NGK
(2019)

Casual Adultery
Why is that every second movie I watch these days has the male character involved in adultery? And his wife or gf doesn't even have the self esteem to leave him ever. Take, NGK or gully boy or CCV for instance. Everyone seems to be OK with this too 🤔

NONSTOP HARASSMENT
One would think that with so much talk films glorifying harassment would quietly reduce. But not in 2019, apparently. For once I want to watch : ▪ The actress as a successful businesswoman - Happy, proud and confident with no one to harass her. ▪ There's no song where the guy is "following" the actress all the time while she's trying sneak away. ▪ Guy asks out girl. She refuses. Both continue to have separate meaningful lives.

Good except..
I loved the trailer and have always been impressed by Zoya's work. However her being a feminist director, there are a few things that bothered me a lot. There's no way she'd have forgiven Murad for cheating on her so easily. We already have numerous movies like Biwi No. 1 and No Entry where adultery is hilarious and forgivable. 2. The woman playing Ranveer's mother is only 6 years older to him. *major facepalm*. 3. Fails the Bechdel Test spectacularly.
