The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke liye
(2020)

Maya: The forgotten love
Kabir Khan.... To be honest I don't really have much idea about Indian writers...but I don't know why the name " Kabir Khan" felt like a good director name ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ but then when I started watching the series I started to know him -_-

The starting of the series was also good...but then again it's a bollywood series.you gotta add stupidity in every inch of it and so they it up..the point being a thousand troops are captured and all of a sudden a girl shows up,starts taking photos and the "two troop" starts saluting the girl back???!! And the girl is also in the road without even being bothered by the guards/troops??!!

Then there's this name..Anyone would think that it's a series based on war but after watching the series it felt like I've been decieved!!! I mean what is it?? There are more romantic scenes more than battle scenes in it then a romantic movie itself...but then again "Kabir Khan" is the kind of "Director" who makes movies like "bajrangi bhaijan","phantom","sultan" whose movies actually was hit due to those being star studded e.g. Salman Khan (not that I like salman, which is another topic altogether)

On top of that a photographer rushes into the stage in front of thousands of soldiers & gets up in the stage where there's the "Subhash Chandra Bose" without being stopped & gives off her earpices!!!?? Seriously??!!yeah I understand the sacrifice in it but why did u have to depitc this stupidly??which person does that??

When this series(in context with it's namesake) shouldve focused on the struggles & how they fought & won battles & the legacy of INA,they focused on romance, stupid love story & 3rd person singular number kind of dilemma, then at the end girl coming back for her lover from a distance of God knows how much to look for him??!!dear director what were you thinking??? Typicall Bollywood.

I wonder how it even made Amazon when it's known to giving us shows like "jack Ryan","Mirzapor"

Totally misleading and embarrassment..the cast was quite good though..also one thing the Indians are good at is photography...the rating that I'm gonna give is basically only because of this good photography and to do a descent job in chosing the cast...but all in all "A good plot wasted"

After Life

First of all how someone can use comedy tv series to justify his controversial religious views!!!?? Like seriously!!! This part was totally scandalous...

Now to review this tv series is for those guys who's depressed and craving to LHAO...Some scenes were sooo funny I laughed for almost 4/5 minutes by pausing the video.. It was that fun... there's also some fun parts here an be there which together with tony's arrogance was put well.

On the other hand as funny it was, it was boring in some parts too... The opening of every episode with his wife's video was not interesting whatsoever to me.besides some parts felt like there's nothing really to tell, just trying lengthen the episode with cliches...he even tried to justify his religious views with stupid and worthless idea/hypothesis whatever you call it..it couldn't even justify Roxy's being a prostitute (money trouble isn't enough in fact to me no trouble is big enough for a girl to be a prostitute)

Overall anyone who's looking for having a laugh and at occasionally laugh out loud or roll on the floor can watch it.. Worth your time.. This is perfect for the depressed...so bring on season 2 but cut your religious views and socialist views out of it please, will ya?

The Man in the High Castle
(2015)

Sieg Heil
Ive already wrote 3 sentences and undid it...just ain't getting any word to start this review...you know the thinking of a parallel universe about post WWII world if the allies hadnt won is itself is mindblowing...it just continues to surprise you with its elements. You become hard bent one theory that this is gonna happend but then again the director has a "parallel" story for you...Rufus Sewell,Alexa and Joe's story....and extravagant cast does Justice to their role...but its suddenness of intoducing new theory without a proper explanation leaves you perplexed...like i didn't even understand if Tagomi was in this or the other world....at the beginning couldn't even understand what to the show is all about!!

Made in Heaven
(2019)

Overrated
Okay, first up this series is full of typical Indian series "Masala" which shows the beauty of modern india & the beauty of Indian wedding 2.how two friends who are struggling with their business & personal life & somehow overcomes it.

But it felt like a cliche.Too predictable..and they tried to copy the Western series and wanted to add some heroism by adding that LGBTQ struggle thing which is becoming a thing... we don't want this western touch whatsoever....and not everyone like this LGBTQ thing...just stick to the roots na...the director tried to be a smart*** which ruined it

Baazaar
(2018)

Movie worth watching if...
Except for SAK and Chitra this movie's casting was really bad consequently letting the movie down..in some cases the plot's were predictable too... Nevertheless it's a movie worth watching if anyone can put up with Rizwan's(who was trying to be cool but his acting and expression failed him.. Ultimately making him look like a looser) and radhika's acting......๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’

A Star Is Born
(2018)

Copy
Aside from Bradley Cooper's acting this movie is like a copy of 2013 hindi movie Ashiqui 2.So far its been bollywood copying from Hollywood now all of a sudden it's the other way around...well there's nothing much to say except for Bradley's acting and the original songs which stood out... really ive got nothing to say

Debi
(2018)

Good but could be way better
As far as cinematography is concernedit was up to the mark....the plot as we all know is based on Humayun Ahmed Sir's novel "Debi" so obviously you expect some Master class depiction of the story in the movie...but after watching the move it felt like they were in a time limit and had to finish the move at a particular time as if they were in a time table.... Chanchals dialogue felt like he was in a hurry as if he had to rush back home ASAP to finish some work he left incomplete.... The Ending wasn't clear in clarifying how Nilu became Raanu..... And personally I think it would be better if they stuck with the novels time table
