Antibirth
(2016)

Very trippy, very weird, very gross and absolutely insane.
Honestly, I was very sceptic going into this movie, however after letting my guard down and allowing the film to get going, I was drawn into its strange world. The whole experience was a rollercoaster ride. Some of the scenes are immaculately shot, the cinematography really impressed me and took me off guard more than once. And then, during some other scenes I just kept thinking: "oh my god why did they edit it this way?"

The performances are mostly good, the editing, as stated before, has its ups and downs. Honestly just give this movie a shot if you like campy weird horror movies.

Pixels
(2015)

Another awful Adam Sandler movie
Honestly, I am so sick of seeing the same recycled movie over and over again. It's Adam Sandler playing the character he always plays, same thing goes for Kevin James and they have the same dynamic they've had in any other movie they've ever done. The jokes are flat, you could see every one of them coming and you've heard them time and time again. Then, there's of course the love interest that really doesn't serve any other purpose than being that one woman who needs to be convinced that Adam Sandler's character really isn't that much of a loser - you know - like in every other Adam Sandler movie. And it is of course full of clichés. (What did you expect?)

What also really bugged me, is that the main storyline of aliens attacking as arcade games is completely stolen from Futurama. So not only is the movie bad, it's also totally unoriginal.

2/10 for amazing CGI, but complete waste of time and brain cells otherwise.

The Ring
(2002)

Best horror film out there
First of all, you should know that 'The Ring' is the American remake of Japan's 'Ringu'. That being said, I think that this is one of the best remakes ever. In my personal opinion, I think that 'The Ring' is a far better movie than 'Ringu'. Not only is it superior in acting and storyline, it also features better effects and a darker tone overall.

I think that this movie is what all other horror flicks should strive for. It sets a very dark atmosphere from the very beginning and does a brilliant job at delivering hopelessness throughout its entire duration. It never reveals too much, as so many films nowadays tend to and gives you just enough eeriness to keep you hooked to the screen, waiting for the next hint at what the story behind the mysterious videotape is.

It's honestly the most suspenseful film of its genre and I would recommend watching it as soon as possible.
