The House in Between 2
(2022)

Balls
If you don't want balls rolling down the stairs, or dolls falling, don't place them precariously on uneven steps?? I love Steve Gonsalves and I'm a huge fan of the og Ghosthunters show, but I just don't understand why this family claims to not be able to live in this house. Nothing scary seems to be happening, not scary enough to scare me away from my home. If you don't want to hear spooky organ music, don't have an organ in your house. I'm sorry for the home owner's loss of her daughter, but I don't feel like this is "the most haunted home in America". I don't think there was enough "evidence" for one movie, never mind two.

The Falling World
(2022)

What?
What a poorly acted excuse for a a movie. What actually was it about? I had no feelings except contempt for all the characters. Why did they do what they? Who knows. Just a psychotic woman with enough money to get away with doing whatever she pleases, I guess. The only thing that I didn't hate was the setting, which is a beautiful location, and the "movie" takes place in autumn. Everything else was random people standing around smoking and talking about the mysterious missing girl. Lark's background story makes no sense, and that's basically the only character development attempted in the entire film.

The People We Hate at the Wedding
(2022)

Awful human beings
The only character I gave a hoot about is Eloise. Kristin Bell plays a bratty home wrecker, Alice, who is jealous of her rich sister, Eloise. Her brother is a horrible whiner. The only nice person is the guy the home wrecker meets on the airplane, and she treats him like crap at first. Maybe she didn't like him because he didn't have a wife and baby at home. They never really explain why the British sister is disliked so much, other than the fact that she's rich. The mother is also horrible, which does kind of explain the terrible humans she raised, and the oldest girl didn't live with her full time so she became a better person than her siblings.

Infinite
(2021)

Just terrible
The car he's driving at the beginning when he dies is clearly not old enough to correspond with his current age. I could not get past this fact and the movie only got worse from then on. I mean, how hard would it be to make it more accurate?

Manifest
(2018)

Can't get past the age difference in the twins.
The sister is obviously ten years older than the boy, not five. That one simple plot hole ruins this whole show for me. If they can't be bothered to cast a girl five years older than the boy this obviously isn't the show I want to watch.

Dark Places, Deadly Illusions
(2021)

Perfectly terrible
There is not one redeeming quality in this entire movie....awful from star to finish. I only watched the entire movie become I couldn't find the remote (I was sitting on it). The whole falling in love with the babysitter, buying her bras??? So creepy. I'm a nanny and my boss has never taken me bra shopping. I'm going to ask her about that tomorrow.

The Vanished
(2020)

Well, thee is a twist at the end, I'll give it that.
It WAS nice to see Jason Patric and Peter Facinelli again. Just a bit unbelievable that they wouldn't perform a thorough search at the get-go, and a proper background check. Why wouldn't they have searched the buildings and campers nearby right off the bat. Also....the lake??

Virgin River
(2019)

Ugh
Like a never ending Hallmark movie. Does anyone actually live life with flashbacks running through theirs heads? So predictable and irritating.

What We Do in the Shadows
(2014)

One of my favorites
I have seen this movie probably thirty times. Every time I watch it I find something new. It's so inventive and subtly hilarious. Just genius.

Centigrade
(2020)

15 miles from their hotel
So when she talks to the father Matt yells "we are fifteen miles east of our hotel". Who the hell would stop driving after fifteen miles? Is he a toddler that needs his nap? Break a damn window! I've never seen two stupider people. I'll just wait here until hopefully someone rescues me instead of trying to help myself and my pregnant wife.

A Bad Moms Christmas
(2017)

Worst movie I've seen in a long time.
I was trapped at thanksgiving and couldn't change the channel. This was the absolute worst movie I've seen in a very long time. So unbelievably stupid. Some beefs I have: that one mom who won't let her mother live in the same state as her even though she's a widow and has no other family. What a cold b*tch. Also, the mother was able to close on a house and relist it all in two days time. The whole dance scene at Christmas dinner was so cringy, it might just be the worst scene ever made. What an embarrassment for the actor. Why was Susan Sarandon even in this toilet of a movie?

PEN15: Opening Night
(2020)
Episode 7, Season 2

Creepy
It's very creepy seeing grown women throwing themselves at little boys, but that's not the worst part. This show portrays middle school girls as vapid and boy obsessed. Literally, they talk about nothing except boys.

A Kid Like Jake
(2018)

Jake? I don't remember seeing anyone named jake.
Why don't the ever show the kid's face? It's hard to feel for a character that never appears on screen.

Unsolved Mysteries
(2020)

Hate this format.
I started with the last episode. They spend forty minutes interviewing a bunch of random people talking about other random people and they don't give you a damn clue about who is who. About halfway through the episode they start telling you what it's all about.

The Wrong Missy
(2020)

Seriously?
David Spade with all of these beautiful women? Give me a break. At least make it a tiny bit believable, maybe a good looking 55 year old guy, not this weasel faced nobody.

2012: Ice Age
(2011)

Worse than Sharknado
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, they found the airplane. "Look for a crop duster set up"? Crop dusters in greater NYC? Every aspect of this movie was the worst part of every movie that I've ever seen. Twilight was better.

February
(2015)

Oh come on.
Are we really supposed to believe these are the same people? Did they give her a complimentary facial reconstruction in the psychiatric hospital? The only resemblance is the shade of hair dye, and even that is not a good match.

The Rainbow Experiment
(2018)

Great actors, terrible movie.
This could have been great if they had stuck to the actual storyline. Instead it became very convoluted and confusing, the timeline was all over the place. I just wanted to follow the kids and what happened to them. I don't really know how it ended, too.

Market Value
(2017)

Vertigo
Honestly, I could not watch this movie but I did listen to it. The way the camera was constantly moving made me sick to my stomach. There comes a point when it became ridiculous. Did all the cameramen have Parkinson's? The characters are so unlikable and so poorly acted I really had no compassion for any of them.

The Captive
(2014)

So very bad.
The only positive thing I can say about this movie is that Ryan Reynolds and Rosario Dawson are in it. I was so confused for the first thirty minutes I had no idea what was going on. The timeline was so disconnected and the things the kidnapper did made no real sense.

And why does the female kidnapper look exactly like the wife? At least dye her hair brown or something.

Black Widows
(2016)

Terrible
I don't see anything cute or funny about murdering four guys. Granted the first guy deserved it, the other two were jerks but didn't deserve to die. The last guy was a cop doing his job. How is this adorable? If this movie were about men killing women it wouldn't have been acceptable. And how were these three morons not caught? Totally unbelievable movie and a waste of my time. Bad acting as well.
