It just jumps on into everything and everyone without any kind of build-up or development of the characters, or plot in general. It's all over the place.

Nice movie for those interested in the psychological aspect of human beings deserted in the dark, cold, vacuum of space while vital resources are being depleted. If you have an attention span of more than 20 seconds and are more interested in dialogue and the human condition rather than non-stop shoot-em-up and gratuitous violence, then I recommend this movie with a stellar performance by Epps and the rest of the cast.

Omitting all of the scientific fallacies here (such as a silicon-based iPad and other things working after an EMP), this film just fails to keep the viewer's attention with any action. If a teenage girl running through the forest for 90 minutes is your thing, then enjoy.

The story of lonely, fickle, and illogical cosmonaut "Milutin", who can't leave well-enough alone. Jaded with using his A.I. companion as his subservient sex slave and technical adviser, he foolishly believes that he can liberate "her" to be her own person... with disastrous consequences. The inward battle of selfish, carnal, and controlling man vs. the insecure and weak one.

...quite sad and pathetic that we can't watch a program in an attempt to be informed without being subjected to people's infantile political opinions. Anyone with half a brain realizes that whatever the current Administration happens to be or any specific media network... has nothing to do whatsoever with the surveillance. Like the only hip and intelligent people in the world support a particular political party or tv network. Seems the people that produce these programs just don't get it and will never grow up. We don't care about your irrelevant politics.

Authentic acting based on a real-life incident. The only unrealistic part of the movie was Duece's family and friends (all dozen of them) welcoming his new black girlfriend with open arms... in 1972. No shocked looks, stares, gasps, etc. Of course times have changed but most Caucasian families were the same back then. Yes, my father's side of the family is from The Hill in Providence and Patriarca Sr. was actually at my parent's wedding in 1969. I'm writing this review here because the admin of the Facebook page deleted my comment. One of those admins that only allow glowing, positive reviews and no criticism, constructive or otherwise.

Kept my attention for the entire almost two hours.

I'm a sci-fi fan but even the dialogue in this movie was uninteresting. The entire plot was just unrealistic in any stretch of the imagination.

I never got around to seeing this in theaters, so I ordered on cable. I will refute some criticism of the film with my own opinions.

First, they say that Jaden wasn't a good actor in the film. I disagree and think that he did a fine job. His lines didn't sound forced or empty of emotion or sincerity to me.

Some said that the special effects were sub-par. I couldn't see that either. They were right up there with other large-budget films with well-known actors.

I read one review that the plot was "full of holes"...? It was pretty straight forward to me, and come on people; it's a science FICTION movie.

Some said boring. Well if you are looking for an action movie with non-stop fighting and shoot 'em up, then it might not be for you. If you are someone with an attention span of more that 30 seconds, the film is interesting and suspenseful and had me rooting for Kitai and wondering what he would run into next.
