What? Omar Sharif is excellent, but he always is. I'm afraid I couldn't take any more of Frank mumbling his way through the whole film and had to take a break. I mean, is this guy actually an actor? He has appealing qualities, and knows horses pretty well, but none of that matters if you can't understand what he's muttering.
Sorry, but that's how it affected me. I think also that more of it could've went on the cutting room floor and we wouldn't have really noticed the difference. It's just too long. And why are people wearing 2004 style glasses in 1890?
Anyhow, the thing is just a bit too cheesy and Frank and Hidalgo are just a bit too bulletproof for the real world. I have to say I expected more.
