K.G.F: Chapter 1
(2018)

Recommended but...
Not to somebody who doesn't like blood, violence, action because they will not appreciate the cinematic brilliance of this movie.

Now coming to the movie, find a theater having good speakers ensembled and has good picture quality.

The first half build's up the story with some typical South Indian Masala Movie flavor but in good taste. Viewer should really pay attention to the narration in the beginning when many characters are introduced in no time, I feel you'll miss the plot if don't. As it happens with any larger than life character there is lot of build up to the main character (Rocky). I wouldn't mind it as the Director is not trying for an Oscar nomination here and its required for a great showdown. But does it put the audience off may be may be a little bit. And as you think you are losing interest there comes a scene which will hold you back and believe me this will happen on more than one occasion.

As you pass through the first half with some entertainment, some emotions and of course a little bit patience take a break and get ready to enter "Kolar Gold Fields" and the pure technical brilliance of the entire team of "KGF".

Start the second half the Director will take you on a Joy Ride have fun and you'll come out of the theater Satisfied.

There are moments you feel perhaps you should spend some more quality time with your mother(The Ultimate Warrior).

High octane background score, Very good cinematography and finally good editing, screenplay and Direction. All the actors have done justice to the role given to them.

The climax is something I could guess moments before as by now I was already in awe of the Director's caliber and moment has come for Prashant Neel to showcase his touch of brilliance.

So Chapter 1 has been concluded at the right moment and the stage is set for a mega finale in Chapter 2 with all the threads open.

I hope Prashant Neel will weave them efficiently and not disappoint because a lot of people by now are waiting for Chapter 2 including me.

Very good Bollywood film
I am happy to have seen this movie during its theatrical run, such movies have to be promoted in Bollywood. I wouldn't compare this with any Bourne series installment but this indeed is a damn good film. The movie runs real fast and you won't get tired of watching some scenes which could have been edited. The story is simple yet made quite interesting. Its a thriller in every sense. The movie is shot in some beautiful locations which will give you a feel of a Hollywood flick. All actors were good in there roles especially Akshay Kumar who has given a very good performance. I guess we can expect a lot of good movies from him in future. There are some loop holes but we can ignore them, Neeray Pandey is just 3 films old but he is a great director to be. I am giving this 10/10 perhaps a couple of points extra because its a Bollywood movie and I want more such movies from them. Finally this movie is not anti any religion. Go watch it you won't feel regretted.

Beautiful movie!!!
After a long gap I saw a movie, the last one was "Special 26". Firstly, I do not like romantic kinda of movies, but had to watch the movie since it had generated a strong word of mouth. And after watching this love saga I think I missed watching it in a theater. To start the casting for me was bang on, since the characters required that innocence. The story telling was good, the music and lyrics were beautiful and soothing. Acting, I think both actors were very sincere in there approach and enacted to there best of ability. The actress innocent expressions were perfect. I loved the movie all through but I was hoping the ending won't be the one I was thinking in my mind but it turned out to be the same which I hate. The climax kind of made me little sad, which is pat on the back for the Director. The movie will stay with you for sometime... I know why the movie scored big time in box office, there are lot of love birds out there... Overall just a beautiful love story with perfect music composition.

Very Impressive...
Special 26 is a very impressive film from start till end with minor bumps which if edited would have straight away landed it as the Best film of 2013 without even waiting for rest of the movies which will release. Neeraj Pandey has done it again, very talented Director. I am already waiting for his next flick.

Special 26 is executed really well with top notch performances from the actors. This movie will keep you waiting for something to happen. Will the elite CBI officer catch the smart con its better you watch it yourself. The movie has its share of light moments which are situational. Songs are not great and the love angle would have been presented better maybe but then you feel it more due the adrenalin the director has already built up.

Akshay Kumar is fantastic, Manoj Bajpee is as usual good, Anupam Kher great. Overall the movie is presented very well with the climax being the best a thriller/suspense movie can have. I am sure you will try and guess the climax but rest assured you will be served with a delightful climax which will leave you with may be a Smile on the face or "Hell man he is a genius".

I will go with 9/10 and you will know why the lone star is missed.

Above average to sum up
The movie is not one of the best from Aamir, I would give Kahaani thumbs up. A whodunit kinda of flicks are hit or miss, unfortunately its a miss for me. The climax will get mixed responses, people who have not watched some of the psycho kinda of films from Hollywood will feel better when they come of the theatre. The movie is supposed to be a whodunit, well the promoters marketed it that way but what you get is a soda without gas. The case is solved with manipulated explanation, which makes the viewer think that the actor who dies of accident actually saw the spirit and ended up crashing into sea. This movie is nothing more than Ramsay kinda of stuff presented in a classy way. Quite a lot of loop holes, I guess after Kahaani the writers realised that the script/climax is very week hence postponed the release by good 6 months. A clash would have resulted in huge backlash.

Acting wise Kareena is great, Rani does justice, Aamir is OK. It's a irony that the movie will make more than 100crs whereas Kahaani hardly touched 70Crs.

The movie doesn't deserve spending on premium tickets in multiplexes. I would give 6/10 only because I didn't like the ending.

The Dark Knight Rises
(2012)

Overall a satisfying experience!!!
I had great time watching the trilogy and the finishing just made it a beautiful experience. Without doubt Joker made a huge impact in the Batman series but TDKR showed us why Batman is a symbol of hope for Gotham. TDKR didn't have those million edge of the seat moments as TDK but surely a well executed story. I didn't like Bane much but then I wanted something from Bruce Wayne and Batman in this last installment and I was not disappointed. TDKR is more about Bruce Wayne and his emotions. The first half build the story and is slow paced but picks up in second half and you get into Nolanlism. The actions sequences are rich, there is excitement to the story build up. I loved it the most when Batman makes his entry for the first time, great background score there. The fights sequences are RAW and exciting too you could find some WWE stunts executed there.

Christian Bale, Micheal Caine for me were the best. Freeman does his usual. Tom Hardy really didn't impress me, Hathway is beautiful in most of scenes. Gordon has done justice to the Blake character. Background score stands out, editing is not at its best.

This is not the best of Nolan which he himself has to blame for after what a masterpiece he rolled out in TDK. But then TDKR has those emotional moments which fills your heart and that void which was missing in previous installments.

Overall a very good movie watch it, don't compare with TDK just go for it because there isn't another chapter coming...
