sergio_zamora-9510's rating
I felt like I needed to give this a rating even after 2 episodes. From the set design and costumes to the multidimensional characters and stories they tell all within a world that can only make you think of things like Alice in wonderland or any novel by Vonnegut. I don't want to give anything away but the show does have a story that is certainly absurd at first glance but wholly satirical on every detail it presents about certain mundanities in our day to day lives that really are ridiculous when given further consideration.
Excited to see more of that this world is like. Expect to be weirded out at times, but please give it a shot if you're at all interested.

Unlike any other holocaust film I've ever seen, and certainly one that demands much more of its audiences. This isn't a film that you can just watch casually, it demands your full attention because, as it is subtly pointing out, the people portrayed in the film are just as human as any of us. The film certainly strikes deeper into the social psychology and psychopathology that plays into reaching a point of unawareness where even the most logically horrific thing can be completely ordinary to you.
From the visual storytelling in forcing your eye towards specific shots, to the constraint in vibrance of life in the garden, you can feel both the death and the life in this space. Gut wrenching, shameful, but extremely self aware. This film will leave you wanting to explore more of why and how anyone is capable of normalizing such horrors.
