So i watched this movie this year,,after 30 years of it's release and after a famous Indian movie-maker made a crap inspiration of this,something which i went and watched in a theater,,,,m so annoyed with myself!!!

It's a decent,light hearted movie,which has it's actors running the show,the charm comes with time,bloody kept me excited,although somewhat less as i knew what will happen.

PLOT and STORY 2 Conmen,conning wealthy females,some for money,some for fun,,till they collide and try to clear each other out.Not that interesting,pretty lame actually,a big weakness!!!

ACTING and CAST This is where the movie shines.Michael Caine is a gem,,the man can act any role flawlessly without breaking a sweat,and to have someone like Steve Martin around,just compliments the sheer talent on screen.The supporting cast too did a spectacular job.

DIRECTION and SCREENPLAY Well written dialogues and directed beautifully.Just this as the movie is pretty simple and plain,,no effort required,and i am glad that no extra-effort was put,,sometimes all a movie needs is a light-touch!!!

DO watch it if u love celebrating good actors and if u have watched the Bollywood remake only!!!!

PINK is a mirror for modern civilization that has yet to move past it's old beliefs and rituals,,,those beliefs that reflect women as inferior to men,and impose countless restrictions and prejudices on the better half of our society.A movie that can be used to garner some basic education in our young-uns so that they don't stray from the path called LIFE like this current generation has,or which our past generations failed to show us!!!!

STORY and PLOT Simple,a girl gets harassed,she replies and then suffers because of the might the INNOCENT victim,until a man fighting for a just cause intervenes.The flow is linear but is never boring,keeps to at your seat till the end.U realize what will happen next,but u still want to watch it.

ACTING and CAST Casting has been great,,Taapsee has blood grown as an actor,and is garnishing praises from all aroung,,Kirti has done so many decent movies,and is yet to be rated,supporting cast is really good especially Angad,,,but the show belongs to Amitabh sir,,fantastic,an actor for generations to watch and take inspiration from. The actors were never out of phase,,writing too was pretty good,and everyone performs brilliantly.

DIRECTION and SCREENPLAY Some weaknesses,,few scenes were not necessary,,some angles were not implicated and touched(that's why a minus 1),but other than that,the work was fascinating.The whole team deserves an applause!

Must watch for Indian audiences who need to shed that old mentality and also start respecting women,,,NO means NO!!!!!

Sucker Punch started up there,,but soon became shallow,,the idea was perfect,the setting was marvelous,,but implementation not so,the result -by midway i was no longer interested in what will happen in the end!!!!

PLOT and STORY An young girl is sent to an asylum for a crime she didn't commit,and to cope up with the stresses she fantasizes an imaginary world within another imaginary world.Start is pretty decent,and u soon jump the wagon,especially after first 15 minutes,,Baby Doll(Emily Browning) draws you into that world,and you feel everything will be awesome.

ACTING and CHARACTERS Characters are average,,except for some like Blue(Oscar Issac) and Rocket(Jena Malone),,actually most are dull and hold not much significance.Acting is a visible weakness,which is surprising for a Snyder movie.

DIRECTION and SCREENPLAY Are the main fuel for this film,,the transitions between the worlds is fantastic But the environments are not that graceful,a reason why it didn't click,,also the action was great to start with,,but soon becomes a chore-like thing,aimless and interest starts disappearing.

FINAL An average movie,with emphasis on over the top action and mediocre acting and improper execution of a brilliant idea,,,,could have been much better.

Let me start by mentioning that i am a huge fan of the avenger series,,the 1st two movies were quite fun,as were single titles like Iron Man,Thor,Captain America,Ant-man,,,,but over the years marvel has done nothing different,,,i mean Guardians are one for sure,n i loved both of these movies,but the parameter as a whole has been brought down by same things going in circle,,,haven't watched Infinity War and Endgames yet(nor panther/spiderman) but i seriously hope they live up to the hype!!!

PLOT and STORY The premise is decent,the opening scenes are quite interesting actually,but then it all becomes so predictable,,,,the most powerful God's running from threat,the threat is shown to be invincible,the hero loses and reaches some safe haven,,rests,strengthens,accumulate his team,returns to fight the evil,,and wins,,,,Marvel has been so predictable since half a decade and they fail to acknowledge that.

CHARACTERS and ACTING Some new interesting ones,,like Hela(Cate Blanchett) and Grandmaster(JEff Goldblum),,some same old propaganda ones like Valkyrie(Tessa Thompson) and Executioner(Karl Urban),,,acting's pretty good for a super-hero flick,,could have been a better without cheesy dialogues.

DIRECTION and SCREENPLAY The best thing,and probably the one that kept me sitting,,,the fights were pretty decently depicted and the environments and worlds were beautiful.

Overall it's an entertaining movie but for a sequel for an amazing franchise,it is not at par,,,i mean when i know what is going to happen the next minute,how can u keep me interested???

I am writing a review after a long time,and will keep up this time as i feel every honest movie lover should do to stop the propaganda being played by certain media houses and critics in our country

Uri is a gem of a movie,we finally get to see a covert-op movie in India where we usually don't expect much from directors as they have been feeding us mediocre movies for a long time,with occasional decent ones.

PLOT and STORY The plot is a no-brainer if u keep up with things going on in the world,a special team of soldiers is forged to avenge the death of their brothers in arms,lost to a proxy war.The story is beautifully told with strong characters,but the strong point is the covert-missions carried out

CAST Impressive,,Vicky,Paresh,Yami are the leads with decent contribution from Kriti and Mohit Raina,every character is well written and acted.

SCREENPLAY and DIRECTION One of the best,like we had in Western covert-ops movies,,the goosebumps i got while watching the strikes,the pride i had during those minutes....

So stop listening to the propaganda,and watch if u have not watched already!!!

Well i just realized it's been 174 episodes today,n the main protagonist hasn't aged a year since the beginning of the show,,maybe the director has borrowed the idea from Boyhood,n is actually thinking of going as per earthly timeline!!!

So why i rated it awful-So despite the above fact,,,

acting is pathetic save for Chanakya n antagonist,,

direction is stupid(protagonist sleeps with a turban kinda thing on his head),,

the story is progressing at a speed in which u can have countless episodes(i bet at least 500 before Ashoka becomes a ruler),,

plus countless impossible moments(Ashoka fighting a tiger being one,,wait it's not stupid,until u realize he's shown to be around 14-15 yrs of age,,a 10 year n 15 yr guy studying in same class,etc.),,,

the music is horrific(they have a background music for every character,,inspired from Saas-Bahu shows),,, n politics more than even today's era.

In short the show is _________,,if u don't agree me kindly watch a couple of episodes!!!!

Ram Gopal Verma is a gifted director-he gave us Company,Satya,Shool,Ab tak Chappan,Sarkar n D,,but then he acted like all persons related to Bollywood n gave us-Darna Mana Hai,Darna Zarrori Hai,Vaastu Shastra n all.

But this here is his master-piece,a movie with amazing cast,made as a re-make of an amazing movie,in an amazing(SARCASTIC)way.

It's kind of disgrace on "SHOLAY" n i think Ramesh Sippy would definitely have thought of not making that movie just to prevent RGV from making a RE-MAKE.

But the movie has some-positives=U can torture someone my gifting them a copy,or making them deliberately see this one.
