The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie
(2005)

I disagree with some other users
While it is true that parts of this movie and television series are childish it is not as bad as some other users may say. The kids quite funny...even my cousins (who are all quite young) found that many of the jokes about "babes" and "rock" were very satirical. Coming from generations of rock loving family I know that this show can't be taken at face value. But rather much of it should be recognized as a jab at the side of "big business music" and the image it portrays.

For all of those people saying "it's disgusting and should never be witnessed" why not try getting a giggle out of it's intended satire instead of just bashing at the film....not to mention the young actors.

Batman Begins
(2005)

Amazing
This is the first movie I've really felt deserved a 10. The acting is amazing, the characters perfect and the plot line functioning. The entire story, including the full Bruce Wayne/Batman back-story are fully explained in a way that is both interesting and believable (if you are the kind of person that believes in billionaire superheros). Having nothing to do with any of the famous Batman bad-guys, the story focuses instead on Bruce's own demons and personal battles. The threat is a psycho-hallucinogenic drug that the villain is threatening to put into effect in order to destroy Gotham completely. This premise is both entertaining and realistic, and damn scary at some level. The introduction of the bat cave and the original bat-mobile were also very fun. I highly suggest that any true Batman fan see this movie immediately....YOU WILL LOVE IT!

The Phantom of the Opera
(2004)

Point of no return!!!
I was very much amazed by this film. After seeing the show on Broadway and falling in love with the stage production I had very high expectations for the movie interpretation. When I saw this I was floored. There was a real chemistry that one needs to see, and the phantom was not cheesy, but believable. I do however have one comment, I wish they could have found someone who could sing instead of having to dub most of the film. I realize that screen actors aren't always singers but I was a little concerned that they could have made a little more effort. Does anyone else agree that the phantom was very sexy pre-mask removal? The black and white portions showing the future were very creative, they delved further into the story, explaining what happened to the Phantom and Christine. And it's good to know that there was a happy ending...(I cried, and I don't cry very often)...so CHEERS to Phantom for it's wonderful adaptation from the state to the silver screen!!!!

Daddy Day Care
(2003)

Mixed Feelings
I've seen this movie a couple of times and I'm feeling rather mixed about it. On one level I have a new kind of respect for Eddie, seeing him in a nice family movie that I can show my baby cousins and still laugh at myself. However I also know that we've passed the point of no return on this one, we will never again see the strong 80's Eddie that we once loved. I suppose we should look at this as a new chapter in the career of one of America's funniest men, and while it is depressing I'm still slightly awed that Eddie is still on the scene. After several blundering movies and one very sorry attempt at singing stardom we find an enduring man who can in fact change with the times. So for all the Daddy DayCare bashers I think you should just be glad the our favorites Murphy man is still around.

Gravitation
(1999)

Love It
I absolutely love Gravitation. It's honestly sweet and human and in most ways, very believable. One of the only Anime with 100% authentic feeling. The music is a big plus as well, as is the writing. Givent I've never seen the English Dubbed version of this anime, but if it's half as good as the Original Japanese then I'm sure it's wonderful. Being that this is my favorite yaoi, I've only got good things to say about it, and though others are entitled to their opinion, to those who insult it for being either "stupid", "immoral" or "unnatural" can I just ask you to open your minds and watch it? You may really love it. Also, most fan's who watch it are in love with yuki and his bad boy ways, this is not me, personally I prefer Ruichi in all of his childish glory.
