La sortie de l'usine Lumière à Lyon
(1895)

Another Lumier Video
Another Lumier video. Yes, this is a documentary. When I watched the movie, it surprised me that there were crowded work-outs even back then. It's like a view from the "Elmler Academiyasi" or "Koroghlu" subway station when scools and univercity begin. Ha - ha -ha 😁. Frankly, if we evaluate it as a movie or a documentary, we can not. But when you realize that it's just an image from the 19th century from a historical point of view, you realize that this is not an empty thing, but something historical and important. But I'm sure there will be people who say, what the .... is this, ?! I think movie lovers come across these movies during research, otherwise I don't think normal movie watchers know about this movie.

L'arrivée d'un train à La Ciotat
(1896)

1 Minute
Maybe every cinema lover has watched this movie. It is a very famous movie. Actually, it wouldn't be right to call it a movie, when we look at the time, it's just a 1-minute video. But it is obvious how important a movie it was for that time. A movie ? It was a miracle then. I even remember watching a colorful and HD version of it as today's technology develops. I would like to see those times. Is there a movie about the Lumier brothers? I think it would be interesting if I looked into it. Indeed, when you look at it now, you realize that you are watching something silly but also historical. We all read history, right or wrong? But this is real history.

Life of an American Fireman
(1903)

1903 ! ! !
I've heard a lot about this movie.

There was something about this movie in The Story of Film: An Odyssey documentary. It caught my attention and I watched it. Frankly, of course, it might be funny when you look at it now and boring even though it's 6 minutes, but that's history. 1903, i mean "wow" As much as I love cinema and movies, I didn't know there was a movie being made in 1903 and it surprised me. Camera, lens techniques, editing are new discoveries in this movie. It is one of the historically important films. But as I said, it doesn't mean anything now, you just realize that you are watching an ancient and historical movie. That's why this movie is important.

Explained
(2018)

Mostly "Explained" Couldn't Explain
I was hopeful.

But "Explained" doesn't explain a lot of things.

But let me tell you why I keep going. I think the topics are very good and trendy, although there are sometimes ok, sometimes good and generally bad episodes. For this reason, I continued to watch, I will watch the other seasons. By the way, the intro music sucks, who thought it was good and approved. It's like I hear the cow "mooow" all the time. I think "History 101" was a better documentary series. I said some of the topics were well chosen, but some were really bad and unnecessary. I think some parts could have been better, but it's like someone didn't let them 😉

The Haunting of Hill House
(2018)

Monster House
I love it.

I had heard the name of this series a lot, and it was said to be one of the best series on Netflix. First of all, congratulations to the director. Everything was pre-planned. The script is very good. Technical work has been very good. The acting is simply perfect. The kid actors and actresses played perfectly. Adults played perfectly. Carla Cugino is the star of this show. Casting is excellent. The childhood and adult versions of the acting have been very good both in terms of acting and in terms of face type. It was very good hoor series. It was also a very good sad drama as an addition to the horror series. I liked it very much. A very good, cleverly executed series. Congratulations ! ! !

The Karate Kid
(1984)

Some Movies are Getting Old
I watched it for the first time. Some movies are getting old. This movie is an old movie. Actually, there are a lot of cliches in the movie. I wasn't too impressed, but it's exactly the 80's movie. I liked the movie, but I wasn't impressed. I think this movie have become classics. Of course, there were things I didn't like. But overall it's an ok movie. Music was good. I like a few fighting tactics. I did Karate for 2 years when I was a kid, but the lessons were not like that, I never continued karate. Acting is 80's acting and satisfying. I also liked Miyagi's character. I think the tournament scenes of the movie ended too quickly. They could actually shoot epic there.

The Figo Affair: The Transfer that Changed Football
(2022)

What Would You Do if It Were You ?
I've never been a football fan. I started watching football very late and stopped after watching it for about 10 years. I don't watch more than 15 years. Football is not as fun as it used to be, in my opinion. One of the best players of the footbal was Figo.. When I started watching football, Figo was already playing for Real Madrid and the team at that time was great. Later I learned that Figo transferred from Barcelona. At the time, I didn't know how big of a deal it was. Yes, it was a huge transfer and one of the most interesting and sounding transfer in football history. I've never researched it deeply. It wasn't interesting to me, but I saw and watched this Spanish documentary on Netflix. It was interesting. It was interesting to see each person speaking their own truth. I didn't understand how Barcelona fans were spewing so much hate. Football can be toxic sometimes. Frankly, I loved watching Fenerbahce, Barcelona and Liverpool while watching football and I think I was fan of these 3 clubs. Yes, the same thing happened between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. Emre Belezoglu. But I couldn't understand. Traitor? No. For example, you can ask me, how would you react if Alex de Souza was transferred from Fenerbahce to Galatasaray? I would be upset. I'd be pissed, but if I was in the football arena, I wouldn't have thrown anything at him. Max. I would shout "yuuuuu". But I wouldn't give hate speech to his family. I never liked or understood this side of football. Why do people worship a team like a religion? What would you do if it were you?

As a documentary, it satisfied me. It was an interesting documentary. I haven't watched football or anything related to football for a long time.

Circle
(2015)

There Was Potential . . . . .
I was looking for a movie to watch on Netflix and this movie caught my attention. "Cube", "Saw", "Exam" and so on, movies like these intrigue me. The endings of these kind of movies are often not satisfactory. First of all, I continued to watch this movie by liking it, but I started to dislike it almost at the end. Yes, people are weird, bad and they will be selfish in that case. Always. That's one of the good things about the movie, that you think of yourself in that situation. For example, if it were me, what would I decide?

First of all, I didn't like the ending of the movie. I did not like at all. Among the dialogues in the movie, there were some good ones and those who were not.

For example : The lesbian woman thinks she should not be killed because she is a lesbian, but she can decide to kill someone else. The atheist was actually very right, but it turns out that everyone was a believer. Really ? What about the Muslim woman ? Wasn't she belivier too ? Prejudice ? Or what about racism ? Good subject chosen, there was potential, but I think it was not done well. Tired of the movie ? Absolutely not, the movie was trying to be smart, but it didn't happen.

History 101
(2020)

It's Okay
First of all, 20 minutes is very little time for a documentary.

When I was a student at university, I always watched at least one documentary or documentary series after I came home. I haven't watched in a long time. I missed this.

This documentary is my style. I was even intrigued when I saw his name on Netflix.

The topics are well chosen. Like I said, 20 minutes is too little. I would prefer 1 hour. A documentary between "6" and "7" point in my opinion. It's not very good, but I don't think it's bad either. Even in a subject that does not interest me, it is not boring. These are my thoughts. But that's my opinion based on the first season. That's for sure, I'll be watching this series until it's over. Interesting. There are a few things I don't like. In particular, most of the things are told in America's perspective or American standards. Metric system, temperature system used in Americ, but not in Europe or the other continents. This is a little frustrating.

Three Thousand Years of Longing
(2022)

Non-Disney Version of Aladdin
Visually it's great, but the script and immersion were weaker than I expected. Acting was ok. But it was a disappointment for me. It's like a non-Disney version of Aladdin :) I wasn't expecting more gin stories. There were few people in the cinema. Everyone was bored, but I was curious how it would end, but it didn't turn out as I had hoped. What did you expect if you ask..? More fun movie. Except for a few scenes, this movie was a fantasy romantic drama film. The film received generally positive reviews from "critics", but was a box-office bomb. Adapting the 1994 short story "The Djinn in the Nightingale's Eye" by A. S. Byatt. Elba stars as a djinn who is freed by a professor (Swinton) and recounts his life to her.

Crimes of the Future
(2022)

Instead of Throwing Away Plastics, Just Eat Them ! ! !
Frankly, it was more disappointing than I expected. It was a very strange and weird movie. Acting was good. Kristen Stewart in particular gave an interesting performance. It was a movie with potential, but this movie is not good. For me. Of course, there were many things that I did not understand, that I could not understand. There were good ideas. But overall it was a weird and weak movie. Although it's a D. Cronenberg movie. I have no positive thought about the performance artist. I love art, but I have never been able to understand performance art or performance artists. I think it's very . . . . .

Fall
(2022)

Don't Look Down ! ! !
There were things in the movie that I liked and things that I did not like. In general, the tower scenes were very good. Acting was also good. The story was very weak, but the "survive" scenes were okay. This movie will be forgotten and most people won't watch it a second time. Including me. It's a movie that would have a "6" rating, but I had fun and frankly I was nervous, so I think it's 7. I don't think I have a acrofibia, but the height scenes made me very nervous. It's very obvious that it was shot on green screen, but it's believable.

I thought the tower was a real tower, but it wasn't.

Zhou
(2022)

Trypophobia
It wasn't a bad movie. I understand that there are many people who liked it, but I watched a lot of movies like this. I was't alienated. It was very interesting that it was a Taiwanese movie. But its subject, shooting style, sound design, scaring with sound, jump scare and etc. Things like this exist in all Turkish djinn horror movies. I used to watch a lot of horror movies when I was in college. At the same time, I watched a lot of Turkish djinn horror movies. It was a little different from the "Dabbe" movies. It's a ok movie, but not for everyone. I was told that the last scene was very scary, frankly, it wasn't very scary for me. It is very difficult for those with a fear of trypophobia.

Inside the Mind of a Cat
(2022)

Repetitive Topics and Information, But Cats are Always Cute
As a cat dad and cat lover, I liked it. There was information I already knew. But I also learned new things. What am I doing right? What am I doing wrong ? Cat videos were also good. It's always beautiful anyway. I tried to watch it with my cat, but he didn't want to watch. Cat experts dive into the mind of the feline to reveal the true capabilities of the pouncing pet in this captivating and cuddly documentary.

A good jumping-off point for prospective cat people or veteran cat people who want to learn some new things about their furry friends. One of the things that the research, which the experts who were interviewed acknowledge has lagged behind dog research by about 15 years, has tried to show is that putting dog-like expectations on cats has been a mistake humans have done for a very long time. Cats do show affection and loyalty, but they're not there to please their people, like dogs are.

The Sandman
(2022)

Dark Fantacy
As a man who has never read this comic, I really liked it. It appealed to me a lot as the "Dark Fantacy" genre. Right after the 4th episode, I immediately went and ordered the first book. Maybe it wasn't good for people who read it, but I liked it. I really liked the acting.

I think Tom Sturridge is an excellent choice as "Dream", he suits the role very well. Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong, Stephen Fry, Gwendoline Christie, David Thewlis also did a great job. There were a few boring episodes, but overall I liked it. There were a few things I didn't like. I think the character of Johanna Constantine became Johanna due to copyright problems. It's not about the gender change, I didn't see any problem with it, but Jenna Coleman was very cute for Constantine , I couldn't match it. But Gwendoline Christie wasn't bad as "Lucifer" for example. Here are my ideas for the first season. I hope the other seasons will come.

Nope
(2022)

Yeap ? ? ?
Maybe the story was not very good, maybe the acting was average, maybe it was an average movie, but the cinematography was very, very good. It was very nice experience to watch in the cinema. I liked the movie. There were parts that I didn't understand, but overall it's an "ok" movie. The sound design was also perfect. As a story it was an average. Some answers are not given in the movie. The mystery was good, but why does that "alien" exist ? Why did it come? What was that ? And ...

There were some "jumpscare" scenes, which didn't make me very happy. Is Jordan Peele a very good director? I do not know... But he continues to do interesting work.

Flight
(2012)

Conscience
It wasn't a bad movie.

It's a long and serious movie, but they added some humor to the movie. Frankly, John Goodman was great, but I didn't like his character. The other actors did a good job. Denzel was excellent. Robert has done well as a director. The accident scene was realistic. But I wouldn't put it in an airplane movie category. This is a drama movie. Alcoholism is one of the major problems right now. I drink alcoholic drinks, but I've never been close to alcoholism, I hope I never get close. Honestly, the movie did surprise me. The captain is obviously not a good person, but the ending surprised me. Conscience is a good thing.

Orphan: First Kill
(2022)

Use CGI with Deaging ! ! !
I really liked the first movie. It was a super movie. The twist at the end really surprised me. I was surprised to hear that the second movie will come out and will be prequel. Because the you know... Isabelle is 25 years old. Yes I thought they will us cgi or deaging, but they didn't. I wish they did, in some scenes it is very obvious that she is a grown, adult woman, not a child. The story was predictable. There's a twist in this movie too, but it happens too quickly. That's why you can guess the end of the movie in the middle of the movie. I think the acting was a little weak. Except for Isabelle, she again did a great job. Overall it was not good movie. There was no need, the story was weak, there was no mystery. My rating is 5.5 / 10.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
(2013)

Cool Cool Cool Cool
It was a very good series. It was a fun, funny, excellent character series. Far from sit-com clichés. I can't find anything else to write, it was so good and great. The opening scenes were generally very good. I will miss this series. The acting was perfect...Last season was a little weak. There were a few episodes where they were terrible. But the series had an excellent finale. There was one character in the series that I didn't like at all, and that was Gina. She was a very annoying and boring character, but Chelsea Perreti played it very well. I had heard the show was funny and entertaining, but I hadn't started watching it. But at a time when my work was busy, I started watching it to relax and have fun, and while I was watching this series, I couldn't watch any other series.

Cool Cool Cool Cool.

Bullet Train
(2022)

Lemon & Tangerine
It was very enjoyable to watch in the cinema. Absurd, comedy, action is very good. The script is ok, I like the twists. Acting was very good. I also liked the action and fight scenes. Although it was a silly movie, it was a fun movie.

I Am Groot
(2022)

It is a very difficult production for translators.
I gave 6 points because the animation looks good, but actually it should be less.

It didn't seem fun to me, it was even unnecessary.

More like a "cute-ish" work to sell more Groot toys.

Ragnarok
(2020)

Modern Scandinavian Myth
Yes, it's not a perfect series, but it was a series with high viewing pleasure for me. I like the Scandinavian myth and I loved its modern adaptation. The story is okay, the acting is overacting in some scenes but overall ok. I'm looking forward to the third and final season. I like it.

If Genious Software Developer Made a Movie :)
Actually, I got bored, but at the same time I wondered why I didn't understand the movie. Well, this movie was written and directed by a software developer who is perfect in mathematicsa and made fly simulator. I mean "wow". Me and probably other people are not as smart as Shane Carruth :) It is very realistic compared to other time travel movies. Some movies are boring to watch, but it's more fun to analyze the movie and read about it. I think this movie is one of those movies. The budget is too low for a movie. Colors are mixed. Sounds are bad. Dialogues are confusing. The movie moves very slow. But after examining their analysis, you realize that it is actually a very well-written, but not well-made film.

Maybe you should watch this movie a few times. Probably this movie has become a cult movie as well.

Sputnik
(2020)

Soviet Alien
Definitely a boring movie for some people. But not for me. It's a simple but different movie inspired by the movie "Alien". I like slow, psychological sci-fi movies. The plot of the movie was also good. Low IMDB rating. I don't know because it's a Russian movie? Come on. . . Don't do such things. I think it's a very good movie. The acting is excellent, the atmosphere is great. The music fits very well with the movie. The alien design is not bad and the cgi is well. There's a twist in the movie, but I don't think it's done right because most people, including me, didn't get it. When I was reading articles about the movie, I understood it and said "aaaa". It's very logical. The movie is available on Netflix now, but it would have been better if I had watched it in the cinema, but I guess it was the time of the pandemic. Anyway, there is a lot to write, but as I mentioned before, if you like movies like this, watch it. Of course, I found logic errors in the movie, but not many.

Hush
(2016)

Slasher but there weren't slasher cliches
It was an interesting movie. There were many logic faulty.

And this is what I liked in the movie, there were no slasher cliches. It's a realistic movie. But why a deaf a person living in that place ?

Kate Siegel was amazing.
