Surviving Death
(2021)

I love the subject but...
I love the subject but it's nothing new. Better read the book by Pim van Lommel or other writers. This is more like some crazy individuals talking about their experiences. Like complot theorists. I don't believe them. But I do believe in near dead experiences! But this is just to much.

Secrets of the Saqqara Tomb
(2020)

Overdone
So sad that it's overdone. Real facts and a real discovery...but although this is real, this documentary makes it looks fake,

Marianne
(2019)

Good and different, but still the same.
Humor is on spot, horror is on spot and the acting is good especially because I don't know any of the actors.

BUT..... I'm from Holland and here we don't have dubbed movies, only subtitled movies. I think for me that is a gooooood thing. I understand most country's don't have subtitles, or people are used to stupid voice over dubbed movies. Dubbed movies for me takes ALL the charm away. Here we watch all movies, Korean, French, Spanish with subtitles and its everything! I don't know anything else. With the movies real language you can feel what the director/writer is doing..

And by saying that. Sometimes the series just a little to messy and chaotic. Many things are happening in a short time. Still it feels slow sometimes. That's strange.

But after watching the full series it's totally worth it! It's creepy, funny and sometimes disturbing. Sometimes it feels like a teen series but then you get some real gruesome scenes. I love the mixture of things. And after seeing the whole series I understand why the director/screenwriter has chosen this silly, chaotic, scary, heavy, sometimes stupid, gruesome, Shaky but also emotional kind of way.

This series just have it all! And that's what makes it strangely recognizable but also strangely unique. You should give it a try!

I loved it and I'm glad I'm used to subtitles

Chef's Table
(2015)

Quality cooking, But...
Amazing Chefs! All episodes have amazing chefs with outstanding talent. The slow pace of the show is sometimes good, because you really get to know the "food artists" and their background. It is special and one of a kind. But is just over dramatic. After Some episodes it gets really annoying! Although the cooks are absolutely fantastic in what they do, it feels like an over dramatic ego show. the cinematography is good, the chefs are amazing, really good food! But over dramatic to a point it is annoying. It is like : my tears are running down my face when I chop up the lamb. And when I crush that oyster, my whole life flashes before my eyes. Like...please shut up and do ur thanggg! It is all so poetic and over acted. But still a 7. Because it is something fresh and new; and with heart.
