One Piece
(2023)

Don't be fooled
I'm truly avoiding writing anythong about new movies and series, just because netfreaks, derpney and such keep ruinnig everything they manage to touch.

I'm a fan of One Piece, and as soon as I saw netfreak announcing a live action, I knew they would ruin it.

And they did.

I know tha a live action of a anime, or any cartoon, just cannot be equal, for a million reasons.

But with all the money netfreaks have, One Piece should be A LOT better.

And, of course, should have been better in casting, special effects and specially the writing... Unluckly, as always, it sucks.

But, on the other hand - luckly - we all seen worst.

I'm not hoping for another season, but if netfreaks decide to do a second, maybe they'll put some more effort on it.

About the live action per se: if you already know the anime, watch it with your hopes down.

If you do not know, watch it and go for the anime. You will be surprised.

The actors try, but do not deliver.

The writing sucks.

Some effects are good, and some are just bleargh.

Thanks for reading, go for the anime.

Beast
(2022)

Too much hate in the reviews
First of all, it is a fiction.

The same people complaining about the lion, cheer up any movie with unending bullets, wounds with guts spilled (and yet, the character still fights). THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION!

The storie is about good damm poachers and a family (with a friend) If it was a disney (bleargh) animation, everyone would be happy.... There are some (obvous) flaws, but it is a GOOD movie to watch.

Good casting and direction, and good CGI.

A little spoiler, and a big truth: as always, it is human fault.

Watch it without prejudice or expecting a BBC/Discovery documentary.

You will enjoy it.

Where the Crawdads Sing
(2022)

Far away from medium
Another flick with a hype, but that's utter trash.

Swamp girl, abandonned by her parents, unnable to read, in a blink of a eye, learns to read, write and looks lika a mall teen, with silky skin and pearly teeth.

Bad direction and bad casting and a poor plot,. And the ending... as always, the book is WAY better. Unfortunately, this kind of adaptation is a commom place, but it shouldnt be.

The only explanation for all the hype is the producer - Reese Whiterspoon, and the musician - Taylor-Swift (is that correct?). Anything besides that is just, and I'm sorry for writing it, bad taste.

Unbelievable as it is, the poor director throws in some male characters (bad white male sterotype).

Truth be said, the book was violated.

Avoid it.

Sweet as Pie
(2022)

A little time out
In all movies lately, all we see is "woke" crap, misrepresentantion of good books, good comics and so on.

This movie is no master piece, of course, but it has a lightness that give a break from all the other dumbness from "Netfreaks", hollywood trash and its equals.

Worth a watch.

Run Hide Fight
(2020)

Worth a LOT
As other reviewer said: ignore the critics.

They tried to trash it for pure politics and the mental illness known as "wokenism".

Watch it and you will be pleased.

Prey
(2022)

Too much hope
I am a huge fan of Predator, since the very first movie and some comic books, and I was hoping for a real epic. The otherwordly mercyless hunter against the Great Comanches.

Well, all the "comanches" looked like skinny teens, and the Yautja looked like a crossing between a monkey and some other odd-shaped cranium animal.

Don't get me wrong, some of the actors were descendants from Great Tribes, but still...

Althought not looking like real Comanches, there were some good acting. Ms. Naru (sioux) was good, and her weapon of choice was very nice. The dog was awesome.

The Predator's weapons was not that good, and the helmet was a HUGE flaw. It was not pressurized... Real good looking, but flawed.

I don't know if there will another one, but the ending scene left a gap, when the revolver is given to a Elder from the tribe.

Resident Evil
(2022)

Simply "bad" is not enough
Imagine ALL the movies from the franchise.

Now, take way everything. Add some poor cast and bad direction.

The rotten cherry on the top is, of course, netfreak production.

Really, go watch (again) the movies, even the last one without Ms. Jovovitch (is that correct?) Seriously, almost anythong but rhis lame @ss series.

Malnazidos
(2020)

Another Netbulls**t
Could be good, anda could funnier.

But, as always, Netfreaks ruins it, with that "woke" movie.

Nice cast, but the directors did not have much to work with.

Resurrection
(2021)

Only for the cast (not all)
We have some good actors in this movie, but still falls short.

Kind of emotionless, and the history is, somehow, shalow.

We had way better adaptions.

Two little things: when you are being nailed on a freaking chunk of wood, you will scream your lungs out, unless you are already passed out. And you will be able to see some "woke" nonsense. Little, but it is there.

Panama
(2022)

Too much "nots".
Not a political drama. Not a action movie. Not a good production.

Not a good supporting cast.

Mel Gibson is the only real actor, and it surely was not enough to worth the time to wacht it.

Exploited
(2022)

Not a movie, per se
So, as I said, this cannot be called movie. It is a sequence of sexual encounters, privacy violation, filthy behaviors and ZERO plot.

The use of sexual innuendo, clearly, is a unknow territory for the director.

Also, the acting is pretty weak.

Walker
(2021)

(un)Walker
This is not a reboot or remake of Norris's Walker. This is a slow paced, cheesy, "actionless" drama from CW.

Most of the actors are below their game, probably due to the poor script.

Sasquatch (Padalecki) was WAY better in Supernatural.

Want to see some action, look for the original, with Norris.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
(2022)

True r@pe fof Leatherface
Could be a good terror flick, but when two girls, who can barely walk, talk and breath at the same time, start to use a 12 gauge and a AR, and the old gal yells "say my name", and survives after having a chainsaw gutting her and severing her spine.... I spent the entire movie hoping to see Leatherface chop up the main characters.

This movie does NOT deserves the name.

The only thing that was really enjoyable was de 3 from 4 kills, the bus scene and, of course, the beheading :))

Watch it only if you have nothing better to do.

Verdens verste menneske
(2021)

For a VERY specific audience
It is a (boring) film, about a young woman, who is lost. Of course she is. This is a truthfull portrait of the younger generation, who care more about labelling their insecurities, inventing "genres" and the never ending blabing about how sensitive they are.

Do not fall for all the positive reviews.

Go watch Sing 2. WAY better...

Adventures of Rufus: The Fantastic Pet
(2020)

It is for children with parents with brains.
As I said, it is for children.

And for the parents, that are not infected with all the "mental illness" that have spread trough the globe these days.

Ley your prejudice and racism aside (I'm talking to "those infected", of course) and watch it with your kids.

The Bitch Who Stole Christmas
(2021)

Just no
Terrible is a compliment.

This so called movie sucks big time.

Total waste of time and actors.

Everything, literally, is off.

Go watch To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar.

The Wonder Years
(2021)

Worth it
First of all: I would gladly pay a lot to watch a Fresh Prince, with only white people. Just to see the 8's and 10's drooling of hate.

The serie is good. Good acting, good actors. But clearly was made to explore, and maybe incite, the racial tensions that some sub-human SOBs are provoking and profiting from.

Let the stupidity behind, and watch it.

BMF: Black Mafia Family
(2021)

A few questions
Well, acting is good, and there's a good plot too.

Based on true events, howcome some reviewers are ladalling it racist or sterotyped?

The best character is ill explored, and "meech" is, as told by other reviewer, incoherent.

If you like crime stories, worth a watch. But know that is based on true events. It is not racist.

True Story
(2021)

Not all that
As always, Kevin is over the top. Not too much, but still... Directors fault.

Wesley Snipes is very good but, again, directors didn't know how to lead them.

The really downsize for me is the "bad white guy" that, not only netflix, but looks like ALL studios are shove in any movie. It sucks, it is not reallistic.

I can only imagine that all the 9-10 ratings is from legit fans of Kevin and/or never watched a good crime series. If you like good stories and directing, skip it.

If not, enjoy it. Ir has it's moments.

Stillwater
(2021)

Could be MUCH better
So, for those who don't know, or don1t care about real life crimes and convictions, this movie is a rip off from Amanda Knox's real life drama.

And Damon looks like a Hillbilly, almost brainless Bourne.

Anda Amanda is NOT gay. Yes, she is still alive.

Skip it.

Yellowjackets
(2021)

Just no...
Plot is hollow, casting a flaw.

Anyone with half brain know that women are not dumb the way the series made them look! For a show made by a woman, this is pretty lame.

This is Lord of the Flies with something from Ravenous.

And the cast (older and younger) have no ressemblance at all!

Just a big fail.

Black Friday
(2021)

Worth a watch
It is not a horror movie. It is a comedy with gore.

And has David "Ash" Campbell, who sometimes reminded me of John Cleese (google it if you do not a brain).

There is a character highly annoying, useless, that looks like badly inserted, just to cope with a mental illness that is spreading globaly. I'll not say who is it, but it is the totally off gay guy.

If have nothing to do, and nothing better to watch (wich is something unfortunately common these days), you'll have some laughs.

4400
(2021)

Why?
This is a remake. The original series (and WAY better) is from 2004.

So, again, why someone decided to do a remake, and a awefull one?

Bad dialogue, slow paced, boring. Acting not that bad, but tha's it.

Want to knkow the story? Go watch the original from 04.

Prisoners of the Ghostland
(2021)

Well...
Watched it with less than zero expectations.

It is not, of course, a masterpiece. But it is not as bad as some millionaire productions (Disney, lately).

It is almost as watching a live action nonsense anime, but with Nicholas Cage.

The figure in white and cowoay hat should've been Jeff Fahey.

Inside Job
(2021)

A 4, and that's it
Is it funny? No, not really.

Is it well done? The animation, surely.

Is it well written? Absolutely NOT.

Is it worth watching? Maybe. If you are looking for some mindless smiles at sometimes.

But, there is a good side. All those "wokeness" from netflix do prove something: the "white, dumb, privileged guy" still is capable of doing things that the "smart, intelligent, empowered" woman can't.

I hope this mental illness will stop one day.
