Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV
(2024)

This type of abuse has been happening for 100+ years.
I am so glad that feminism and human rights and workplace abuses and violence have now finally come to the fore. How many thousands of young people, both young girls and young boys have been abused by these toxic and pedophiliac men? I would say it's in the thousands, and many kept quiet, because under the guys of entertainment and professionalism, and male patriarchy, nobody said anything.

Thank goodness for the me too movement, and it took something this severe and drastic for the heads of studios to say oops we screwed up. Pretty much every young person I know who's been in Hollywood has some issue. Not all, but many. And look what happens to their careers. They wind up drinking or doing drugs and becoming a mess. I don't think that happens by chance. There should not be this high of a toll to pay to simply be an entertainment. I think this documentary is amazing and it shines a light on the studio heads and writers.

Dan and Brian are both pieces of crap who need to spend the rest of their lives in prison. Anyone who has come forward to tell their story, we are all very proud of you. Thank you for bringing this documentary to the public, so we can understand that we must protect our children, we must protect women, we must protect men. Because there are lecherous and abusive men out there, who will take advantage of people when in positions of power.

I hope Drake and Amanda, and anyone else who is negatively affected by these two outlaws, become brighter and more recover . My heart goes out to anyone who is subject to this toxicity.

The four-part series was done very well, and as disturbing as it was, I think it's a subject that we all need to be familiar with. I hope at sometime, or at some point, people will not have to pay HBO to learn of these horrors, and it will serve as a public service announcement, to all the families who don't have access to HBO, and who want to put their children in the spotlight. I don't blame all the parents, but I blame many of the parents, who want to live vicariously through their children, and will probably subject their children to all types of abuses just for a paycheck. I'm not saying this always happens, but it happens more than we would know.

I'm a generation, X lady, so I really never watched any of the shows, but I'm familiar with the stars. And seeing what happened behind the scenes with Brian and seeing how Dan staged a lot of these repulsive and sexually oriented themes was disgusting. And just a think the millions upon millions of children, who watch this thinking it's entertainment, not knowing that it was some sick, pervert behind the scenes, writing a script That allowed them to envision their fantasies.

I will be interested to see episode number five and I would hope that it contains more episodes and perhaps goes back in time. Because other people back in the 40s and 50s were also abused, so let's shine the light on that as well.

Nine Perfect Strangers
(2021)

A perfect show in every respect. Highly recommend
Well, someone recommended this show to me, and I have fallen in love. Why can't we have more shows like this. Anyone who gave it less than a 10, simply does not have basic comprehension of a 10 out of 10 show. I don't know who wrote this show, but kudos to them. What a unique an interesting plot. I'm surprised no one has thought of something like this before. The casting was impeccable. Michael, Shannon and Bobby The Caravelle were stand out characters to me. Melissa McCarthy did a great job, as well as Nicole Kidman, but Bobby and Michael stood out to me. The whole cast was amazing. I wish they didn't give Nicole Kidman a Russian accent. Other than that she was great in it. The music they had interwoven between all the scenes made it even better. Nonetheless this is one of the better shows I've seen in a long time. OK, so I just found out it was a woman named Liane Moriarty. Kudos to women riding like this. We need more of people like her. Great job with the show.

Stormy
(2024)

A voyeuristic reality show like documentary about an unfortunate woman and situation
The Stormy Daniels documentary provided a compelling insight into the intersection of power, politics, and personal choices. While it may have leaned towards a reality show format and exhibited bias, it effectively shed light on important societal issues. Therefore, I would rate it 5 stars for its thought-provoking content and its ability to expose the underbelly of power dynamics in the United States.

Stormy Daniels has ultimately made very bad choices throughout her life, which led her to engaging in a parasitic relationship with Donald Trump, where she thought she could expand her career beyond porn and topless dancing. Sadly, this did not transpire, but she ultimately kept pushing for her 15 minutes of fame, which is sadly turned into a 15 year saga she seems to be very comfortable with sleeping with the documentarian, putting her child's life at risk, and losing important relationships for money. I don't want to blame her for these decisions, because she did have a very rough upbringing, so I do hope that she does well in the future. If you were looking for something unbiased, don't bother.

Poor Things
(2023)

What am I watching?
So I'm sure that people might be judging people who are giving this movie low scores for being prudes, or those who are predisposed to under appreciate artistic movies. This is absolutely not true. I adore strange and artistic films, but this one just seem gratuitously repulsive. I really like something with more of a plot or profound plots and a movie that does not rely solely on nudity or sex, or the abuse of the female body. It was very difficult to watch the scenes. The only reason I graciously gave this movie or four was because Mark Ruffalo. He was absolutely fantastic in this movie, but beyond that, I really didn't see any stand out actors. Emma always does a good job. It won awards for being original, because what other movie would actually be like this? None. What other movies would have constant nonstop sex and nudity? None. I guess people are hungry for this vacuous type of plot, but I just personally did not like it as a woman. Yes, the cinematography was great, yes, the acting by the main characters was amazing. But that's where it ends. I am still, however, trying to trudge to the end of it. We need more movies like this move these like pans labyrinth that are aesthetically, beautiful and where the plot is very different or even oriented around science, fiction or fantasy, but this one fell short. The movie did get better near the end, so I upped the score to 6.

The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping
(2024)

A stark and raw look at the underbelly of youth "rehabilitation."
I would absolutely rate this a 10 out of 10. Aside from the absolute cruelty that has happened and still happens to thousands upon thousands of teens, the filmmaker was extremely well prepared and this was an amazing portrayal of these particular cons, cults and kidnappings. I am very glad that she, along with the others in the documentary series, brought this issue to the fore. Investigative, emotional and riveting, throughout all three episodes. The storytelling was done very well, and as disturbing as it was, it really shines a light on these toxic and dangerous programs. I have a few ideas of how, as a group, we could try to shut these places down, so reach out to me if you'd like. I was a woman, I want to see these people pay for their evils. Thank you for bringing this issue to the public. These programs have been going on for far too long. I was born in the late 60s, and I remember some back then. Parents are also brainwashed into thinking these programs are good. These people are swindlers , sociopaths and con men. I want to see justice. This Netflix documentary will certainly do that.

Down Low
(2023)

No, this is not Schindler's list, but it is highly entertaining.
Boy was this refreshing. Everyone did such a good job and it's good to see some fresh faces. Zachary and Judith you did an amazing job, and this new guy Lukas is amazing. It was a little bit sick and twisted, but it was enjoyable and it was entertaining and it was fresh and it was original. There's so many boring scripts out there.

I wish there were more movies like this available. It deviates so much from the standard trope.

The acting was really impeccable. I'm not sure who the writer was, but they did a really good job, and the scenery was great, and I like the whole psychological element behind everything.

Good job, everyone.

Priscilla
(2023)

What did I just watch? Bad, very bad.
I'm giving this a five, because I feel bad for giving it anything less, because it seems like they did attempt to make an effort, but that effort fell very short. Honestly, this would've been so much better as a docuseries, or a docudrama. This needs at least six or seven episodes. It was way too condensed.

I'm very familiar with the work of the main actor, and he was amazing in euphoria. Do we need to put him in every single movie? He didn't really look like Elvis Presley, but close enough. I know he's a good actor, but I don't think he had a good script to work with.

The young lady who played Priscilla just wasn't right for the role. Again, it's very possible that the script was just so poorly written, that these actors had nothing to work with.

The music was very good, and it pulled the movie along ever so sluggishly.

The cinematography and the costumes were really good, where it made you feel like you were in that period.

The script was bad. It was just very bad, it was 1 1/2 hours of just pure strangeness. I think the writer was trying to make it like some type of art house film, but it just didn't work. I felt like everyone in this role was taking Valium. It was so flat and dull and boring.

And plus come on people we know this story, and we know it well. If you made it into a docudrama or a docuseries, we could've at least gotten a better idea of the characters. There was no character development, just a cursory look at each person.

It was like I was in some type of weird dream. The show just started and then it ended. It may have given you three minutes of an entire decade. It just didn't make any sense. Who is Priscilla, does she feel a certain way? She had the same flat tone throughout the whole movie as did Elvis. The emotion was completely lacking. I was really expecting more.

One Day
(2024)

Love this story! Great new fresh faces.
First, let me say that I loved the movie called one day that was made in the 2000s. It was one of my favorite movies and I've watched at least five times. The actors were better the story was better, etc. So this is just a remake of something that was just done 15-20 years ago. But I commend the writers of this for recognizing that there was a sleeper of a movie out there that needed to be remade. So I'm kind of glad for that because I like the premise.

It's kind of strange, because I like the actors, but they are very lackluster. They were probably just working within the script they had. But it's really good to see fresh faces. The young man is a very good actor and I see an amazing future for him. The young lady was also a good actress, but they seemed like a mismatch. I didn't feel the chemistry. I think I felt it more from her side than his.

One thing I really liked about this TV series was the music. Whoever did the music did an amazing job and it makes it so much more tolerable to hear this awesome music from that time period.

I'm only on episode five so I might come back and increase the ratings, but for now it's between 7-8. I needed more feeling, I needed more passion. People want to feel emotions, whether it be excitement or sadness or happiness. We want to feel it. I didn't really feel like that much.

But overall it was pleasant.

Expats
(2023)

I'm trying to get into it. Not as good as her other work.
I'm really trying to figure out what's going on, so I will keep trying, as I really do you like the concept of Americans living in Hong Kong as ex-pats. I will keep watching it, but it's not as good as undone on HBO. Now that was really good.

I love Nicole Kidman, and the types of movies that she is involved with, and TV shows. I think she is a pretty good actress, but I hate to jump on the bandwagon, and as a 56-year-old woman, I think I look amazing. And I bet if she didn't mess with her face, she would look as amazing. It's very sad that actresses in sexist Hollywood feel like they must mutilate their faces just to get a role. I think she would've been good, so I do wish that she would stop, because I want to see someone's expression. I want to see them smile, or frown, or be jealous, or be angry, and I cannot see any of that it's just like someone who is dead in the face. And it's not only that, but it looks very unpleasant and painful whenever she speaks, so it's hard to get in to each scene. There is a scene in a restaurant where they're playing a really cool Blondie song and she's dancing with another lady, but I can't focus on that as all I can focus on is her marionette face and her joker lips. I'm not trying to be ugly, but I'm trying to let her know that it's really hard for the viewer to get into something when they can't understand what is going on. I don't know if she's happy or sad or mad or anything? I don't want to judge a female in Hollywood, I really don't, and as a diehard feminist, it makes me feel terrible to have to do that, but if I'm to base it strictly on the TV show, it's fairly good. Once I figure out what's going on, and I like the concept of it, but they should've used another actress. Nicole keeps inserting herself in all of these roles and it's just not a good fit. This could've been a five out of five, but I think Nicole needs to be behind the camera. Nicole, you're a stunningly, beautiful woman, and you are a really good actress, and I like the way you write these shows, we need more of them, but either use someone else, or lay off of the plastic surgery, because it does look painful and unpleasant.

The Undoing
(2020)

A delicious little show. Should be more seasons.
I love this show. As a woman, I crave and wait for shows like this. Extremely well done on the casting and the acting in the script. Everybody did a phenomenal job. It's really weird to see Hugh Grant in a role like this, but he really did a bang up job. All the supporting cars did a great job as well. I am, however, very disappointed in Nicole Kidman. I know she's a fairly good actress, but I couldn't tell what she was feeling or thinking, as her face did not move I know women in Hollywood have to stay young looking, but she's almost 60 years old, and her face does not show any signs of aging, and it looks unlike who she is. I wish people would really stop doing these things to their face. So I couldn't really tell if she was a good actress or a bad actress in this, because I couldn't see her facial expressions. Other than this, everything was amazing.

Moonstruck
(1987)

Eeks, this would be the worst movie I've ever seen
I have tried to watch this movie three or four times, but I've never been able to make it through, so I decided to try again upon a recommendation. And once again, it was so awful, I could not believe this did not get a Razzie award. The acting amongst the worst I've ever seen. Whoever wrote the script, did a very bad job. How can anybody with half a brain watch this and not think it was terrible. There was not one good part in the whole movie. And then just randomly it ended. Please don't see this. I just wasted 90 minutes of my time. I think if the script would've been better, then share may have had something to work with, but Nicolas Cage was so laughingly awful. And, I actually kind of like him and certain straight movies like this. What a shame.

The Lost Weekend: A Love Story
(2022)

Wow, I never knew. What an amazing documentary
I'm still in shock. Yoko told a narrative of John cheating. Now the truth is that it was arranged and 2 beautiful souls fell in love. A couple meant to be together as is illustrated by May. Everything was so craftily produced. The collaborations. The vacations, the love, the music. The deep and raw emotions of May and John. Oh how different his life would have been without the overbearing and dictatorial nature of Yoko. I despise her all over again. I remember the day John died. I wish he had the strength and fortitude to have finally rid of Yoko. Thank you May for sharing this beautiful and poignant story.

The Curse
(2023)

Super fresh and exciting! A welcome surprise
This is pretty much a must watch for those of you who like a neurotic, edgy and portrayal of greed and IT's consequences. Or, at least this is my take. It is a delicious little watch. Nomination worthy.

Cast - What? Nathan for YOU? His acting was a 10/10, the same for Emma Stone. Impeccable acting. The rest of the cast are amazing.

Aesthetic - I'd describe it as a sepia toned, dry, New Mexico, retro and hippie vibe. Nice.

Music - Great and fitting music.

Fashion/setting - very casual southwestern vibe. I liked the sets they used.

Camera work - impeccable. Some of the closeups and angles gave it a cool vibe.

I loved this.

Good Grief
(2023)

A complete let down sadly - Such potential, but a total loss
I saw the trailer for this movie on Netflix, and it was much anticipated on my end. Although Dan has always done comedy, I wanted to give him a chance to express his artistic brush to the category of drama. Sadly, it just did not work. The script seemed to have had potential, and I think with some adjustments to the script, and definitely to the casting, this would have have been phenomenal. It just fell flat. Dan was just not believable as a grieving husband navigating life. His friends were unbelievable and curiously cast. Honestly, I think Himesh Patel (great acting) would've done better in the main role and Dan as the friend. Ruth Negga's character was so over acted and so over the top, that I believe she was one of the primary reasons I did not like this movie. It was as if she was taking high school drama 101. She was distracting. Perhaps she was just trying to work with a really bad script. This category of movie, in my opinion, is at the top of all the genres that are available, and it's so rare that Netflix will put out a good movie in that category, so I really wanted this to work.

OK some of the things that did work was the music. The music was impeccable. The aesthetic of the movie was amazing. I like the clothing, I liked the apartments, I liked the art gallery, Etc. That was beautiful. And I think if it was different actors with a slightly adjusted script, it may have evoked a tear from me. I wanted to feel sad, I wanted to feel pain, I wanted to feel a sense of something, but no. I just stared at the screen with disappointment.

Dan Levy is an amazing actor in the comedy genre. I don't like to box someone in the category, but I would like to see him try again, but with some adjustments. We need people like him, creative and brilliant. And I know he wanted to break out of the comedy genre, and I respect that, but this was not his crowning glory.

Maestro
(2023)

One of the best movies I have seen all year. This is a must see.
Oh, how glorious this movie was. My soul craves something so deep and so thoughtful as this highly accurate portrayal of the genius, Leonard, Bernstein and his wife. First of all the portrayal using costumes scenery and make up was impeccable, and I felt like I was living in the 50s and the 1960s and the 1970s. The cinematography was beautiful, so I believe this was one of the best parts.

Bradley Cooper once again brings us a stellar performance. He really gets into the role. And again, Carrie Mulligan also brings one of the best performances of her lifetime. This duo so accurately portrayed, the relationship between these two people, the intricacies, the tension, the love, the guilt and the absolute devotion.

I had to go back and look at a biography of Leonard Bernstein, as I never knew these facts about him. Oh, how the times were different when you couldn't come out as gay. So many times you had to have a woman as a façade. Not only was this tragic for him, but it was tragic for his wife and the children. They did such a good job with this.

I wonder why they're not more movies like this. Good job everyone.

Nyad
(2023)

I was very hopeful and excited, but this was bad, very bad.
This was by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen on Netflix. Netflix, come on, you can do better. I honestly don't even know which component to pick a part, or what exactly contributed to the downfall of this movie. First of all, I think the premise is pretty interesting, as I remember this woman swimming back in the 70s. Of all the people, or of all the strong, lesbian women, I don't know if I would've chosen her as someone to whom to aspire. I don't think most people will know who she is, but they will now, so that is a good thing, and I do like to highlight women doing amazing things in our culture, that are probably overlooked by the main stream media, so I can kind of see it. But come on, were you really trying to highlight Nyad, or were you trying to just make a woke statement? Do we need more movies about women doing spectacular things? Yes. Do we need more movies about gay characters? Sure, why not. But I felt like I was being knocked over the head with a woke theme stick.

The cinematography was pretty good, and I did like the look back scenes of her into childhood, and all of the horrific things that happened to her, that probably created the person she was, so determined, even in spite of serious adversities.

Oh, the music, I've always found my music is a terribly important component to any movie. The soundtrack is critical in invoking emotions from the viewer. The music in this was so awful. I think they picked three top songs from that era and just threw it in there. It just didn't fit, so whoever chose the music did not do a good job. Are they good songs? Yes. But they didn't fit with this movie.

I also think the writing could have been better. It is so poorly written. I think it would've been better to highlight how and why she wanted to compete on such a level versus showing her flailing away in the water the whole time. It just didn't feel right.

Now here comes the kicker. The acting was so god awful. I actually thought at one point I was just being punked. Annette Bening and Jodie foster perhaps contributed to the downfall of this movie. I've never seen such a bad acting in my life. I even played a little bit of it for a friend and they just started laughing. I really honestly think that if Netflix started to choose, fresher faces, not meaning in age, but not recycled actors over decades and decades, it may have made it with a better script. But this acting felt like a 1980s sitcom. And, I love Annette Bening. Jodie Foster, meh. She's never been that good. But I have loved Annette Bening for so long, so I'm very sad that she chose this role.

I have noticed, however, over the past few years at the quality of what Hollywood puts out is so poor. The streaming channels just turn out crap after crap after crap. But it's not all crap, half of it is brilliant, but this was a stinker.

I watched all of it just to sit here in amazement at how bad it was, and to see if there was any glimmer of hope as the movie progressed, but no, there was nothing redeeming about this.

Save yourself some time and choose something else. Netflix you can do better. Jody and Annette, you can do better.

Beef
(2023)

Essentially the best Netflix TV show ever
This is not going to be the typical review, because I'm simply not a professional reviewer, but I can say I'm a connoisseur of very top quality films and TV shows, and this has to be by far the most profound in moving and thought-provoking series I have ever seen, and now in my top 10.

The cast was out of this world. Steven should win some type of award for this. He is primo actor...a REAL actor with real acting talent. And Ali, what? I only know her from stand-up comedy. Great job! The rest of the cast was amazing too, but obviously, the starring characters really made it exceptionally great.

I'm known to give a spoiler alerts, so, without giving any spoiler alerts, I will say that this movie showed two characters, so deeply entrenched in loneliness, and needing a real connection in the world, and when they found with each other, even though I'm a very unusual way. Throughout the series, I was moved the entire time, where I just simply had to binge watch it on a Sunday. It's very rare that some thing like this comes out, most everything that I attempt to watch is very underwhelming. This one left me with my mouth open. I couldn't believe someone wrote something this beautiful, and then found actors to bring it to life. Great job everyone. Please Netflix give us more TV shows like this. This can make anyone feel deep feelings, even within themselves. Oh, and by the way, being a generation X female, the soundtrack was rad. I had to use my Shazam to figure out who is singing so I could add it to my playlist, so thank you for that, music really can make a big difference.

Root Cause
(2019)

Of course, this is a good movie, and finally something highlights the danger of one of the most pointless surgical procedures out there.
Anyone who voted this one, is definitely an endodontist or a dentist., And we know there are a lot of them out there. The people who gave it a 10 are all the patients who have been damage by root canal or leaving a dead tooth that is festering bacteria in the body. I have known hundreds if not, thousands of people who have had a but bad side effects from a root canal, and sometimes it goes on forever like in this story, and nobody even knows what's going on until they go to someone who understands the whole body, and how these dangerous toxic teeth stay in the mouth. It's actually not saving a tooth. It's leaving a dead tooth in the head. For any other organ in the body, we remove it when it becomes diseased. I know it's hard to lose a tooth, but this movie provides a real life example of what can happen, leaving down a path of auto immune diseases, and other sicknesses. At one time everybody was using mercury and teeth, and everyone said, it's perfectly safe, the dental industry said oh, mercury is the best thing, now no one uses mercury Because it's toxic. Why did we ever put mercury in teeth? I think one day and endodontist will be a thing of the past. A root canal will no longer be something that anyone will want any longer. Endodontist make at least $2000 per root canal tooth, and they don't give informed consent to the people who get them. I really could relate to what this movies message was saying. And it says a lot when they try to remove it from Netflix. Why silence someone? Where did free-speech go? I guess it goes to the special interest of the endodontist and the dentists. Don't silence the truth. Watch this movie, because it is a good representation of what thousands if not millions of people have endured.

The Tutor
(2023)

Nice refreshing new plot with amazing new actors
I'm not quite sure what everyone else watched, but I thought I would check this movie out, even with the low ratings. I'm a huge movie buff, a cinephile, and I do love a very good suspense, horror film. This one I would rate a 10 out of 10. It was a nice twisty ride from beginning to end. I thought I was going to go in one direction and then the movie took me in a totally different direction. I love the acting and I love the plot and the entire cinematic look of the movie. I was quite surprised with the new actors on the scene and how great they were. I hope to see more of them in the future. I did get confused at a few points, but it all came together in the end. I would definitely watch this one over again. If you're looking for a really good thriller, suspense, horror, film, this is a primo one to watch.

Sam Now
(2022)

Thank you so much for this beautiful film.
Thank you so much for this beautiful film. It is so rare that someone makes a documentary so thought-provoking and moving. Just a think someone put in the effort to make a documentary that span 25 years. I was so drawn in and touched by the story. I myself of had a similar story. My mother was also adopted in the pain that can come along with that can manifest itself and so many different ways that has a trickle down effect to the children.

This journey was difficult and I could sense the pain, and I could feel the lasting affects of what their mother did to them. I am glad they took this journey and shared this story with all of us.

The filmmaking style was done impeccably and I liked some of the special effects and some of the music that was used within the film. I even use my Shazam to look up one of the songs they used. Everything just fit together like a perfect puzzle. I can see why this movie won many awards. And while I'm not as well spoken as a movie reviewer, I can tell you that I was emotionally moved by your story. Thank you for this.

Delicious toxicity
I'm pretty confused with the one star ratings. What did people expect... You're tuning into a reality show on TLC, so this is what you get. We all know that we cannot wait to watch one episode after the next of these ladies and their boyfriends. I'm not here to act as some type of therapist or some type of judgemental person, I am here because this is an entertaining show. No it's not gone with the wind or Shawshank redemption or even some type of 10 star drama, it's a reality show about two twins dating younger men. And let's not really focus on that, because throughout history older men have been dating younger women without comment. So this is not really a big deal for me. Yes they have low self-esteem, yes they have excessive plastic surgery, and yes they're extremely narcissistic, but their kids seem pretty cool. It's just overall very entertaining. Come on let's lay off of them a little bit and not judge them on their luxe. Let's just enjoy it for what it is. It's just reality TV. Isn't life difficult enough with all of the trauma going on daily in the news. Who wouldn't want to tune in to this? This is pure entertainment. Granted it's slightly toxic and strange, but so is life, so just take it for what it is and enjoy it. And remember they are people too and saw their children and saw their families, so there's no need to be so incredibly harsh. I think the show did a good job and I would watch season after season after season.

Felicity
(1998)

Absolute once in a lifetime perfection.
Absolute once in a lifetime perfection. I am a 55 year old woman and I would consider this as one of the top Gen X TV shows ever written. This is a once in a lifetime show that has yet to come along. This is why I keep going back and re-watching it every few years because it is simply magic. Why is it magic? The writing was absolutely brilliant the casting was spectacular and above all the acting by all of the characters was top notch.

I have honestly tried to find another show but even compares to this and there is just nothing. I'm re-watching it again for about the fifth time and it's amazing all over again and each time I watch it I discover little bits of magic every single time and I get sad when it's over because there is nothing else like it.

The three main characters, I would say were the best actors of the show, but all the supporting cast was amazing too. But the love triangle was spectacular. Seasons one through three were a 10 out of 10 season four was about a nine out of 10, but at the end of the day had the show kept going on year after year after year until their adulthood I would've watched it.

I would love to see them all come back and do another few seasons, because I would watch it. I love the dean and Deluca theme I love the college theme, the art themes the science themes the party themes the music, and above all I love that it was set in New York City.

I thought it was great how the writers wrote him amazing actors like John Ritter and others.

I would recommend this show anyone times 10. Please guys do a reunion or a couple more seasons. You are all amazing.

Homecoming
(2018)

Essentially one of the best anthology series I've ever seen.
How did I miss this show? It was sitting right there on Amazon prime and I just skipped past it thinking it was some type of military, aggressive and odd drama. Boy was I wrong. As soon as I press play on season one I was completely drawn in. It was one of the most unique TV series I've ever seen in my life and I am not young.

The story was very innovative, the acting was impeccable, The choreography in the feel of the TV series was dark and seductive. But I did point out a few things I thought were very interesting and that would be the music. This was not your basic soundtrack woven in to a TV show rather it was orchestral movements very carefully placed. No one usually ever talks about the music, but the soundtrack for this was very well done.

I also like the way they move from scene to scene. It just draws you in and create some type of addiction to this TV show. I am extremely picky about what I watch and this is definitely a 10 out of 10 if not a 12 out of 10. I am on season two now and it's also good, but I don't think it can rival with season one. But I do see the inter-connection.

Blonde
(2022)

This movie was fantastic - Way ahead of it's time.
I've been waiting for the release of this movie for quite some time. I assumed it would be another banal portrayal of Marilyn, but wow, was I wrong. I was pleasantly surprised with so many facets of this movie from the brilliant acting, the script, the camerawork, the cinematography and the pure rawness of the subject matter. The black and white film reel was so required.

I will be bold in saying I think the American public would simply not be ready for this type of movie. It's too real and raw. It does not follow the standard pattern of dull movies about Marilyn. It tore apart the top layer of skin and showed you directly inside her life.

I'd say this is the best real portrayal of Marilyn I've seen that delved into her childhood and upbringing, or lack thereof. It showed her father issues, how people used her, her self-esteem, drug usage and how she navigated through her life with her career, marriages, loss of children, etc.

I'm so so sad others did not feel this way.

I Used to Be Famous
(2022)

Finally a feel good movie with heart
Finally a movie that made me feel good and feel hope in the nation otherwise facing such adversity. Everything that is streaming seems to be so negative and aggressive. These are the types of movies we need.

The two main actors were very good and it's finally good to see new, fresh faces in this industry. I can actually see them going on and acting another films. I'm also very glad to see a young man on the spectrum and a starring role. He did an amazing job and he is a phenomenal musician.

Thank you for doing this movie, we need more like them. Congrats to the other actors who participated in this movie. They did an amazing job.
