Splendid I was lucky enough to see this movie by a young, up-and-coming director who I'll bet we'll be hearing a lot more about. It is visually stunning and well acted. A real joy! The lighting and camera work is also very interesting. It reflects what is going on in the movie. The movie also keeps you guessing. Not everything is what it seems -- but, then again, that's true in real life too! By the end of the movie, you really want the characters to find happiness. I don't want to give away the ending so you have to see for yourself what happens. This is not cookie-cutter "mainstream" cinema. It is imaginative and bold. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see cutting-edge movie making.
