Trolls
(2016)

Will keep kids entertained, but grown-ups with critical capabilities will probably despise it
I very firmly believe that Trolls is the summation of cinematic garbage. It is only for one specific reason that I give this "movie" more than 1 star, and that is because it will most likely entertain your children. Where to even begin? At the beginning we are introduced to the main antagonists, the Bergens. It is rather unfortunate that most of the Bergens are more fleshed out than the main characters. Who are the main characters, you may ask? The titular Trolls. The Trolls can hardly even be called characters. None of them have any personalities, and I could just barely tell them apart from each other by their physical traits. There was ONE character I did not despise at the beginning, the character of Branch, a Troll who refuses to be happy like the rest of the village. This character was the only thing keeping me from falling asleep and completely despising this movie. However, he eventually is given a sob-story background, and becomes yet another of the cookie-cutter personalities infesting this picture like lice. In addition, the script is awful and generic, and the film cannot even decide what tone it wishes to take. Finally, my biggest gripe is that the Trolls are basically invincible. They are a community of Mary Sues and Gary Stus, who cannot seem to ever be harmed, even if they are repeatedly attacked. How did Dreamworks expect audiences to be emotionally invested in the narrative, when the main "characters" are never in any danger? I cannot recommend this movie, unless you wish to entertain your children for a short while.

Doctor Who
(1963)

Best Sci-Fi Show Ever!
Doctor Who was my childhood. This show was, and still is, awesome. Right from the start, it was set apart from sci-fi shows at the time. This show was originally intended to be educational. But all that changed one fateful day in 1963. Yes, that's right, I'm talking about... the Daleks.

These monsters were one of the few things from sci-fi that could illicit pure, unadulterated terror in me. Other monsters eventually cropped up over the years, like the Cybermen, Sontarans, Silurians, Sea Devils, the Master, the list goes on...

In short, there is a reason this show has spawned countless spin- offs, a TV movie, and has lasted for 50 years.

It is because it is a staple of British television. Even cancellation couldn't stop this gem.

After 16 years in development hell, barring the aforementioned movie, Doctor Who returned.

House Hunters
(1999)

Full of Endless Complaining
I have now seen a few episodes of this show, and at first I thought, 'I'll watch at least 10 episodes before making a judgment.'

Well, here is the judgment.

Each episode contains a family looking for a house. Sounds like a good idea. But where it falls apart is the people.

They endlessly complain about the most trivial details.

Two of my least favourite quotes from a family on this show are: "I don't like the basement" "I don't like dining rooms. They're a waste of space." In response to the first quote, just don't go to the basement! In response to the second quote, this is a dining room, a deeply rooted convention.

But what makes these complaints even worse is that these houses are incredibly expensive. People, you have the opportunity to buy an expensive house. Be even a tiny bit grateful!

In summary, this show is full of endless complaints.

I wish I could rate this negative with all the being of my soul. 0/10!

EDIT: The exact same can be said for House Hunters International.
