The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius
(2002)

Still Holds Up Fairly Well
Jimmy Neutron is a show I loved for the longest time as a kid, and like a lot of other things, I outgrew it and lost interest in it.

Watching it years later as an adult, it is not a bad show. The animation is not bad, but comparing to other CGI at this time, it is dated and not as good. But what I like about the show is it still has its fun moments and fun episodes. The first season has a lot of good episodes, but I personally feel the show gets better with Season 2 when the plots and the conflicts of the episodes get more intriguing.

I like the majority of the characters. Some characters are a bit odd and zany, but most other characters are good, likable, and funny. It's one of those shows where when you get to know the characters a bit more, you end up liking them and even relate to them.

Jimmy, himself, is a pretty good main character. I like the creative inventions he makes. Sure, his inventions do cause mayhem (wether it's his fault or not), but Jimmy's personality and intelligence is what makes him work really well as a main character, and he isn't annoying either. His dog, Goddard, is awesome and probably my favorite side character of the show.

Even though there are other Nicktoons I prefer, I still like this show. It's not bad and it has aged fairly well.

SpongeBob SquarePants
(1999)

Overrated and Oversaturated
I loved Spongebob a lot as kid. I had seen every single episode for the longest time, owned quite a bit of merchandise, and it was definitely a big part of my childhood.

As an adult, the show in general just doesn't age that good in my opinion and is a severly overrated show. There are a good amount of episodes that I still like from the first three seasons, while there are some episodes from the first three seasons that haven't aged the best. Anything after the first movie is bad. It's when the characters got really unlikable, annoying, the episodes became tedious to watch, and ultimately wasn't funny anymore ot interesting to watch.

The late but great Stephen Hillenberg had the right idea of ending the series after the first movie, but here we are 20 years later and Spongebob is still heavily praised and is all over the place, when it should of ended a long time ago in my opinion.

I give this 5 stars because of a good amount of episodes from Seasons 1-3 that I still like and have some nostalgia for. But as a whole, the show has ran its course and should end already.

Family Guy
(1999)

My 2nd Favorite Show of All-Time
While The Simpsons is my favorite show because of the large variety and many fantastic things it offers, Family Guy is my 2nd favorite show next to it as it is basically a more adult version of The Simpsons, and it works perfectly. It has a ton of absolutely hilarious episodes, loveable and very funny characters, excellent animation, and terrific comedy timing with the jokes, cutaway gags, and parodies. Similar with The Simpsons, it is another show that I still watch despite it not being as great as it once was. Many people say this show was awesome before it got cancelled in 2002 and went downhill when it was brought back in 2005. In my opinion, the first three seasons were great, but I feel the best seasons of Family Guy are seasons 4-11. Since Season 12, there have been some great episodes, some that are just good, and some that are forgettable and could have been better. Just like The Simpsons, I feel this show should end soon since it's not as popular nor relevant like it used to be, and it's ran its course at this rate. But I will still continue to love and enjoy this show since I've been a fan of it since I was 5 years old.

The Simpsons
(1989)

My All-Time Favorite Show
The Simpsons is without a doubt my favorite T. V series of all-time. It has been for quite a long time and will continue to be. The reason is very simple. This show has a variety of many things. Whether it's the amount of hilarious and great characters, the large amount of episodes, the many astounding stories the show has told, and with all the celebrities that have guest started on it over the years, pop culture refrences, and even the insane easter eggs in each episode, this is a show that I feel has a ton to offer. Granted, the show is still going and many people find it irrelevant, I myself still enjoy the show a ton. I feel Seasons 1-11 are the best years, Seasons 12-20 have so many great episodes and some okay ones here and there, and since Season 21, there have been some forgettable, not-so-good episodes, but there still is, to me, some really good episodes and some genuinely funny moments that The Simpsons can still put out. Obviously the show has ran its course at this point and should end soon, but at the same time, I still love this show in general to death and will continue being my favorite show.
