This is like something from the History Channel reject pile 20 yesrs ago. From the overly dramatic music, to the awful editing to create "suspense" and keep you watching. Everything wrong with TV documentaries is on display here. Shame, because it's a genuinely fascinating place and the subject deserves better than this type of schlock. Somebody genuinely interested in this topic would do far better to watch some YouTube shows. This is more designed to watch in a hotel room after you've raided the minibar and collapsed onto the bed in a stupor. And that's a pity because Netflix is usually better than this type of garbage.
Fury Road is a modern classic and it was always going to he hard to match it. Predictably, Furiosa falls short in almost every way. Even so, it's still a very good movie and a worthwhile expansion of the Mad Max story.
It lacks its predecessor's laser focus and relentless rhythm and pacing. Furiosa aims more for an epic story with character development across many years. It works pretty well, and credit to Anna Taylor Joy for portraying a younger Charlize Theron almost perfectly.
The only actual disappointment for me is Chris Hemsworth, and that's a shock. His character is lacking the charisma that he seemed almost certain to bring to the role, and delivers a strange mix of Jack Sparrow and The Dude, without the charm of either. He's not bad by any stretch, but surprisingly lackluster and hampered by the fact they couldn't quite seem to nail down his character's strengths or motivations.
Again, it speaks to the brilliance of Fury Road that a movie as good as Furiosa comes off as a disappointment. It seems unfair. It also seems inevitable that we'll get more...and I'm here for it!

Dragons roasting stuff and killing each other - 10/10 best show ever!! Brilliantly written and acted episodes like this - 5/10 boring filler.
What is wrong with people? Is it mainly 10 year olds reviewing this show? Maybe you better stick to Disney Plus.
There are so many scenes I just don't want to end. The casting is so on-point. My only gripe is a lack of "fun" characters compared to GoT. Everybody is oh so very serious! But it really doesn't take anything away from the show as a whole.
Give me great dialog and intrigue over CGI dragons any day. Not that the dragons aren't completely awesome, granted.
