When I sat down in the cinema, I was expecting it to be a typically average sequel to the much-loved original. I was anticipating the odd scare and, admittedly, a lack of plot. I was very wrong. The film topped my expectations - it was a simply fantastic.

Firstly, I really do not know why anyone is complaining. The only reason people are naming it "disappointing" is because of the first movie (which, remember, is one of the best films of all time). If Jurassic Park had never been made, there wouldn't be a single complaint.

The gripping plot is full of thrills, scares, and even the odd laugh. From the very start, you fearfully anticipate what the consequences of engineering the Indominus Rex (the villainous Dino of the film) will be. In addition, although there are moments that reflect what happened in the other movies, the basic plot is original and there are a couple of surprising twists along the way.

The special effects are brilliant. The dinosaurs were so convincing that I actually believed the were real, which only added to the tension I experienced from beginning to end. Although, apparently, not all the dinosaurs represent what they were actually like (the Raptors, apparently, had feathers on them - an image that would not be very scary) there is a reasonable yet non-confusing amount of science discussed in the film.

The acting is also top-class. Ty Simpkins and Chris Pratt in particular give very convincing performances.

During the movie, you also gain a developed understanding in the personalities of the characters, which is something most action movies lack. For people and humans alike, we get an insight into either their vicious or caring characteristics.

I would highly recommend this film to anyone (although the movie may not be suitable for anyone younger than 9 or 10). And, with the greatest respect to people criticising the film, nobody should listen to them. Sadly, some people are never pleased.

This film is great for the whole family. Young or old, boy or girl, short or tall -- you will love this film!

The satisfying cast offer convincing performances throughout - I was particularly impressed with Capaldi, playing the grumpy old neighbour!

The picture is excellent...animation seems to be becoming all the more realistic nowadays!

It is very funny and suitable for its target audience, however there are also moments of sensitivity...to be frank, my eyes were watering at one moment!

Overall, a great family film and would recommend to anyone.

Maybe it didn't top the first film, but hey, there was a handful of laughs and it did get me into the Christmas spirit...and it's a Christmas film - so that must be a good thing!

People branding it "childish" makes me chuckle. "Childish" suggests it is good for children but perhaps a bit far fetched for the adults of this world. Well, it is a children's film, so surely it is successful in making the content right for its audience? It's rated U after all, did you really expect masses of innuendo and sophisticated drama scenes?

The songs in the film are pretty catchy, and the singing is actually pretty good. The acting may not be top notch, but some scenes actually left me a bit teary, with a very good performance from the actress who portrayed young Lauren.

Overall, I would recommend this film to anyone in need of a festive treat!

It was a brilliant end to a brilliant film and TV series.

The characters are all as funny as ever, the script is great, some old banter and jokes were thrown in, and overall it is absolutely hilarious.

I did have my doubts when I saw the trailer but honestly I think whoever made the official trailer was against the film being successful or something because they showed hardly any of the funny bits!

So don't not see it if you were disappointed by the trailer!

The whole cinema laughed on more than several occasions, a lot more than I expected. So go see it because it's amazing.

This film is so funny.

There isn't a dull moment in this flick -- it's full of adventure, twists and laughs! Being a kids animation, you wouldn't think parts of it would actually make you teary eyed -- but I gotta admit, some of it made me shed a tear! Being part of a family of five, I definitely related to this more than most people would.

The film is all about family, young love and letting go.

I'd definitely recommend a watch.

It keeps young kids entertained as well as making adults and teens laugh! It's so cute as well...one of the best I've seen in a while.

I love cliffhangers. Not only does each episode of Sherlock end on one, but the end of each series leaves you guessing too, meaning you have no choice but to watch the next series! And thank God I've kept watching it! A gripping, complex crime and mystery drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, who are both incredible and portray convincing roles. What I like in a programme/film is a mixture of emotions, and Sherlock certainly makes me laugh and cry. I won't lie and say EVERY thing in Sherlock is realistic, but that's part of the entertainment! If you haven't seen Sherlock, I suggest you catch up now before Series 4 begins, which I'm very much looking forward to!

Despite the title of 'frozen' this film is so heart warming!

I watched this on Christmas Eve and it certainly got me in the Christmassy mood. The film is basically about true love, sisterly love and being yourself.

Reasons you should see this film: -- It's so Christmassy with snow and it's about family and love. -- Very, very funny. I.E the snowman will have you laughing throughout, as well as other amusing moments! -- Some good music in it -- in fact I've got a new favourite song from this film!

Please see this film! You will not regret it!

This film educates you well about life of dinosaurs. The animation is realistic -- you feel like you're there with the creatures. Very accurate information.

A lot of people are complaining about the bird commentary, saying it was irritating and unfunny. Ever think it's to keep the kids entertained? Anyway, I found the bird amusing! The story has a reasonable, engaging plot to it that keeps you watching and therefore learning!

Would recommend a watch!

Great follow up to BBC's series

So for all you miserable adults out there going "uh, I've wasted my money on this" well, perhaps you did, seeing as though you're 30 years old. This film is for children. For anyone aged between 4 and 12 really, though others will enjoy it too, unless your surname is Scrooge.

Good music in it, great acting from Tennant, some funny moments.

Yes, some of it was unrealistic and very silly, but most films are unrealistic. If you didn't enjoy this film in the SLIGHTEST, you obviously don't like Christmas much!

Well worth a watch.

Hence the title, I'd just like to make it clear Jennifer Lawrence was absolutely brilliant throughout this film. She got the audience both laughing and crying, sad and angry, amused and annoyed -- at the right times! Lawrence aside, the whole cast were at high standards, particularly Harrelson, Hutcherson and Claflin. Even the extras seemed to convince you the whole Hunger Games world was real.

The film gripped your attention throughout. If you were a fan of the first movie, you are going to love the second! The special effects have improved by a million years, everything seems so much more advanced. The costumes were mesmerizing, if your a fashion freak I'm sure you'll love this movie even more! The arena was done very well. If you've read the books, the arena will have been on your mind before the film. I was asking myself the same question before the film started: what will the arena be like? Well, I can tell you it was fantastic, just like the film was.

The movie is for Directioners (One Direction fans) and no one else. I went with my two 1D-mad friends, who loved it. I am not crazy for them, but I am fond of them and love Harry and Zayn, so I found most of it entertaining. I spent £8 on this film, which is why I didn't give it a ten out of ten because it wasn't really worth all the money...I'd pay a fiver. There are some moments in it where I couldn't stop laughing. Louis is particularly funny! Anyway, my two friends also thought it was very 'emotional' and cried in most parts. I didn't cry, but I guess I would if I was a proper PROPER fan! It's got all the songs in it for the music fans, plus all the backstage exclusive videos and rehearsals. Plus, you get to see all their families and what it's like on a tour bus. My only complaint would be that it didn't really make me love them anymore. It only told me what I already knew. Overall though, it's worth a try if you're not a Directioner and a must see if you are!

I watched this last night and am still thinking about it right now, all the time. The movie is to raise awareness of malaria, which kills children by the dozen each year. The film is extremely touching. It presents a strong mother-son bond for both Mary and George, and Martha and Ben. When tragedy strikes, it is presented in such a way only someone with a heart of stone would not be moved. The acting is of a high-quality -- you can feel exactly what the characters are feeling. Mary's speech towards the end is touching and moving; it gave me goosebumps and produced fresh tears in my eyes. Overall a brilliant film, I would definitely watch it again.

I am 16 years old and therefore someone who should typically prefer Pitch Perfect to a movie starring pensioners. And I loved Pitch Perfect. But Pitch Perfect only made me laugh. Not cry. I prefer movies that do both. And this film was one of those. One minute I was roaring with laughter and the next my mum rushed into the room wondering if I'd broken my ankle. This is probably the most fantastic movies of all time, and certainly the most underrated. A story about family, living life to the full and trying out something new -- life might just surprise you. I now feel so much better about life -- I know not to get anything for granted, particularly life, and even if people laugh at me, so what if they're laughing at me for doing something I enjoy? Great acting from Terence Stamp, Vanessa Redgrave, Christopher Eccleston and Gemma Arterton. Other members of cast portrayed convincing characters too.

So if you haven't seen this movie, I recommend you watch it now. If you're 45, ask a 12 year old and a 90 year old to watch it too...I'm sure it'll be smiles all round.

The poor families who lost relatives in this terrible event must be appalled. In fact, I know for a fact some of them are upset about it being made because I know someone who's ex was killed, and she's not happy.

It didn't even happen ten years ago, and there making a film of it. Why? To get money. The families don't have to see it, but most people are talking about it...so that just brings back really bad memories for them, doesn't it? I am personally fed up of people making films to get money, with no feelings towards the families of the tragic victims.

This movie that I have literally just seen was absolutely amazing! Freshman Beca starts college with low expectations -- all she want to do is go to Vegas and be a DJ, much to her father's disappointment. However, when one of the "Bellas" hears her singing, it seems Beca has no choice but to audition. Of course, she gets in, with her amazing voice. That was a brief summary. A more accurate summary of this movie would be: you will laugh from the very start when you watch this film! If you don't think someone being sick loads and loads is funny though, it will still be for you, because there's plenty more humour to be found -- if witty one liners is your thing or your humour is more sexual-related...this film is for everyone! To make the film even better, it is full of up-beat, mainly modern music most people will want to get up and dance to! Mainly for teens, I'd say -- but that doesn't mean to say this film isn't for everyone!

I went to see this with a friend after reading half the book. I hadn't intended on seeing it before I'd finished the book, but I don't regret seeing it at all. Firstly, the acting is pure class. Pi, the main character, brings pure emotion into his acting...he made me feel happy and sad and whatever. I don't like seeing animals dying, but there was nothing too disturbing nor brutal, though highly emotional when Orange Juice died and the zebra's suffering. The story, as it is expressed in the book, is meant to make you believe in God. Coming from an ex-atheist, I would now say, yes, I fully believe in God. The film was so powerful. It brought out every emotion in me -- I felt like crying; then a few minutes later I felt like bursting into fits of hysterical laughter! Overall a must-see for everyone, aged from around 8 up.

First of all, if anyone is considering reading the book and seeing the film -- read the book first, because it's a lot better, but that's me and I'm a total bookworm. Already knowing what happens, I thought I'd get bored after half an hour -- but I really didn't! It's a great film, and thoroughly entertaining. The cast is fantastic, with talented Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, experienced Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and heart-throb Liam Hemsworth as Gale. The plot, written by imaginative Suzanne Collins, is completely heart-stopping, leaving you on the edge of your seat throughout. Question after question fill your mind like, "Will Peeta die?", "Will Katniss kill Peeta, or the other way round?" and, at the tense reaping, "Will Katniss and Gale both get picked?" It's absolutely fantastic, and, I respect people's opinions of course, but people who give this ONE star out of ten are the definition of ungrateful and spoilt -- because why would any criticise such a great film?

The film starts with shots of the hole, building tension. The hole turns out to be a forever-going-on tunnel that releases people's worst fears when they look into it. Dayn and Lucas are brothers who used to be abused by their now locked up dad, and first see the hole after having a fight and knocking over a drawer that was on top of the hole. They throw down some pins, but don't hear them crashing to the bottom. Then, the girl next door also comes to investigate, and the kids send a camera down to film what's down there. When they're watching it later, their mum comes in and the turn around to talk to her, missing a scary eye staring into the camera. The three kids' worst fears all come to life, Julie's being her late best friend who died because she didn't save her, Lucas's being a jester/clown, and Dayn's being his abusive dad. As the film gets more tense, the more you want to watch and see if they manage to overcome their fears. There is a scary scene in the toilets and in Julie's bedroom, and they have to be the scariest scenes. Most people I saw it with the first time were scared but when we watched it again another time, it wasn't as scary. So the movie is only good the first time, really. I would recommend it to to anyone between the ages of 12 and 15, boy or girl.

A must-see end to the series of the magical Harry Potter world. I recommend it to all ages, all genders and all expectations. This grand finale starts off where part 1 of Deathly Hallows finished, with Harry crouching besides Dobby's grave. It is showing how the good is weak and evil are getting stronger, but Harry, Ron and Hermione are determined to hunt down the remaining horcruxes. After a heart-stopping trip to the bank, the threesome go to Hogwarts for the final battle. Many innocent lives are taken, with some main characters getting killed. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint make an excellent job portraying their life-long characters, and though it's Emma's best film, she still lacks the chirisma from my point of view. The movie ends really well, but I'd have liked more of a bang at the end so the viewer could have been left wondering what was going to happen next.

I went to see this film with my friend and our younger brothers, and they loved it. They are ten and laughed continuously through the film. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over twelve, as it isn't exactly a teenage drama, and it is more suited for a younger audience. However, children will love it! There is a jumpy scene in the movie, which personally scared me, but it isn't unsuitable for a younger audience, just a bit jumpy. Some of the events that took place throughout the movie were slightly unrealistic, but younger children don't seem to mind and just find the scene when he loses his swimming trunks funny. Overall, I found the movie entertaining throughout!
