9/10 What a fantastic movie and script change from the same old regurgitated variations of exorcism/possession movies. This was soooooooo much better than I expected. And in my opinion, is only bested by The Exorcist. If you're looking for edge of your seat entertainment, this is it. Another homerun by Shudder Originals. Thank you for reading my review. This movie is so much more than what the low ratings on here depict. Viewers that gave this movie a 6 or higher, watched it and followed the dialogue. All the 1 ratings, are from viewers that wanted a cheap thrill or didn't pay attention and nothing more. There's one review near the top of this page that gave a 10/10 described the film perfectly. Though I'm a little more picky when it comes to ratings movies. I will say this about Nymphomaniac Vol.1 & Vol.2. If your stuck on which versions to buy or watch, go with the theatrical cut. It keeps the movies flowing and keeps you engaged in the story. By the end, they will leave you in awe. But, if your interest is in seeing all of her other subjects and the scenes involved, buy the uncut version. There are scenes and dialogue in this movie that (if you pay attention) make you think outside the box and maybe hurt your brain a bit. These movies are fantastic and kudos to the actors that saw the beauty and details in the script and played their roles to perfection. This movie is NOT one you put in while doing anything else. 5.8/10 This movie is much better than you'd think. But only if you're a fan of the 80's style cornball comedy genre. If not, you'll probably hate it. It covers a lot of the stereotypes associated with trailer parks and residents. The timing on the quips delivered and everyone in the movie just goes on acting not missing a beat without laughing takes talent alone. Thomas Ian Nicholas, Lulu Jovovich and most of the supporting cast played their parts very well. If you're a fan of CGI when it first came out, or enjoy terrible CGI, this film is it. Everyone says the original is better. I've never seen it, but I'm very excited for it to show up in the mail. This was a great movie and I recommend seeing it. I will post my update info on this review once I've seen the original.

6.8 First off, this version is not of the same caliber as the original. But...... I found it to be original and very humorous at times. What it lacks from the original is the consistent dark lighting throughout, with that feeling the Predator is right around the corner. The casting and actors were superb. Thomas Jane, Olivia Munn, and the rest of the cast have a comedic argument over something uttered, that I'm sure is in some part was something that has happened to Shane Black personally. And I give him credit for finding the humor in it. Though many on here rip on Black, I like all of his movies. Writing this version of the movie HAD to be a passion project. Considering he was the first person to die in the original film decades ago. Me personally, I enjoyed this version of The Predator movie series and look forward to seeing the next installment. If you're a fan of either one of the movies listed above or even a MOH or ADH movie fan, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy this fun movie. The acting was good, the story was interesting, and the blood looked like boysenberry pancake syrup. But considering the obvious low budget, I think they pulled it off. And the title they used was pretty clever. If you don't read the movie description, you'll see what I mean. If you happen to have this movie in the unwatched stack, or you find it in the local cheap bin, give it a watch.

7.8 I really don't understand the negative reviews posted here. It's safe to say they either weren't paying attention, or they just weren't in the mood for this type of film. I am a HUGE movie fan and collector. And I love almost all genres and types of films. The cast, story, directing, everything was fantastic!!! Worth watching!

5.6. I understand the 1 ratings as well as the 10's. If watching Harriet for movie entertainment, I give it a solid 8.5. As for being a historical biography......I give it a 2.5. I must say that the acting was superb from everyone involved. It's definitely worth watching, but don't have your children that are still learning our nation's history use this movie on a school report. Have them read the books about Harriet Tubman's life. I've grown through the years watching Pokemon and living the Pokemon experience with all my children. It seems to me that many people look for a reason to bash a movie based on race, religion, politics, etc. If you can watch this with the understanding that it's just a movie without an agenda, I think you'll enjoy it. The casting was great and the three main characters (which I've never seen before) did a phenomenal job in their roles. I look forward to seeing each of them as their careers go forward. And I cannot forget to give credit to the evil Skeletor character. He gave me the creeps within the first 10 seconds he appeared. Well done!!!! Though many reviews on here see this movie as being racially oppressive or biased. I saw it as Good vs. Evil. And I found it better than many prequels to other movies. 7.4/10. I'm not sure why there are so many terrible reviews for this movie. I'm assuming that the 1 & 2/10 reviews are submitted by people that do not watch a lot of movies, or have only seen major film productions. I'm not one to usually write a review. But when I see an injustice in the overall opinions and ratings, I find myself needing to post mine. Everything from the actors, director and all others involved with "Walled In" did a superb job. As a first time watch on dvd I gave it 7.4. If I decide in 3-6 months to watch it again entirely, I'll upgrade my rating. Thank you for reading and enjoy the movie. 7.9 Hands down, one of the best new horror movies I've seen in a long time. Being a HUGE fan of the horror genre, I always hope for that one no name cast movie that surprises me... THIS is definitely it. From beginning to end you never know what's coming. If you're not riveted to the screen, I don't what to say. And a big kudos to writers, directors, producers, makeup dept, cast and everyone else involved in this. I'm pretty sure we will see many of these new faces more often after the performances they gave here. I don't understand how this movie wasn't the talk of the town during Halloween season 2019. If you want to be scared going to a haunted house during Halloween season, I suggest you watch this as a primer to set the mood before you go. I hope you all enjoy this masterpiece as much as I did. American Ultra is a worthwhile watch. Has an all star cast packed with action and comedy. Could have been a higher rating, but I just couldn't do it because one if the smaller supporting cast members character and dialogue just deflated my balloon every time he spoke. I personally enjoyed the movie when it was on premium cable over a decade ago. It has a great cast and the effects aren't as bad as some described, in my opinion. I liked it enough to buy the dvd after I saw it and watch it now and then. It wasn't superb. But it isn't as bad as some of these reviews. I am a fan of most genres and if I'm entertained for an hour or two, then it's not a waste of my time. Just an fyi, I also enjoyed Battlefield Earth and own it as well. Great movie with an all star cast. Simple story about a dysfunctional family and it's only 1:15:00 without the credits. Short, simple, entertaining and no wasting time with footage that wasn't needed. They got it right.

My entire family enjoyed this movie from the first time we saw it. I have 6 children and at the time this came out, I had 4 old enough to understand it. ZOOM is funny and entertaining for a kids superhero movie. And all the actors were funny and entertaining. The great part is, with it being a superhero movie, it doesn't contain the violence and scary villains like most others. And every new young one that comes over and sees it immediately says...... I know Captain Zoom's voice from somewhere. Within a few minutes they get all excited starting he's Buzz Lightyear. I am a Movie Freak! rUaMovieFreak2

Ok 6.7. It's a good movie with Mike Starr, who in my opinion, has always been completely underrated as an actor. Along with an ensemble of very good and convincing female actors. The only thing I can say is....the bad reviews are from genre biased individuals and trashed the movie because it wasn't their kind of movie. (Or possibly watched it when not in the mood for this kind of film). I enjoy every genre out there. As long as I'm entertained. The cinematography is outstanding and I truly felt the pain that the Ronnie was going through. If you're looking for a good movie that takes up less than an hour and a half to watch. I say watch it. I'm not one to rip apart someone's vision in writing and making a movie. But........it ended with me wondering if my dvd skipped the final chapter. Started out with good acting and just made me scratch my head at the end. It could have been a solid 7. But they dropped the ball in the end. I rarely say this.....don't watch the movie because the end is so disappointing. rUaMovieFreak2☹

This movie was way better than any expectations I had. It took your average spy movie and threw in so many twists and turns it kept you guessing the entire time. Great writing, casting, directing, producing, and acting by all involved. My only advice is... make sure you have the time to watch this action packed thriller without interruption. If you pay attention to the entire movie, you will not be let down with the results. I'm hoping they make a sequel. And if you didn't like it, watch it again. Because you missed something along the way.

I gave an 8/10 because it was my first time watching it. If I watch it again and enjoy it the same or better, I'll rate 9/10. And of course there's always the chance that it falls into the 2X or more a year watch list. Only time will tell if this superb movie will follow only a few others on my 10/10 list. And a little about me.... I'm a HUGE fan of movies and own over 26,000+ blu ray/dvds. And I don't give many reviews. But when I see a movie that's great, and other fans/collectors like myself that I know feel the same way about a certain movie that the BIG movie critics tear down, I feel obligated to give my opinion. There are so many great movies that don't do well at the box office because some critics aren't in the mood for that kind of movie that day, tired, overworked, paid for their opinion, or just just not a true fan of all movies and genres. And because of those critics that have their opinion in print and on tv, many movie goers pass up an opportunity to see a great film on the big screen to find out years later from other fans it was worth the price of admission. And now they can hopefully still see it on their tv at home.

Wow! What a fantastic comedy. Superb story with great casting and directing. If you're a comedy lover, and a fan of Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen or both of them, this is the perfect movie for you. I was pulled in within the first 5 minutes of the film. I honestly can't say the last time I watched a movie that had this many laughs. Just a side note...I own a massive collection and have only given 9/10 on seven comedies. If you're not a fan of Rogen or Theron and still watch it. I am curious as to your opinion. A friend of mine that is not a Seth Rogen fan gave it an 8/10.

All I gotta say is....Wow!!! Looking for new original horror? The Autopsy of Jane Doe is most definitely it. I guarantee it will go into your top 10 first time watches for new horror. This movie has you glued from the opening scene till the end.

As a huge movie fan of all genres, I have to say well done to Eli Roth and the cast of The Green Inferno. The one thing about his movies.... you either love them or hate them. As for myself, I see what his vision is in his work and I enjoy his movies very much. The movie had a good story (great setup at the beginning for the near end) that had all the great gory cringing blood and violence you would expect it to have, and a great surprise twist at the end. I'm not sure the people that gave this movie a low rating really watched it. Definitely worth watching in my opinion.

Becky joking about her mother's prescription being the only thing that she wanted. Not funny at all. The canned laughter made me even more upset. What sick people thought it was funny and gave it the ok? Shame on everyone involved in making and acting on the show. Not one person involved thought about standing up and saying "This line is wrong on soooo many levels. Since when is the number one epidemic hurting our country and our youth funny?
