Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island!
(2005)

Hilarious!!
"Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island!" is a hilarious show that is on Saturday mornings on WB. It stars Coconut Fred and all of his friends on the island, and every episode is a very funny misadventure of theirs. Most of the time, it is because of Coconut Fred's trouble making antics which makes it funny, and other stuff going on on the island at the same time. The humor is great and nobody on the island is very bright at all, which adds it being as amusing as it is. I don't think this could be funnier. The voice talents of the characters are magnificently superior and are exaggerated, which adds to the show's hilarity. If this is ever on DVD, I'm getting it A.S.A.P!

Strongly recommended for a good laugh.

Fun with Dick and Jane
(2005)

Meet Dick. See Dick run. Run, Dick, run. See this movie.
{spoilers}:

I'd give "Fun With Dick And Jane" an 8 out of 10. It's not quite Jim Carrey's best but I'd still highly recommend it because it's worth seeing if you're a fan of his. The real fun with Dick and Jane begins when Dick gets fired from his job and what he does about it when he's down on his luck. It only gets better when he and Jane {Tea Leoni} try to get other jobs after Jane quits her job when things only seem to be getting better for both of them. Overall a fun movie to see if like Jim Carrey and/or Tea Leoni. Pretty good stuff. I wonder what else he's soon planning to do like this.

8/10

Lost
(2004)

I LOVE the heck out of this show.
"LOST" is without a doubt one of my favorite TV shows ever. It's the mystery and suspense that makes every minute worth watching. Just let me tell you that you are in for a big surprise and you don't know what you're missing if you haven't seen the first season on TV and/or DVD. The acting is great and so is the story. Every episode shows flashbacks of one or more characters of what happened before they ended up where they are now.

I just cannot describe in words how excellent this show is. My favorite live-action drama on TV.

10/10 stars.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
(2001)

The Magical Origin of a Superb Trilogy
{brief spoilers}: This being my favorite out of the 3, "Lord of The Rings" is instantly a classic. It is one of my favorite movies. Everybody in this film {especially the villains} is well cast in their roles and they portray them all perfectly. The Shire in the beginning is beautiful filled with bright green grass and happy hobbits. There are also darker places filled with evil orcs. Of course, this trilogy has always been beautiful altogether.

The best parts are the battle scenes. That's the main pizazz of "Lord of The Rings." Peter Jackson has adapted this series in the best way possible by any director. Just like the other two, it has happy parts, sad parts and exciting, thrilling parts. Combined together, that's just what it is. It kind of reminds me of "Legend of Earthsea" and "Merlin" because they are of the same fantasy genre. This is my favorite one because while it does not have as much action as "Return of The King" {not to mention as emotional}, it has the most beauty and the most fantasy elements and because it explains the entire story. Ever since it came out in 2001, and with whoever follows in Peter Jackson's footsteps, it always was a classic and always will be for years to come.

Sleepy Hollow
(1999)

Tim Burton's darkest film
If I ever had to choose what film would be one of Tim Burton's darkest, I'd have to say "Sleepy Hollow." It's beautifully made in his style...as the way he would direct it, and it's also the goriest, but it still manages to have some appropriately silly humor along with it. The setting is perfect as a gloomy, foggy kind of town in 1799. The whole movie reminds me of "From Hell" which also has Johnny Depp in it only this isn't as freaky. They both are but you can't compare the two except for the violence and the settings because they aren't very different.

Without a doubt, it is still up there as one of my favorite Tim Burton movies. I give it 9 and a half out of 10 stars for the darkness and the acting and whatever else is beautiful about this kind of film.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
(1993)

Best animated musical ever made
I have always loved this movie no matter what time of year it is. In fact, this movie, "Beetlejuice" and "Edward Scissorhands" are what got me into Tim Burton films. This movie also reminds me of his book called The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy and other stories. I wish there were more movies like this. "Corpse Bride" is the only other one I can think of. I even have a Jack Skellington bobblehead doll and the video game for Playstation 2. My favorite character in "Nightmare Before Christmas" has to be Oogie Boogie because he's fun to watch and he's evil, but so is the whole thing. This film is great especially for halloween and Christmas because it's a mix of the 2 into one and the result is great. I love everything about it and always have.

10/10 stars.

The Cat in the Hat
(2003)

I am the world's only remaining fan
This is the most underrated movie of all time. NOBODY likes it. Believe it or not, I actually really really enjoyed it when I saw it after a period of wanting to see it for a while. There's nothing offensive about it to me. What is so offensive about this film anyway? Okay, so it's more childish than the Grinch, but so what? I was horrified to see how trashed this movie was by everyone when it came out. "The Cat in The Hat" is entertaining to me, not to anyone else though.

You may want to pinch yourself, because you're not dreaming. I LIKE this movie a lot more than most people. I can't believe the majority of haters of this movie. There's nothing racist, nor sexual about it, and unsurprisingly, it's no fun for anyone by poor little ol' me. Am I believable? Believe me. It's not the best movie in the world, but it certainly is a whole lot better to me than anyone else. It's as unpopular as popular as "Lord of The Rings" is. Oh, and don't get mad at me for pointing out the obvious truth, someone has to. I hope that if they make another Dr. Suess movie, nobody should hate it as much as this.

Romeo + Juliet
(1996)

Not entertaining in the least
This has to be Leonardo Decaprio's worst movie. Before I saw it, I heard it was good...WRONGO! This good-for-nothing film is Shakespeare material presented in a pretty bad way. For example, it would have been a whole lot better if they could manage saying the same stuff in Shakespearian, but only in plain English. That, and the environment. If you ask me, it's in a poor setting for this movie. Verona BEACH, California has never been somewhere where anyone talks like this and it totally falls out of place for the dialogue. For a Shakepeare film, the setting has the following:

1. Masquarades where everybody is dressed like idiots and nothing really recklessly matters in their case 2. Cars 3. A pool instead of a balcony 4. Guns 5. Other stuff that is needlessly exaggerated

The only good things about it are the soundtrack and the 1968 version which is much closer to the way it is suppose to be for the dialogue AND the setting. See that instead and skip this. Not recommended.

The World of Stainboy
(2000)

The Extremely Peculiar But Wonderous World Of Stainboy
Tim Burton is my favorite director and he has created a black comedy/stop-motion animation/short-film series about a superhero named Stainboy. Firstly, I read "The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy" which is where Stainboy originates from. This is not much different. Here's what it's about: Stainboy is a lonely superhero who works for the police, detecting out any strange and/or harmful activities that occur daily in Burbank. Some examples involve other characters {but not all} from Oyster Boy. They include Roy the Toxic Boy, Robot Boy, the Staring Girl, Match Girl and one character that wasn't in the book called Bowling Ball Head. Each cartoon is about 5 minutes long and each one has one of these characters that Stainboy has to confront, as directed by his boss, Sargeant Glen Dale who is voiced by Glenn Shadix.

Highly recommended. 10/10 stars.

Ed, Edd n Eddy
(1999)

The Best Cartoon Network Show Ever
"Ed Edd and Eddy" is the best cartoon that Cartoon Network ever had. It is also one of my favorite TV shows. I even have a DVD and 2 VHS tapes that I taped of it that Ilove because no matter what, this show is always zany, bizarre, silly very funny and just plain awesome all at the same time. Some people might not like it, but so what? The animation is cool, the music is nice and this is absolutely fun to watch any time! Of course, the Eds are my favorite characters because they're like the "village idiots," so to speak. Ed just screams nonsense and is the dullest, Edd {double-d} is the brainy one who wears a hat and nobody knows what's under it, and Eddy just always thinks of clever scams for money so they can somehow get jawbreakers later on.

I love this show!

10/10 stars.

Scream 2
(1997)

I just have to say....
that this is one of the dumbest horror movies I have ever seen. When it's not trying to be "scary," {not by a longshot} it just wastes the rest of it's time with bad acting explaining how revenge is being plotted. That's all it's about. The first movie was mediocre all by itself. It was only inevitable, like many sequels, that it HAS to worse than before. It's not even very surprising when you find out who the killer is, and that's the only good scene in my humble opinion. I somewhat enjoy the soundtrack from time to time except for the rap songs, but that's probably the only 2 likable things about "Scream 2." I was disappointed when I actually WANTED to see this movie.

Overall: 2 stars {at the most!}
