A fun American hero beats all comers in their own sovereign back yards. It's ok, he and his mates are American so sovereignty isn't really important. They can beat up, shoot, blow up, anyone they want in other people's countries cause they believe it's in America's interests.
Ok, with that out the way, it is a great fun, action packed, far fetched, ridiculous plot holes, series that is most binge worthy!
Let's make a really really low budget movie with a terrible script, terrible acting, worse plot that has an over the top message that violence against women is bad, the masses are ignorant and.... Who the hell knows.
Wannabe Babel 2. Pretty much the same story, just told more slowly and with less interest.
I guess useful insight into the darker side of roles we take for granted particularly in a cross cultural/class context and, yet again, the possible negative impact on the lives of the children caught up in the tragedy.
This is a movie not intended for the faint of heart. Wow!
I now live in Australia having never wanted to come here largely as the Australia depicted here was what I expected to encounter.
This is an amazing and disturbing view into the underlying psyche of the average Aussie bloke. Granted more visceral, feral, and extreme than reality but a fantastic caricature. The overarching misogynistic, chauvinistic and masculine culture masking a deep rooted homoerotic subtext is not dissimilar to more genteel face presented by modern Australia today. Confronting.
