  • And when I say boring movie, I mean it by giving only 1 star! It is not logical when some viewers say "what a boring film" and they evaluate it with 7/10! It makes no sense! So, we have 2 actresses in the main roles (I never understand why Tilda Swinton makes so much noice- she is overrated) with probles of solidarity. They are depressed (the one with serious base) and we watch for about 100 minutes something absurd. Ok, good director (I am not so sure...) but a movie for a good topic needs a different approach. It is not even deep. Just beautiful images and a huge amount of cliches! I felt deppressed not because of the topic of euthanasia but due to the shallowness of everybody involved in this film. Next, please!
  • I declare misled. I saw the trailer, I learned that Blanchett is playing in the lead-role (although lately I have been disappointed by her choices...) and finally I read the reviews of some ''objective'' imdb - critics of the film. And they tricked me. Reviews deify an idiocy that lasts almost two hours. They are singing the praises of a sleazeball shot in the desert, with a dark-haired kid with odd-colored hair playing the beastly guy from the Green Mile.... Blanchett is a nun who cannot digest that the strange little boy works miracles. The curious little guy also does incomprehensible nonsense, though. And time goes by, and nothing happens. But the reviews are exciting because...who knows? Boredom! Be objective, guys! The scores of 10/10 for this &''film'' is madness.
  • Deep yawn lasting one hour and forty minutes. After all, that's how long this thing, that appears as a film, lasts. What does he want to say? I'm not sure. I'll make an effort though. He wants to capture our boring, monotonous and sterile life. Working in an office where everything is done in a certain fixed way and the slightest variation stirs the stagnant waters of decent employees. Jon Hamm, otherwise a good actor, is the one who comes to change the balance. He monologues endlessly. He pauses in his natural dialogues to monologue to himself. And time does not pass. Wondering what you're looking at all this time? What is it that adds something new, something fresh? My fault for getting carried away watching the trailer. It will not happen again. Films like this will, of course, be made again. Countless such come out every day.
  • A movie full of clichés, stereotypes, boring conversations. They got together two beautiful movie stars(...) who carry the stereotypes which are basically needed to make a movie now and they succeeded! Two characters, a bit comical, a bit pretentious, a bit of everything. The first 30 minutes absolutely nothing. A period without a realistic scene. All far-fetched to make the non-existent script work. She is so mysterious that she is empty. But she is also cruel... And he, with a family above him, is also patient. Should we watch ''the friends'' better? Apple production for downloading and only. A tv movie for pop corn. Next...
  • Another unimoprtant movie, a movie that had no reason to make it, let alone create the idea for this. What does the new director Eissenberg want to achieve? Convince us that he has concerns about the future of the planet? That he cares for the good of humanity? Want to scream for green growth? What happens to me? To irritate me with the chatter of his texts. Does he try to make the actors talk as fast as he does? Is it an experiment? Do you want to show us your deep talent? Don't make movies. Another family without cohesion. Characters indifferent. Result; Sleepiness! I like Julianne Moore and that was the reason for giving a try. Pity for Julianne, and pity for me.
  • Another exorcism horror movie. Another movie that uses sudden noises to scare you, to get you off your couch. It doesn't succeed except 1-2 times when you might have your attention elsewhere.... Hasn't the subject of exorcism been exhausted? Isn't this just another repeat? It is! You don't know in advance what you will see? You know! Script so poorly written that it probably doesn't exist. There is only one central idea. That is to say, a woman - priest who will undertake the exorcism despite the reactions. On the plus side? One and only. The lead actress is decent in her role. That's it, though. She deserves better texts to be featured. The end of the movie? Simply, the movie had to end. That's it.
  • What exactly does this film want to achieve? Why should the weird and sometimes paranoid look or angle of a director or script writer be something worth mentioning, let alone made into a movie? I honestly tried to see this movie with as clear a mind as I can... Is there something wrong with me? Is there some secret dimension hidden in this film that I (40 years old) can't grasp? Where is the director looking forward to? Amuse us? Entertain us? Drive us crazy? The last one, he succeeded! What did I watch? A strange, motley family whose members' dialogues use pretentious expressions full of disjointed, meaningless words and a tendency to impress even the teenagers of the family with their knowledge and strange inclinations! Do us a favor... We are not so easy to get. 1/10 from me.
  • Tom Hanks, you are such a good actor to be in such awful ''movie''... Speaking to a robot for 120 minutes? Please, reject some ideas for movies. And if you don't care about yourself, do it for us. We deserve something nice. Do not make films, just to make films.

So cheap...so boring...so silly movie. Avoid it. And do not be affected by imdb ratings. It's just 1/10. Nothing more.
  • Just saw it. The least I can write, is that we have an uninteresting film here. A bunch of soldiers shooting each other. Poor dialogues, no script, fake suspense, mediocre actors. Just shooting and shooting. Bam, bam and bam!
  • I have to admit that the main idea of this Korean film is very good. It is different from the majority of the films I have seen, but for me it was inadequate. The first 40-45 minutes are the main part of the movie. You understand what is going on. The rest of the movie is just a repeat of the first 40 minutes. It becomes boring. The acting is just good. Nice effort.
  • What was that? This movie is a crap! Bad acting. No script. Bad dialogues. Boring, full of cliches and the protagonist (Travolta) acting in the baddest way! It is a classic D-movie!
  • I just finished watching this movie. I had seen the trailer and it initially intrigued me... But...The result was simply awful. I didn't laugh at all. I have to mention that I like Emma Thompson, but the script is so weak, there is no pace. I think I have seen this type of movie hundreds of times. If you ''must'' this movie, see it while you work on your laptop or you red your newspaper. If you miss 20 minutes or more, never mind. Nevertheless, nothing happens really. Please, make better movies.
  • I just saw this...movie. To be honest, I just couldn't stand more than 50 minutes. Nothing happens. All these 50 minutes was an indifferent discussion between a man and a woman. The acting is ridiculous, the story...which story? Awful movie. They should stop making such nonsense films!!!!
