The Warriors
(2005)

Overall, Rockstar have got it right again, good Game 8/10
***************This Blurb may to some of you have spoilers but i have just outlined the general gist of the game with some of the good bits, no storyline or secrets have been told. This blurb is for people who are thinking about getting the game and need a little push in the right direction to do so.***************************************************

Having not seen the film, i can say that i approached this game as a game not a movie adaption or anything else, so i have rated this game purley as a game, so having no feelings for the original film means i wont be massively let down if it isn't quite like it, or the character representations are off and so on. With that blab aside, i saw the game advertised, and having faith in 'rockstar' i checked it out online, that w/e i purchased it based on the online review from the site and i was not disappointed at all. This is a classic 'rockstar' game, a game where you fight anyone, anywhere, with a range of interesting weapons, have massive brawls and of course some cool blood effects. It is a kind of mixture between State of Emergency, Dynasty Warriors, The Bouncer (dont let that fool you) and Grand Theft Auto just without the driving, with rugged and cleverly dark well portrayed 1970's Gang land New York maps. If you are a fan of any of the four games mentioned then this game should definitely be considered for purchase. There is a lot to do in the game, good multi-player options, free roam, Flashback missions and of course good main missions/story line. When you get an idea about the game you say things like, "it would be good if", or "they should of put that in it", well they seem to have thought a lot about what things would be good as part of the game, as you gradually unlock things your wishes get answered cos they have had some good ideas, (Trust me on this one) definitely on the multi-player side. The game is engrossing, entertaining and surprisingly as another gory beat em up not boring. There is just something about huge brawls and throwing people through shop windows isn't there. The gameplay is good, Could of been week and shoddy like The Bouncer or complex like Metal Gear Solid, but the buttons work well, varied moves with every player, has covered a lot of gameplay aspects, Team leading and commands, Stealth, various ways to complete missions, Player progression and more. The whole game plays well with a diverse environment for various destruction. It is a very interractable game. The graphics are also good, not the best but they work, as already said the environment is very good, you can see your player getting bloodied up as a fight commences, black eyes, cuts, bruises, blood on your hands after smashing an opponents head in to a car or against a Wheelie bin. The frame rate doesn't deplete even when there are loads of people on screen either. Overall good.

So as a game it is awesome a real genuine good game, straight up, Gameplayers and game connoisseurs this game is for you, i guarantee that whoever buys this game will be pleasantly surprised with what this game has to offer, a lot of good touches, it's just GOOD.Period. Cheers Rockstar! 8/10

Far Cry Instincts
(2005)

Good Game. An Xbox must have to be fair 8/10
This is a fine game in many ways, and yes Dual wield to boot. Finally dual P90's again. Bought this game cos it looked good, and it is, this is a good FPS with lots to do and a pretty world to do it in. The jungle bits are amazing, cos you can jump off massive cliffs into the sea, oooh what fun. I am glad that this game is good because to be fair FPS' recently have been poo, almost non existent, i can really say that Perfect Dark is one of the best in this genre and all FPS' should be compared to this landmark title as it was and still is so much fun, and playing FarCry is refreshing because it reminds me of the good old days. There are lots of weapons, transport, and other nice touches, ranging from the classic dual P90's (just like double RCP90's on GoldenEye (N64) classic), to commandeering a hang glider and setting jungle traps to take out the bad guys. Lots of fun. One of the best features is the map building section for multi player purposes. These maps can also be used for online gaming which rules. This game is an interesting venture and should be bought, guaranteed fun. 8/10

WWF: Hell Yeah - Stone Cold's Saga Continues
(1999)

Stone Cold at his best, acting or not!
This is a quality film, documentary or whatever you want to call it. Stone Cold has always been my favourite wrestler and when i received this vid for my birthday i was well chuffed cos i have never seen it any shops. The vid is a sort of behind the scenes vid but Stone Cold style, this is why it is hard to tell if it is staged or not, he manages to be extremely convincing in his ways "off the Camera" so to speak, it is better to believe this is actually real unlike the actual wrestling. There are also some quality moments from his career dating way back to when he was the interesting "stunning" Steve Austin in 1989. Most don't know he was in the WCW or even had a wrestling career before the WWF. Stone Cold definitely makes this vid a good watch because he keeps up his hard loud adrenaline filled self through out the video wreaking havoc in the back by abusing crew members and back stage staff, one guy even ends up being thrown into some sort of scaffolding which then collapses on top of him, very entertaining. This is a good watch for any wrestling fans especially Stone Cold fans and should definitely be viewed whilst supping a can of WHUUP ASS!! AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!
