The Delta Force
(1986)

Classic
A classic 80's action film, with a mind blowing cast. Definitely Chuck Norris's best film, and maybe his best performance. I think the fact that he was working with such a big cast, his performance was rather inspired, the actors probably would've given him tips to make his acting better maybe. Lee Marvin's last film, but a film u will always remember him by. Good to see other famous old timers like martin balsam, Shelley winters, George Kennedy and Robert Vaughn. Robert Forster is suburb as the villain of the film. Steve James is also one of the greats, who sadly died, 7 years after the film. Its got a great background score, that although at times is repetitive, is never annoying and always raises spirits. In a way a think the film is a tribute to Lee Marvin, he is a class act at playing tough guys, and his final performance of his life, shows that. The final seen where they arrive back in Israel, is very emotional and when u see the friendship between Norris and Marvin as they take off, and then u have the classic music to go with it. An All time classic.

Once Were Warriors
(1994)

An Absouloutly Incredible film. The acting is outstanding
This comment contains maybe a couple of spoilers (just letting you know)

Rena Owen and Temuera Morrison were wrongly denied Oscar nominations here, and so was the film itself. The story of a maori family who come apart because of the father, alcohol and other social problems.

Beth and Jake have been married for 18 years, but over those years Beth has discovered that Jake is not such a good man, but basically a monster. You first see Jake showing how tough he is in the beginning when he is in the bar and confronts a guy who is reasonably bigger than him. At home he is the same violent monster, he brings his violence home with him.

The scene at the end of the film is the scene which always grabs my attention.

Spoiler: Jake finds out that his best friend has raped his daughter which lead to her death and becomes fueled with absolute rage, he beats him up and probably ends up killing him, we don't find out. Beth eventually decides to pack up and leave

There are many scenes were Jake does show signs that he maybe does care a lot about his daughter's safety and how he wants her to live. The one in the end really shows that. But this doesn't mean that he is not a monster.

Superb acting makes this film what it is. A CLASSIC

Trainspotting
(1996)

Best British movie ever made.
This movie is the best artistic and disturbing film ever made. Whenever Franco is on the screen, most likely you'll be concerned about what he's doing more than anyone else. He is an absolute Psycho, but is performed brilliantly by Carlyle. Ewan McGregor definitely makes his mark here, surely this is the film that made him most noticed around the world. But it really is a Carlyle film all the way. If you want to see a film about good characters than this is it. Its one hell of an amazing Masterpiece that will never be matched for its gore images, and its consistent use of the word,c**t. A film that all film critics must see. Don't' miss it.

True Romance
(1993)

Great F****n Movie
True Romance is a all time classic film directed by Tony Scott, and written by Quentin Tarantino. Christian Slater gives the best performance of his career as Clarence Worley, and PATRICIA ARQUETTE is just as good as Alabama Worley. It also has a magnificent cast including, DENNIS HOPPER, VAL KILMER, GARY OLDMAN, BRAD PITT, CHRISTOPHER WALKEN, BRONSON PINCHOT, SAMUEL L. JACKSON, MICHAEL RAPAPORT, SAUL RUBINEK, TOM SIZEMORE and CHRIS PENN one of my favourite actors. This film has some amazing scenes and some fantastic dialogue which is what you would expect from a writer like Tarantino. The final shootout in the hotel is brilliantly done with plenty of suspense. You must see this film before you die, if you are someone who likes this kind of movie. 10/10.
