Strain 100
(2020)

Seen it, but not again.
So. I gave it a 6. For a low-budget film, it's perfectly fine. Lots of bad acting, but some good too. I especially like Jemma Dallender. She gave a good performance in I spit on your grave 2. It was when I was checking out other movies she has been in that I found this one. I would probably have given a lower grade without her.

Like that there are zombies running. Very good makeup. The performance from a cool YouTuber is not wrong either. Hickok45. Plausible story.

I've actually finished writing what I wanted to. But IMDb certainly wants you to write a novel. So now when I have to spend time writing nonsense, it tells me that IMDb doesn't respect my time, but we contribute content to their site.

Go figure....

The Purge
(2018)

A future USA!
USA in the near future?

Well this could be it. Why?

They think they live in the land of the free and brave. But they are on their way to sucumb to poverty and division. With those who have, the powerful minority of the population against those who don't have, the poor majority.

This genre of movies and series is a look in to a could be future of this not so great nation.

The NFFA (New party in this futristic USA) is almost here. Look at the happenings in congress. Look at the fall of society in this wanna be democracy. If you don't have, you are like the poor in The Purge.

Have the creators of this changre seen in to the glass bulb, and seen the future of this messed up country?!

Reasonable Doubt
(2022)

No, no, no!
Don't really know why I gave this series as many points as 3. Already in episode 3 and still haven't seen the inside of a courtroom. You have seen maybe 2 minutes of the police interrogation. What this so-called series about a lawyer has to do with the genre is unknown to me.

And why should IMDb suddenly want us to write a novel when we use our time to make their website more complete. 600 characters is way too much. What should you spend your time on? Sound, camera locations, or what?

So now, when I have actually written what I want to convey, I have to spend time filling in a lot of nonsense. IMDb has lost its way. The forum was taken away. Now you have to write novel big reviews.

The Undeclared War
(2022)

Started to watch. Couldn't stop!
My heading says it all.

This is something that happen as we speak, im sure of it. This movie keep you on edge. Sure there are some boring parts. But there is a good story in here. I can't wait for the next season.

To bad there has to be a 600 character reviev on IMDB now. Not everybody feel the need to write or read a novel, not me atleast. So this is me, ranting away with a lot of BS, because I said my peace and was ready to move on. SP if you agree with me, press the thumbs up button. If anyone know about a way around this stupid, new rule. Please reply. Because everybody isnt armchair, know it all critiques.

Kingdom of Heaven
(2005)

Read me!
Listen up. I wan't pretend beeing a expert. My rating: 10. Epic movie. Great story. Directors cut, a must see. I don't want to play armchair critiqs expert here, as many others. The so called wannabees rating it low. Writing about the script or the historical accurace. No, no, no! Don't mind those armchair critiq warriors. The wannabees. This is a epic movie well worth your time.

Keep Breathing
(2022)

All over the place.
Seen it. Never going to see it again!

How this can get anything over 3, i don't get.

This was all over place. I forced myself through it, so I could check it as watched in my series app.

Redcon-1
(2018)

No... No... No!
So. From the UK we got 28 Days later and 28 Weeks later. Great movies. And now we got this. Reading the 10/10 reviews here, they must be from actors and staff. I give it a 2. I lasted 20 minutts.

Tomorrow, When the War Began
(2016)

Rooting for the bad guys!
You know once in a while you come across a movie where you are rooting for the bad guys. Well you found it. Not worth your time.

The movie was a littlebit better.

Even when these kids are armed, they don't fire their guns.

Miss Sloane
(2016)

Seen it several times!
Look. To many haters. Don't listen!

I guess many of them are gun loving, liberal Hastings individuals. And just let me say, I love guns.

Great cast, acting, plot, you name it.

So make your popcorn and enjoy.

The Tomorrow War
(2021)

Dont mind the wannabee critiqs!
So. There are lots of those wannabee critiqs in here. Those who think they know. Writing about the script, director, producers. They will have hate about the editing, camera and all things. Don't mind these armchair critiq warriors. This is a grear movie. I seen it several times.

Bad Blood
(2017)

Awsome serie!
I need season 3. That says it all!

I loved Kim Coates in SOA, he is great in this serie.

Crown Vic
(2019)

Great movie!
People.

Listen up. Don't listen to the low ratings.

This is people that don't know front and back on a good movie.

If you liked End of Watch. Well then you will like this one. Loved the cast. Loved the raw life for a cop on the streets.

Spy Game
(2001)

Redford at his best!
Must leave a review to counter all the haters. You know, the wanna be critics who do not know what a good movie is. This spy movie has it all. A story that takes you to several locations. Actors created for the role. If you have not seen it, then you have something good to look forward to. Enjoy!

The Horse Whisperer
(1998)

Great movie!
This is an incredibly good movie. Redford at its best. Good story, makes you want to move to Montana. A great cast with actors. Do not worry about the bad critics. They can not watch a good movie if it goes right in front of their eyes.

Independents' Day
(2016)

Not bad!
I've seen it once, will not see it again. That being said. I've seen worse. Plausible history. Lots of good FX on some of the scenes. Give it a try, I did.

The War Below
(2021)

Authentic!
If you liked Beneath Hill 60, this is a movie for you. Authentic and based on a true event. There is not many WW1 movies, and not this well made. So enjoy a bit of history in making.

The Forever Purge
(2021)

Love it!
The Purge franchise strikes again, and there is room for more, new purges movies. Think about it, we are talking hardcore old testament here. A follow up with all out war. I just love these purge movies and series. I see the future in USA in these. You know, home of the free and brave and all that. If there is one country this could happened in, it's, yes you guessed it. USA! So dont listen to the haters. Enjoy the ride.

Infected: The Darkest Day
(2021)

Not 28 days later. But...
I like UK made zombie movies. This is not 28 days later or 28 weeks later, but this is a good movie. A credible story with fast running crazies. It was a good entertainment watching it, give it a chance.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond
(2020)

I'm rooting for the zombies!
I love TWD. The original serie, fear the walking dead. I have seen most of the extras. You got a bunch of teens on a mission, who can't kill a zombie, that's sums it up so far. This review are after 4 episodes. I hope I can come back and edit my review, but I doubt it.

This is a addition to my review. I have now seen all 10 episodes, and I stand by my initial review. But. I saw a glimmer of hope in the last episode of the first season. We just have to wait and see.

Barbarians
(2020)

Far better than Britannia
My heading says it all. I wrote a review on Britannia. A serie I forced myself through. This one I enjoyed. The romans actually spoke Italian. The germans spoke german. Good story.

The Purge: Anarchy
(2014)

This could happened!
If there is one country this actually could happen in, it is USA. I have seen all the Purge movies and the serie, and this one is by far the best of them. Frank Grillo makes all the differences in this movie. He is a actor that you want more of. He plays a bad ass role. You need entertainment, you want to see a possible future of USA. Watch this one. Enjoy!

The Passing Bells
(2014)

Not bad!
It's worth your time, but for me it goes in the category "seen it, not going to watch it again". Littlebit confusing in the beginning before I saw that one of the characters where german. They all spoke perfect english. Historical the great war was more gory, the trenches and the battlefield more of a living hell. This miniserie don't show that.

Eye in the Sky
(2015)

Listen up!
Don't, and I mean don't listen to those armchair critiqs wannabees! This is a movie to watch. Not your typichal Hollywood flic. Free of big American flags all over the place. No heroes. A military and political drama.

Avanpost
(2019)

Worth your time!
Refreshing movie not produced in Hollywood. Not full score, could advantageously be a little shorter. Credible story. But goes in among the movies that have been seen once and will not be seen again.

Tuntematon sotilas
(2018)

Can't be better!
Forget Hollywood war movies and series.

It doesn't get more realistic than this. Here we follow a Finnish infantry unit in the continuation war, after Germany invaded the Soviet Union in 1941.

Finland wanted to take back the territories they lost during the winter war 1939. The first filming came in the 50s, the next in the 80s and the last film in 2017. This is a mini-series based on the latest film. If you appreciate good realistic war movies, this is one of many good, made by the Finns!
