Super Mario Bros.
(1993)

If you love Mario then you will hate this movie.
I really have a fondness for this film. For me it's just a guilty pleasure. I know it has little to nothing to do with the Mario franchise, I know it's objectively a botched movie, it's also majorly flawed in terms of content, and I know it's a very strange mix of Humor and drama has transitions that are far too difficult.

But I think these little flaws are exactly why I enjoy watching this film. Because I just find it entertaining and can enjoy the good, the bad and the ugly things.

And yes, there are good things as well, it's action-packed, it's very creative. The city looks really unique, I see the influence of Mad Max and Blade Runner, but it is still recognizable as a city in its own right. There are also some very good worldbuilding elements. For example, all cars are electric because there are no fossil fuels in this world, King Cooper has this attitude because it comes from the Trex... And I take my hat off to the brilliant idea of making the two stupid henchmen smarter. In every film, the henchmen are Laurel and Hardy like. This is funny for the viewer, but counterproductive for the evil regime.

And that's a clever idea. That they are made smarter so that they don't mess up anymore. But once the henchmen are smart, they have betrayed the bad guy and turned to a good guy.

This is a very great reversal of that formula and also a great message for such a silly children's film.

But despite all the nostalgia, love and praise, I can't ignore the bad things, like the fact that the Goomba are uglier than Resident Evil Zombie, they gave some actors a colorful T-shirt and then said, this is character XY, Which conspiracy theory regarding dinosaurs and parallel dimensions does not appear in this film?

The film is very detailed and has a lot of Easter eggs, but a lot of details don't make a film and a lot of grimaces don't make a character.

The movie has a lot of Easter eggs from the Mario franchise, but it's like plastering myself with Italian symbols and flags and then claiming I'm Italian, there are a lot of push up breasts and deep cleavage in this film, you can at least hear swear words in the German dub and it has a weird, dirty undertone the whole time, like all the Dan Schneider sitcoms.

What triggers me personally is that me and Luigi wear their costumes too little and too late in the film.

Nevertheless, this film always strikes me as being in perfect balance.

The movie isn't good, but I can't be mad at you.

Joker
(2019)

If the primary goal was to polarize, then bravo.
It's really difficult for me to rate this film because I can't get used to it. To learn a backstory about the Joker. The Joker is such a fascinating character precisely because we know nothing about him. The mystery is what makes it so interesting, although on the other hand I have a soft spot for the first half of Rob Zombie's Halloween.

So actually I think it's pretty inappropriate that this movie is even called Joker because it has very little to nothing to do with the DC character.

I don't see any problem with that. I actually like it when films give more independence. But since everyone is comparing it to other comic book movies, especially other Batman movies, I'm wondering if it's the lights or if the writers really focused on that, because then I have to rate this movie differently.

As a comic book film I think it's mediocre and as a Batman film or Joker film I think it's even bad. But what is the film like as a whole?

Honestly, I think this film is mediocre. Everything is mediocre, apart from Joaquin Phoenix's brilliant acting, nothing stands out, the camera work, the music, the implementation, the visuals, none of it gave me a real wow moment. (And that's exactly what I didn't like) In fact, this incarnation is easily considered the most tragic of all, as he is one of the few versions to have a detailed backstory that makes him sympathetic.

Likewise, this is one of the very few incarnations of the Joker that is depicted as showing mercy when he spares Gary for treating him well. Thus, he is one of the few versions that doesn't bother killing others for the sake of chaos.

The idea with the hallucinations was really good and I speculated several times during the film about what could be real and what wasn't. That was a clever idea.

And the twist that the mother herself is mentally ill and had imagined a lot of things herself and that that ultimately got the ball rolling, which caused her son to be so pampered, was also quite good, but for that, well, I don't know. That just seemed far too late and too little to me. At many points in the film I was simply left hungry and unsatisfied.

I liked the beginning and I liked the look of 80's New York.

But what I absolutely hate about this film and what I think should be changed is the editing. Many scenes were just way too long for me, which is why I was really bored halfway through the film, and it was the ending that upset me the most because there were 3 scenes where, in my opinion, you should make a cut straight away, ideally a fade to black and that would have been the perfect ending to this film. Even though I have to praise the imagery in many places. However, since the film has such a slow pacing and your missing is so drawn out. Has previous scenes, even that has been watered down at the end. As already mentioned, the cramped connection to the Batman mythos is disturbing in this case and feels like a foreign body. It would have been enough to simply call this film Joker and one could have made up their own minds about it, especially since the film is a rip off of "King of Comedy" anyway. It wouldn't have bothered me at all, but the constant cutting back to the Wayne family. That really went too far for me. Above all, he also meets the young Bruce Wayne and we have to see Bruce Wayne's parents being shot again for the 100th time. That really made me vomit in anger.

Hook
(1991)

It's a typical opium film. The Mega is fun to watch, but afterwards you don't get the power from front to back.
Another typical 90's movie with a workaholic father who doesn't care enough about his family and especially his children and is converted in the end through the adventure of becoming a family man again.

I know this is a cult film so it's hard to criticize the film without pissing people off.

But it's just as hard to find anything good about this film.

I find the idea of an adult Peter Pan interesting, but it struggles with realistic appeal. Mainly because in the beginning it is presented as if Peter Pan is just a fairy tale, just a story, even with real books. Written about it, but is old Mrs. Wendy the Wendy Darling from the fairy tale?

I don't really like that the film has its own appeal and visual style, but so do so many others at times. Now, allusions to the Disney movie and the other movies as well, does that mean all of this takes place in the same universe?

Robin Williams playing an adult Peter Pan is such a unique and brilliant idea. It really is the perfect casting. But unfortunately he is. Much of the film is just sad, calm and depressed.

A very visually stunning film, but some scenes are a little too long.

Maybe the movie would be better if we started with Neverland right away.

I think this movie is a great thing for kids because it has so many things that kids love, it's right and it's over the top. There are so many child actors that Al just fools around and fights pirates. By kicking his butt or throwing things at you. There's a dance party, there's a food fight, etc. And I could put myself into it and, even as an adult, I had a lot of fun watching it.

And the costumes. The costumes are just awesome, they almost surpass the scenery. It's like living in a theater world.

But despite all the praise, there are unfortunately also a few points of criticism.

Firstly, the sound is of course the children's film, but you still have an emotional whiplash here and there because there are also quite dark and violent scenes. People are stabbed, shot or otherwise injured. The film was originally planned as a musical and it shows, but I doubt I would have liked to see it. In some places the characters say quite inappropriate and vulgar things.

Tinkerbell was already in love with Peter Pan in the original, but here she scales up to make out with him and also wants to seduce him? I just think that's sick. All scenes in the real world are terribly boring.

I'm glad that while it's fun and games, the film doesn't undermine its message and the responsibility of growing up. Because at the end of the day, Peter Pan has started a family, and with that he has a job to do.

But you notice Steven Spielberg's typical talents That the film is so cute. Has a candy-sweet atmosphere, the scene transitions are buttery smooth, there are good match cards and the movie is good despite that. Alban still exciting just want to know what's next? So the end, actually the last short film with the flying grandpa, was a bit messed up because the boundaries between reality and fantasy are now blurring and it's difficult for me to understand when and where this film is set, or in which dimension. Would have left it open-ended just seeing how happy the man was. That would have been enough, but everyone else looks totally surprised and happy that someone flies out of the blue and they fly during the day? To the London sky? Ouch!

Raiders of the Lost Ark
(1981)

Mega iconic character, mega iconic entry, mega iconic movie.
It's a movie that just has so much going on from start to finish and just never gets boring. The film is really exciting, action-packed and funny, but by no means overloaded. This is a typical Crowd pleaser. The film has something for action fans for adventure fans for fans of historical films also for people who like Kissy-romance films there is something here and I don't think there is anyone in the world who could say anything against Harrison Ford.

The only thing that gets a little weird and really embarrassing with each sight is simple. This Marianne. Indiana accuses him that she was a child when he seduced her and since he knows the story behind it, yes it's awkward, but luckily he doesn't get that much attention for it. However, I find his reaction a bit uncomfortable, he accuses her of knowing from the outset what she is getting herself into.

Thank goodness it's just a drop in the bucket of such a great movie that always gets blamed. Indiana Jones herself would not have had any influence on the film's plot. That's not true, because if you think about it, he made sure of that in the end. All these Nazis are running to their own doom because of all these tricks and all these problems that Indiana Jones makes, that's why the Nazis end up getting curious and immediately open the ark of the covenant and that's why they end up dying, because if they had it by plane after brought to berlin, they would have arrived there on time and. I'm sure they would have used that thing as a weapon instead of opening it and Indiana Jones in turn delayed them for destroying their airport. And even if they did, he had no impact on Indiana Jones. He killed so many Nazis and Nazi sympathizers with this trip that he caused great damage to the Third Reich in the long run.

But I digress, what I also love about this film is the character of Marianne. I like that she's a real roughneck and not just a daffodil. It's not depressive stress. Although she manages not to defeat anyone, she still does something. She actively tries to escape every time and manages to do so. And she also has some really smart ideas that she's trying to bring onto his gun.

Hollywood these days is trying to hook and crook in three dimensions. Emancipated women who write characters just watch this movie and you know that not every woman has to pick 10 villains with her pinky. It is enough if the woman is smart and behaves accordingly. Or at least do something and not just sit on her fat ass until the big strong man comes and saves her. And even if that's her job, it's enough if you constantly shed tears of joy.

All the supporting characters are so great, exciting and also really scary. I could really talk about this movie for 10 days and I'm not done yet. I could watch this movie a hundred times and every time I see something new in the background which I love about it. This is truly a film that got it right.

Objectively considered. There may be better or more professional films out there, but Indiana Jones definitely lives up to the hype.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
(1984)

So it's still Indiana Jones.
It's the most controversial and polarizing film of the entire series, because a lot of things didn't add up with this film either. And as far as I've heard, Spielberg didn't really like this film either.

Well, I personally think it's great because it's something different, but it still feels like Indiana Jones. I saw this one the most when I was a kid and for years I didn't understand why so many people put down this film. Now it's growing up, I can understand it. I still think this film is super good.

In general, I prefer to see the one I see here than many other current Hollywood films because I can't think of a film that's so bizarre and has such tonal breaks and is still mainstream.

First and foremost because of Harrison Ford, who without a doubt makes a fantastic Indiana Jones and even short round I find entertaining.

There are just so many little moments that I like. Which is why I can't be mad at the film. There isn't anything about this film that I find bad or hate in any way. And I have to say. I don't like to take violence against children the wrong way, I don't want children to suffer. But I like that she's shown that, like that that you can really see People are in danger and I also like that the camera is pointed at them. You see all these emaciated slave children, you see them being beaten and whipped and this one child crying and praying to be killed, then you know for sure. Now the punk is going on here, people have nothing to smile about , these are people who need help, and it's also good that a mainstream film shows that you are really shown what kind of suffering is happening there.

From a film point of view, I only have 2 things to blame, namely this villain Mola Ram, he suddenly appears out of nowhere and you don't really know what your plan is and the plot seems so thrown back and forth, they are suddenly there , then suddenly they are there. You just get thrown into the plot all of a sudden. Thrown in and there's no ongoing plot. It's arbitrary to me. I think if you had to focus on that English aristocrat as a villain, that would have worked a bit better and then he'll be taken over by the Mola Murdered Ram and then he went on. But you can't have everything.

Asterix in America
(1994)

It's like watching your laundry go through the spin cycle, there's a lot of movement, you can hear something, but it doesn't matter.
This movie is a double edged sword for me, the animation is a bit better here. However, the film is so meaningless and irrelevant.

The character design isn't anything special either. This sausage-lipped senator just looks like a real typical cartoon henchman and Cesar doesn't look like a human in this film, but like the typical cardboard villain who also laughs devilishly and rubs his hands. Make plans. All of this has nothing to do with Asterix as I got to know it The other audio track is the Schwörerdeutsch dub, everyone's talking, hip-hop slang and jive, that's such a weird idea.

But there are worse things. What I find worse is that the film gets really boring in the middle because nothing happens. The thing with the Indians could be interesting, especially since they don't understand the language, but nothing is done about it either. It's such an unpredictable, run-of-the-mill cartoon. The one that just doesn't exist.

Astérix: Le domaine des dieux
(2014)

An all-round successful film.
I'm pleasantly surprised at how good this film is. I didn't really feel like it at first, because now everything is computer-animated and I really miss hand drawn animation. But this is where the film makes the best of it. He looks great. The story is fitting, it's also a movie that deals with the strengths and weaknesses of the Asterix universe. And sometimes uses his entire staff.

I like the subplot with the Romans and the slaves, also this small Roman family that wants to move in there and so on and that not all Romans are portrayed as nasty villains, but as real people, a couple of them have absolutely no idea about the war and just want to live their lives. The slaves are presented as real people and in the end decide to continue working there if they are paid decently and get real food for people et cetera it's so awesome someone really sat down and thought about how we can do it in such a multifaceted way make possible? And he did everything right.

Even little details like that Asterix's feathers on his helmet are translucent and they still move so hilariously like they're all cartoon characters. And that's despite the fact that a lot is at stake in this film isn't so exaggerated So, there are no global threats, it's still just this little Gallic village.

And here's a film that really cleans up its story. Here the status quo is thrown around and broken up at the beginning of the film. And that takes quite a bit of work and all the rest of the film time until the status quo is (almost) restored.

Astérix et Cléopâtre
(1968)

Bad character, but a beautiful nose
Undoubtedly a significant improvement over the last one, despite only being released a year later. That was unimaginable, especially at the time.

I also like the gags with the translations they contain. They are unique, especially in German, where there is also a dialect soundtrack.

It always bothered me as a kid that they sing in this film, but now as an adult I can relate to the songs. Especially the level of silliness.

I always tip my hat to the translators' ideas and rhymes and how funny this film is, it just puts you in a good mood right from the start. In German, Cleopatra has a somewhat annoying voice, it's so shrill, so squeaky. It hurts a bit in the ear and because she also screams a lot throughout the movie, it's hard to take. But that actually makes them suitable as a threat.

All of the characters come off pretty well here, and this is a film that makes good use of its staff. Only the architect who built the pyramids and the temple falls behind a bit, he seems far too incompetent and boring to me, which is why I sometimes wondered why he even had this job. But I can overlook that. Suspension of Disbelief.

Astérix le Gaulois
(1967)

I would only give all versions 6 out of 10, but the second German dubbed version is your 7
For me, this film is a guilty pleasure. You can see that the film is low budget, so it probably had the budget of half a salami sandwich, and it was produced in a hurry, like a TV movie that suddenly got big and then went to the cinema, which it did, like me. Today was it really true Of course, it's a bit difficult for me to rate this Film because I saw it in German and it has the German 2 different dubs, one normal and one with a dialect, the normal soundtrack is a bit controversial because it was translated half-heartedly, but I likes them. The dialect soundtracks are quite ok, although only the Gauls speak with dialect, but the second synchronous one, which came out a little later in the eighties, that's the real highlight, that's a hundred times funnier. She has so many jokes and puns. And introduced a couple of little things and Easter Eggs, which are still in German usage today, as well as the one with the woodworm dealer.

The synthesizer music doesn't quite fit, but I can still get something out of the Film, so I have to say I like this film and can only recommend it to anyone who even remotely likes Asterix.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
(2015)

At the end there's an Epic Rap Battles of History pretty cringe.
All trailers and marketing are a sham. Spongebob doesn't leave the surface until the last 10 minutes of the movie and? It's not even the focus of the whole movie.

I'm glad that we don't have the typical fish out of water jokes that first have to explain the world to them or that they misunderstand typical everyday objects? I still feel like I'm being made fun of.

Knowing that the first film takes place at the very end of the franchise makes it difficult to get into this film because you know from the start that everything that happens here in the series will be sorted out at the end, given the status quo needs to be restored, which is actually also said at the end of the film.

But that's not a bad thing, it can even be an advantage, because it allows the creators to go completely off the rails and pack whatever they want, as long as everything sounds like it's going in the end. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen that way all.

The animation quality is TV level, the grimaces and crazy moves aren't as extravagant as in the last film. Even the jokes are all jokes, which is what I would expect from the series. That's good or bad now, especially in the period Where it took place, the series wasn't exactly up. Its qualitative high performance. However, Stephen Hillenburg was on board again here and made Spongebob. As we know and live him.

Still, I think it's a bit of a shame that other than the fact that Spongebob and Plankton are a team, there's absolutely nothing in here that we haven't already seen in the series. Nothing new, even the jokes are. Not that new, and I don't just mean for athletes, but for cardboard boxes in general, so that means I've never seen a post-apocalyptic world. The characters live under water, we have to go to the surface, got I've never seen it either. It's. Everything. Goes haywire and now we're living in a world like Mad Max Wow, I've never seen that before. There's a time travel plot wow, I've never seen that either and it could go on like this all day. Everything in this film feels. After a deja vu.

And all major laboring problems are eaten up after a few minutes. In general, the whole plot is a 5-minute problem, because Spongebob could resolve the whole conflict between him and Mr. Crabs if he had told him directly that Plankton didn't steal the Krabby Patty formula, but it disappeared on its own. But .You build a time machine and you can do it in 5 minutes. You will meet the dolphin Bubbles, the guardian of the universe. And that's over after 5 minutes and so on. The whole thing with Burger Bart is better and the film would have worked a lot better if it had met Spongebob right from the start and put stones in his path. But no. They meet way too late and. So much....

The whole film is a drawn out TV episode but doesn't tell the plot. It's in a 3 act structure. And yet it feels kind of long. It only lasts an hour and 33 minutes.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie
(2004)

I'm a goofy goober
Spongebob set the bar high with his first film and I have to say he doesn't disappoint.

The animation had made a mega leap forward. I like that the movie actually focuses on the story and that it's not a lengthy episode, it's really a real movie with a plot structure as opposed to the series, which is really what this is about.

It's just a good children's series for in between, but it's a movie and I think it's great that Spongebob actually leaves his comfort zone, that Bikini Bottom is leaving and that he. Even rises to the surface. And in fact almost everyone has characters to do something with.

The only downside is that the film relies far too much on comedy at times and there are a lot of montages where the characters just make crazy faces. But on the other hand, I have to say that I like the message and don't find it interesting that Spongebob is really confronted with his flaws, which is that he's just super childish.

And I find it interesting that his weakness is turned into a strength here, so that he has achieved his goal despite having children, but only at the end when it counts. To be a man. Or deal with it. Dealing with the fact that he lost his childhood made his day. It's a bit out of hand, it's kind of a deus ex machina, but the number is so brilliant and such a great rock number. I love it.

Pitch Perfect
(2012)

it's dragged out a bad icarly episode
Yes, it's very difficult for me to rate the thing because I hadn't finished watching this film either, but if I voluntarily decide to watch the film during the film, I regret this decision so much that I break off the film prematurely that speaks volumes too.

Every 20 minutes i left the room to do something else i don't usually do that in movies but in general it's very difficult for me to get involved the characters were too strange for me i hardly liked anyone why doesn't the protagonist do movies it's kinda weird The acapella aspect didn't bother me at all, but I still kind of missed the emotions and I also find them kind of uncomfortable to have so much sex and adult jokes here on the one hand it's child-friendly with the crowbar and on the other hand this one perverse humor i feel like i'm back in your one of the worse danschneider series.

Invincible
(2021)

I like it, but ...
Your super cool series that I can recommend to everyone and that does a lot of things right, above all turning the superhero genre upside down or at least reshuffling the cards, I'll just list the things that the series does wrong.

1. Time flies on the show I never noticed it, if it wasn't said all the time I wouldn't have guessed that the first season was within a year because you have absolutely no sense of time here with all the hospital stays and how the characters develop, if you had asked me, I would have assumed from the beginning that it would take a maximum of two months.

2. Amber is an unlikable character who I absolutely disliked from the middle of the series and every scene with her got on my nerves terribly. I even wished at times that she would be written out of the series entirely or just die.

3. I bought the comics, although the original template doesn't play a role purely for this review, but I noticed that basically they both do the same thing, I find Amber implemented much better in the comic and a lot more likeable than I do here in the series.

4. The drawing style is a bit strange it just seems like some Saturday morning cartoon from the start 5. The computer generated graphics stand out and don't blend in well with the backgrounds 6. The explosions are clearly digital, which I don't think is a bad thing, but when even the backgrounds are so digital, especially during the flight scenes, I always scratch my head 7. Mark's racing animation is the last one so that's the only thing in the series that really looks bad from start to finish 8. The music is hit and miss the parts songs and generally the background music is really like a coin toss.

9. The only tension in the series is the mystery of Omniman. What you only find out in the last episode and then the secret isn't even such a huge deal, at least not the revelation strong enough to justify waiting eight episodes.

10. The love stories in all my films and series have never interested me and the comics are the same here in invincible it was the same again that didn't bother me from the start I was glad that Mark found a girlfriend but it worked for me from the beginning just like the annoying girlfriend who nags every now and then and in the end you will still tell her that she is a superhero from the beginning and that her actions and statements are even more superfluous.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
(2010)

It's absolutely sickening
It took me three tries to watch this movie and I've only just finished halfway through it. Actually, I want to give every film a fair chance and it's actually not my way of not watching a film to the end and still evaluating it, but I think if I have voluntarily decided to watch a film and then I revise this decision again in the meantime so much so that I break off the film then that speaks volumes then that is also a form of criticism normally I always fight my way through but when I eat a burger that is half eaten and because it tastes so gross despite my hunger I myself to decide not to continue eating it is also a form of criticism that the fish ordered and the meat given has a reason to complain.

I didn't like the things I saw in this film, I found the idea very interesting, I never read the book so I don't know how well it was adapted and how much was changed, but that's not the point I'm just concentrating on the film and this film have so many connection errors, continuity errors and generally so many things that were not thought through or only half thought through that I could hardly have fun and that just annoyed me.

But I think this film makes the worst the absolutely worst thing your medium can do and that is the reason why I give this rating this film is boring every time I turned it on my ass cheeks fell asleep and I honestly said I kept asking me why do I keep watching that I almost didn't feel like watching any more and kept doing something different because you have a film about the Greek mythology that takes place in the modern city and you are not interested in it for 5 minutes wake up that is by far the worst thing a film can do and that's why I give it the lowest rating, that's the first film of a life that has not offended me on all levels of humanity, because I still give it the lowest rating, I believe it gives a first time for everything.

Star Wars
(1977)

Talking about Star Wars is a lot more fun than watching the movies
So my main problem is simply that I don't like Star Wars, I know that it's a super iconic film series that has triggered a lot and a milestone in cinema history that has made Didi film world and films itself a quantum leap forward but I have to at the end of the day still give a review and unfortunately I have to say that I just don't like Star Wars even though I was allowed to watch the films as a child, it never appealed to me and I couldn't quite understand why it was such a huge hype. I even go so far and say that if I hadn't been encouraged by over 1000 people that I would probably have only seen one star wars film voluntarily to date. Of course, the weapon technology, the character design, and the costume design are so multifaceted and gigantic that it was not without reason that whole lexicons were filled with them, but I have to say that as a film it just doesn't really tell me it was not boring, but it's nothing what I would ever watch again voluntarily. it's the archetype of the hero's journey along with a generic fantasy story just catapulted into space

Voll normaaal
(1994)

In one sentence the film is rubbish
As far as I have heard, this is a German cult film, now if something like this is already considered a cult then I am in favor of us deleting our country. The west will be given to France, the east to Poland. Northern Germany will become the new Denmark. Again and again I give myself a jerk and let myself go to Comedies 1 and after less than three minutes I regret it, as always this film was a very special disappointment because it is quite limp on a technical basis but the content actually gave me a headache. I'm 17 years too old and 40 IQ points too intelligent for this stupid pee-kaka-puke humor. The main character is an unsympathetic antisocial maniac and a criminal. He's also caused so much damage and destruction throughout the film that I really wonder why he doesn't end up in jail and why the family bothered with him in the first place. The German philistine life that is this pastiche is too superficial and too boring to tell that it does not deserve the title film. And once again you can see that the FSK had absolutely no idea what it was doing because this film is clearly too dirty and vulgar for people under twelve to watch it in itself. Whether you find Tom Gerhardt funny is an open question, but getting him in three copies and depending on the character you don't know whether you should laugh or cry angrily or shoot at the TV angrily is a question for another time. It is without a doubt a bad movie, thankfully not one of the worst movies of my life but definitely the protagonist is one of the worst characters of all time Who is Jar-Jar Bings on crack and speed at the same time, has a crazy Assi language for them would laugh at him himself, use so many euphemisms and compare that you could fill a whole dictionary with it and speak such a crazy Assi-German that even Erkan and Stefan tell him to go down a level. The unbearable thing about the film, however, is clearly its destructive streak, which is portrayed as personable and lovable in this film and apparently even resonates with the female gender. My suspension of disbelief has never been abused so harshly. In addition, it is difficult for me to perceive a film as lust because so much goes to the dogs because at the end of the film 99% of the cast have a lot of damage both financially and physically and that is unjustified. Sometimes I feel sorry for the actors, a few others should have known what they are committed to, but otherwise I wish the plague on many of them

Jumanji: The Next Level
(2019)

A warm infusion from the first part, just in stupid + boring
Whereas the first film was still a real adventure film, this is just a cheap string of scenes, pictures, film sets and badly rimmed effects.

Before that, the video games and their clichés were put on the back burner, which was completely ignored in this part and I don't understand why. Because there was enough in both film and video games (in the 90s) to criticize and to put in as a joke

One-dimensional characters, villains whit exaggerated plans, badly rimmed graphics, animals moving in circles instead of having a real AI. Or the stereotypes of foreigners.

But no puff cake, the whole film is so empty and not saying as if you had taken 20 steps back. Everyone in the film is super annoying and super unpleasant, so I kept shouting "shut up" every 3 minutes. Everyone is telling the same jokes for almost an hour and a half, really, again and again. And I can't decide until the end of the film who's going to poke me more Danny DeVito or The Rock. What is Grandpa Eddi because has he Alzheimer? Is he demented? Is he stupid? Do you just pretend? What is he? At the end of the film they try to be really emotional and pseudo-philosophically too late. Also in this film I had no impression that what was at stake nor that the characters were really in danger but when Danny DeVito said growing old wasn't hell, I got the cold vomit. Movies should finally stop lying. sometimes the glass is half full and sometimes half empty but you shouldn't lie about the liquid in it.

But what I think is the worst thing is that the film made nothing of its premise. A lot of bad second parts have that they restore the status quo from part 1 and tell the same story again here it would have actually made sense and I also find it interesting that Spencer voluntarily goes to video games to be back in paradise but then it became Idea didn't finish and that's the worst. The film is a knock knock joke without a punchline

The bottom line is still a competence because film and he uses some film tricks but nothing really irritated me objectively, I give the film 3 out of 10 points, subjectively I give it a middle finger.

Tu xia chuan qi
(2011)

This is clearly China's answer to Kung Fu Panda
No matter if you know or ignore the film is still nothing half and nothing whole.

He has a nice carefree way, but he is optically so mediocre and meaningless that nothing will remain in the memory.

The character design is a bit too Catholic, the textures are too weak, the animation itself is a bit too slapstick for my taste. This is one of the few martial arts films that clearly differentiate between martial arts and acrobatics. And you couldn't quite decide whether to give the animals realistic or abstract colors. I liked the film but it is not worth looking at again. Small children will have fun with it but only recommended if there is really nothing better to find there is a good gap filler. This is truly a children's film through and through because it is more of a content and narrative style for children and because children do not yet have the cognitive skills to follow abstract thinking processes or complex actions and they are fed with shallow food anyway before being served a lobster. besides, the film has almost no extras almost every scene and setting feels really empty I really thought in the beginning the main character lives in a ghost town

But here are a few things the film did well: 1. The film is entertaining, 2. The film is not silly 3. The film knows when to be funny 4. The film knows when to be serious 5. All battles are as fast as they are dynamic 6. Although the main villain in this film is very passive, you have given a lot of personality through his fighting style and presented it as a serious threat 7. the last fight is surprisingly exciting and surprisingly hard compared to the rest of the film, which is why the win feels all the sweeter

Liar Liar
(1997)

The 90s were really full of films from Workaholics.
The film is nothing big and nothing earth-shattering but the acting by Jim Carrey is so over-the-top that I find it a bit of a shame that you don't get an Oscar for comedy rolls. In itself it is a really great idea with a nice message, but I don't know if it is wise to end up with a pretty malty kitschy Hollywood in a movie that is about telling the truth because in the end everything turns out well and the couple comes back together is the biggest lie. I am sorry for the new friend of mine because I really think that he is a personable person and they deserve more than Jim Carrey's character who is just too unappealing.

Despite his thin plot, Liar Liar is highlighted by Jim Carrey's exuberant physical humor, and the result is a laughing revolt that has helped to add to the comedian's appeal.

But I like that the film has a relatively vulgar and rough way that makes it much more believable even though it is an adult film for children it is not held back when people shout at each other.

despite everything I'm not happy with the end and wonder if that was really the right decision because Jim Carrey is unemployed at the end of the film, a good man with good intentions didn't get married, a boy who had the opportunity to get into a bigger one Moving to town continues to live alone with his mother in a small apartment, and the woman has come together with a constant lying to the idiots.

Also, if he's such a good liar, I mean why doesn't Fletcher Reede just become an actor. I know you don't have to do it with a hundred percent logic in the end it's still just a film but it has to be credible and meaningful somewhere. or at least plausible enough that you can get involved to follow it.Art und Weise

Tomb Raider
(2018)

Someone has sabotaged them themselves for the Bechdel test
After the two horrific Angelina Jolie catastrophes, I was happy to finally see a new interpretation of one of the iconic video game characters. And at the beginning of the film a lot of good was shown and we managed to establish the character properly, even though the order of the scenes was questionable. All the time I thought it was so bad, this is a nice afternoon ProSieben film but the cut could be a little slower.

As soon as the film really starts and we come to the island, it becomes absolutely stupid and chaotic. The effects look even worse than from the video template. During her chase she has so many accidents that you would have killed at least 20 times and at the beginning it was shown why she can fight a bit but where can she get all the acrobatic masterworks of all Cirque du Soleil. It's called Show don't tell, but nothing was shown to us here and nothing was told that we should just get along with the fact that she came This pseudo deep narration gets on my nerves and Hollywood has been trying to hit feminism with a mallet for a long time is not okay. I am tired of seeing women beating their way through a male-dominated world again and again and that with completely unrealistic measures that would not be manageable for a trained person. The whole thing would be a lot more serious if I were all stupid like straw around them . I know that this film happens more on modern games, which I think is good too, that's why we have more physical action and more with bows and arrows, but the modern games are a lot brutal and this is so softly cooked and boring I never have the impression had. That our Lara was ever in danger and since she calculated everything as if she had the Ultra instinct is even more unrealistic. Generally, I understand why Hollywood films have a problem with hurting the characters or making them look bad, they get through everything without a scratch because I don't think the modern Lara Croft games were so nerve-wracking because there was something on every corner Guys could or who had been seriously injured and you had to split up your western energy to get through this is the main problem that this film lacks. And who doesn't love to have redcon in the same film. it would be a pretty good emotional thing if Lara Croft's father were actually dead, but in the middle it stands out that you are still alive. somehow Disney is the only company that is constantly pulling parents to die and who really have the balls that the parents stay dead even though there is magic at Disney. Why must there always be doomsday plots? Every film always has some dangers that lead to global destruction, that is unrealistic. yes I know this is an entertainment film and no documentary but not even the Indiana Jones films have been so exaggerated that the hunter of the lost treasure was very vague as to what will happen you didn't know what was going to happen and the other two films did not have it now all mankind destroyed. this is generally a thing that I do not fully understand if the whole world / humanity is destroyed what does it bring? Where do the bad guys want to live? The fact that the film wants to be so emancipated is already declining and the drive for Lara Croft was in the games her mother, she wanted to honor her "deceased" mother with everything she did.

Rambo: Last Blood
(2019)

May Rambo rest in peace
The opening credits, closing credits and the narration, in contrast to the last film, actually give the feeling that this was planned as a final for Rambo. I think that's good, but the film has absolutely no finality and has given neither the character nor the film series anything. As if you were adding a page on Romeo and Juliet, another stanza on Mozart's Requiem or the background of the Mona Lisa.

God knows the Rambo films are not the non-plus-ultra and apart from the first one you can see everyone as senseless entertainment but even they have their reason for being and are somehow artistic. And even if those are the best films of all time for someone, a "Rambo: Last Blood" will only annoy you and that you still write fat and bold ending has a bad aftertaste. it would have made a lot more sense to publish all the films in a special gift box and add this montage to the last film in the end credits. I like the title because now finally the brackets are closed for the first part because the films in the original have really strange titles but I really can't say much about the film. The Rambo character is a product of its time and of course these are the films, the last one splashes somewhere in between and would be directly forgotten. If it weren't for the grand finale of this iconic character. At least something has already been brought out cinematically because there is no real happy ending, many characters die and even Rambo is injured more often than I thought (you can see his age and the film works with it) However, the bottom line is that it only makes things worse. For me that clearly shows that people have got their heads around and tacked this cheap home front cover that absolutely doesn't match the Rambo character (I would rather have taught younger people like "Creed") Of course there are worse films, but it is more pitiful if you only achieve mediocrity in every respect, even in terms of violence (especially for Rambo)

If I were Sylvester Stallone I would develop a special DVD box that would rename the films: First Blood, Second Blood, Third Blood and Last Blood. the whole thing ends with an assembly and then the row is left forever. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it. But you can squeeze as you want at some point the fruit is empty.

Hellboy
(2019)

This film is a strange, absurd mix of Transformers 5, King Arthur, Braveheart, and Men in Black.
Who is this film for? For children, the dialogues are the humorist for twelve-year-olds, the action is for 16-year-olds and the violence should be done to 18-year-olds. There are no single quiet moments in this film and unfortunately nothing soulful either. All of them are just arguing and bickering like in my cousin's kindergarten group. Elle are insulting themselves so that you ask yourself the question why they don't piss each other on the face and the whole film is just full of explanations and explanations that a better title would be "call of exposicion". Of course, I know that this film is much closer to the comics, but that makes it all the worse that nothing really fits together here and that the things they changed just stand out like a soda thumb 300 is a one to one implementation works but without problems as a film. the X-Men trilogy changed things 80% but works fine as films and even fans love them apart from part 3 (but that's a different story). The action is pretty hectic and has a nimble spacing. I actually like brutal films but here there was just violence because of the violence and that's no fun. Everything is strangely clapped together there you have Nazis, King Arthur, and in the next scene there are some policemen chasing demons and a pig demon into the prefabricated building and I remembered Transformers 5 very well. And that speaks volumes if things are taken from the original source material in the same way and I have to ask myself the whole time whether I have skipped 20 times or just all are completely drunk. Nobody in the film seems like a real threat to neither the heroes nor the shops, which is why I kept asking myself why they don't just call the police. Milla Jovovich has never been a good actress but in this film she is so out of place that you could replace her with a mannequin because what she has delivered here already borders on refusal to work, the costumes are good, but everyone in the film just looked ugly .

And there are so many small details that just seem wrong and out of place, which is why I am wondering whether either the film was originally supposed to go for 3.5 hours and just broken down on it or whether they wanted to make a completely serious dark film all underworld and just before Have noticed at the end how successful Deadpool is and had to jump on this train.

Henry Danger
(2014)

Henry Danger is a tumor
I always thought the series was made for kids, but you need the IQ of an amoeba to really enjoy it here. Children deserve better and young people expect better.

All characters are such cheap stereotypes that I could hear correctly how my brain cells melted away. All names sound terrible, I think making names is difficult and elaborate, but you can be more creative than Captain Man or Kid Danger. The dialogues are the best example of how important "show don#t tell" is and how tedious repetitions can be.

In the beginning I felt sorry for the actors but now they are stuck so long that I have lost all respect.

The episodes are self-contained and return at their end essentially to the initial situation, this creates countless continuity errors. But the worst thing this rubbish produces is its cheap apology for humor, that's just the bottom of the barrel with the worst jokes, puns and slapstick of my life. The drama is not better, frankly, it's even worse because it's all exaggerating, directly telling what they feel rather than showing it, and above all, the adults behave like Roland McDonald and are fidgeting worse than a chimpanzee with shivering fit.

I'm not a fan laugh tracks. That's why this show was the purest torture for me because, a laugh came after every single sentence. EVERY SINGLE TIME!

I know tastes are different and I'm not the emperor of good taste but if there is someone out there who likes this series please leave me alone.

All humans deserve to live but this show belongs to the wall and shot dead.

Psycho
(1998)

this movie sucks
I have seen this movie for a long time before I knew the original and was just disappointed that's the best proof that the film does the same thing one to one because it did something important wrong and therefore tastes completely different despite the same recipe.

Angela Anaconda
(1999)

This series is so bad that it has already become a meme.
In fact, the German dub is a lot better and gives all characters a pleasant voice. However, this does not help against the really ridiculous dialogues the fact that in some episodes less happens than in "Caillou" and that all characters always have to address each other with first and last names. And why are things always repeated unnecessarily?

Here in Germany, was the series shockingly pretty popular. Everyone in the schoolyard only talked about Angela Anaconda, I think because nobody understood why the show went on and on TV.

The series is dull, uninteresting, ugly as sin, and still has been the poster boy of Super RTL until we got Spongebob.

Honestly and objectively I would have to share my rating again divide by 5 but I had so much fun with this series because you can make fun of it so perfectly that I just go out with a smile every time
