Match
(2014)

Simple, yet powerful psychological thriller
Through a relatively common search - a son finding his unknown father and demanding answers, this movies shows the importance of tackling the deep reasons behind our most harmful behaviors.

For the son, this movie shows the perspective of self doubt, denial of early pursuits of happiness such as having kids and becoming violent and disrespectful towards others.

For the wife, this meeting is the last chance to save her marriage and throughout the journey she finds herself feeling trapped and finds answers that let her feel vulnerable and in touch with her emotions to the point that she admits to herself to her long lost goals and the realization of the things that matter to her the most.

However, the most profound discovery is the one of the potential father, who finds out that there is more to life than solitude and the passion towards his profession. His liberation may be the biggest, because the solitude that he maintains, may also be his way of punishing himself for choosing dance over family. At the end his quest to join a simple party with his colleagues shows the most rewarding step towards self liberation.

Gone Girl
(2014)

blue jasmine wannabe
The amazing performance by Cate Blanchett in the movie Blue Jasmine was explained for the mass audience. Plus, the women dominated movie was narrated from a male perspective, so everything in the world could be normal again. It was fairly predictable, and most of it has been seen in so many movies before. Only the last quarter there was a glimpse of great acting from the woman lead role, yet nonetheless it was not enough to convey a message or unleash an emotion. It was a typical Ben Affleck movie with a meaningless ending and no message whatsoever. Dull and unfinished. It is something that has been seen so many times before, that has lost all of its meaning.

Amantes del Desierto
(2001)

Refreshingly pure acting and nice plot
This is very nicely written, adventurous TV series that makes you wonder what will happen each and every minute of it, because the viewer is never certain how the characters develop. It is not monumentally long, yet it has all the twists to make you want to keep on watching.

The male leading role Andres Bustamante is well developed character and the acting of his part is the most genuine, sincere and believable that makes you fall in love with this young, courageous doctor who fights for the unprotected.

It is a love story about Andres- recently graduate doctor who practices medicine even though he does not have the diploma because he and his mother can not collect the money, yet his work is in order to help his neighbours.

The Good Doctor
(2011)

the essence of the movie - a story within a story
This review is all about the metaphor of the movie and a psychological depiction of the characters.

I was silently rooting for Dr.Black to keep on practicing medicine because he is a hard working, meticulous doctor who don't get the respect he deserves. It is the story of a dorky-bullied high school teenager who could never get the prom queen. It is one of those things, a person can not get over. Even though it is a serious, grown up movie it is all about proving something that was left unsaid. Even the mail nurse is portrayed as the typical bully who beats the nerdy kid and scares him off in order to give him the homework. It is funny how people can not get over some seemingly fleeting and childish things. I was fascinated with this movie because of this silent analogy that explains everything. If you see the movie through these lens, there is nothing left unsaid nor unfinished.

Arbitrage
(2012)

poor movie with no deeper value
This is one of those vain movies a person regret watching. If you want to waste your time with a movie that will leave you with nothing to take in or even think about - then go ahead. Otherwise, skip this movie that gives a glimpse of the lifestyle of the reach people who have both wives and mistresses and do illegal actions. Those characters are not elaborate, the film lacks deeper perspective instead of the cliché that rich people get away with crime, yet they lose the respect and adulation of their love ones which is what matters. It is all so superficial that does not leave the viewer with anything to take from it. The characters are stereotypical, the plot is not elaborate and it does not tell any story of the stock market well described other than some accounting illegal actions, which are also superficially told. All in all, wateful resources to make this movie.
