I enjoyed the acting and cinematography - but the script felt a bit "Doctor Who-ey".
Opposite to Sherlock where twists are made to reveal clever writing, the plot adds new ideas throughout to sort itself out in a linear fashion, despite the confusing nature of the film.

You know films that try to be edgy but just end up being a bit boring and weird? Well this is one of them.
Phoenix and the cast mumble their way through the film with only unnecessarily loud, random noises keeping the viewer awake.
Maybe Robert Di Nero should've forced the main cast member attempt a read-through of this film too.
