Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare
(2023)

Only in the USA
Only in the USA... Clueless parents try to raise clueless children in a clueless, uneducated society, leaving their children in the hands if clueless ex- military.... Instead of taking responsibility of their OWN failure, these simple, shallow "parents", not capable of parenting, turned to clueless, 35 years old Steve Cartisano and clueless Lance "Horsehair" Jaggar, two militairy men with no pedagogical education or experience. What could go wrong? 🙂 Reality is it went wrong at the moment these parents were allowed to have children. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to send these clueless parents on a re-educational trip, before exposing children who are in their most vulnerable, (self-)exploring, defiant time of their life, to be kidnapped by a bunch of idiots with no professional credentials in a program where children died.

It became a multi million usd business and remarkable is to hear clueless (wife) Debbie Cartisano's excuse that "a lot of money was coming in, but a lot of money was going out as well", while living in a 6500 square feet, which was "adequate" for her.

(sarcasm) Its always good to hear that people profiting from society, offering no real value, just misery, can live their lives in "adequate", 6500 sq. Feet properties without taking respobsibility for the death and misery of those they earn from.

But the worst thing, besides that no-one has been held accountable for the deaths & injured, it became business as usual. Like it never happened.

Knives Out
(2019)

The plot has one mayor issue
Spoiler: Why didn't Harlan just write a quick suicide note right before he died, that he injected himself with an overdose of Morphine on purpose, instead of concocting his elaborate plan to redeem Marta? She always left the medication with him in his room, so it would be easier and way more believable than cutting his own throat and would fit the toxicology report.

In the end it didn't matter because the vials were switched, but then it did matter because Marta, as an experience nurse, subcontiously took the right vial 🙂 Its all a bit far fetched, but I suppose it is in the nature of this types of movies. Its ashame it sank under its own complexity.

Old
(2021)

huge disappoinment
This must be M. Night Shyamalan worst movie yet. The acting & script has no credibility. All children physically grow from age 6 to being teenagers in a matter of hours, yet their parents think they are ill or they ate something bad. It took them another few hours to realize something was wrong with the flow of time. Also, it is mentioned that their hair and nails do not grow faster, since hair- and nail cells are dead cells, yet a completely dead body decomposes in a matter of hours.

The Ice Road
(2021)

Liam Neeson should retire
Another cliche Liam Neeson movie with another level of implausability.

To think that this man played the leading role in Schindlers List...He should be ashamed of himself.

Ad Astra
(2019)

had to watch it twice to give it one star
Presumably dead father triggeres an emp traveling billions of miles.....for what? Where is the science? Where is the philosophical, psychological explanation. What a pointless bs.

24
(2001)

Fun but very unrealistic
CTU HQ has had moles, was bombed, was nerve gassed and assaulted by a chinese assault team. Compromised so often, in so many ways that it surprises me that still, after many seasons people just can walk in and ctu employees as well as the director are asking "who is this?". It is nice to see the different kind of scenarios being played out, even if it suggests that the USA is under constant attack, but the lack of continuous security evaluation and improvement of ctu is laughable. Just another soap opera on steroids

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum
(2019)

2 hours of boredom
I cannot remember a movie more boring, shallow and pointless than this, except maybe a low budget 80ties action movie. At least those never took longer than 1h30

Dirty Money
(2018)

crawl back under the rock you came from!
Ep.1...Alex Gibney introduces his (past) love for his VW Diesel. In every which way the perfect car for him. It has all the power, the space, the luxury, but none of the negative side effects, so we are told..., since according to the manufacturer...its ultra clean :) Hell, even his wife put a bumper sticker on it with "namasté" :) Now he hates the car !! So much that he needs to tell us how capitalism, consumerism and he feels obliged to warn us about the effects of Corporatism... Really??? No....seriously Alex....really? You and your wife cannot be this naive or plainly dumb ...I have to assume you're simply capitalizing on this issue be which makes you part of the problem.
