Short summary; Boyz N the Hood is an exceptional movie that is able to stick to its screenplay with legendary performances by various known actors and actresses and the depiction of African Americans during the early 1990's are absolutely realistic.

Unlike most hood films, Boyz N the Hood accomplishes in delivering us messages that will assist numerous young potential individuals who will understand the devastating consequences of getting involved with gangs.

Although there were barely any violence, the themes and the performances are what makes this film stand out to most 'violent hood' movies e.g. Menace II Society.

Menace II Society portrays urban hood life during the early 1990's perfectly and outstandingly. Unlike Boyz N the Hood, the film gives us an inner perspective on hood violence and the bloody consequences of certain individuals and may I say, they have done it fantastically. The cast members played their role momentously and their performances were exceptional, particularly Tyrin Turner and Larenz Tate.

Although the consistent violent scenes, the movie puts realism in several successful ways and that is why this is one of my favourite films of the 1990's. Powerful and poignant.

This has to be one of the most intense, dramatic and most vibrant episode of Season 3. It's filled with extremely dramatic scenes, a lot of fighting and so much excitement in every scene! For example, Nessa and Tiana fighting after their showcase, Cookie and Luscious having at it close to the end of the episode! It's definitely a must-see episode this year, I guarantee you!

Loved this episode and the interactions between Cookie and Jamal, seemed emotional enough for me to slightly cry. The dialogues were outstanding and intense, Luscious still provides the antagonistic nature of every episode including this so a very fabulous mid ending to Season 3.

We finally get to see who dies after the intense cliffhanger from Season 2 and that was very shocking. The lovely Rhonda is inadvertently killed by falling down brutally onto a car from a balcony and that is something that darkened the tone of Season 3. Cookie lyon still impresses us with her superb and queenie dialogues!

Perfect, well-written and edited beautifully. The graphics in this game is so shockingly magnificent! I never knew we humans are capable of making a game like this. GTA V enters the new generation of video games in a perfect note, filled with violence and fantastic dialogues!

Let's talk about the three protagonists now

Franklin:

Brave and highly intelligent but always gets dragged into the world of gang-related problems due to the interests in the drug world of his friend, Lamar. His personality is very interesting and what he has to say to whoever he is talking to is so vile and honest. He has the capability to become a successful businessman but clearly chooses not to. I like his personality and I think he has the strongest out of the three.

Michael:

Very shattered and always on the edge to being alone and suicidal. Like franklin, he has the ability to do well in his future but retirement is always what he wants; well, until he is forcefully dragged into the world of crime and violence. In my opinion, I would say that he can be lovable and hilarious with his thoughts and words, but he is always in the negative side which brings me down as well. His friendship with Trevor is very elusive, as in they can change their feelings towards each other; Funny or Angry. Interesting life he has but is always somehow grabbed into problems.

Trevor:

This character has to be the most violent, aggressive and most uncontrollable person I have ever witnessed. This is odd and crazy for me to say but he is such an interesting psychopath, he has the audacity to change his emotions and his feelings towards someone even though most say his mind is deluded. He is both a psychopath and a sociopath, and that is what I find most intriguing about him. His friendship with Michael is something I find shockingly hilarious, he is rude and disrespectful and then he becomes supportive and caring to him. Out of the three characters, I will say he is the one person that does not disappoint me whatsoever.

Grand Theft Auto V has shown many aspects to what a person can or cannot do. What I just said is dumb lol!

GTA IV is an excellent entrance to the GTA series, it not only provides an open world in the fictional city of Liberty City where violence and gang-related conflicts have sunken the city's reputation, it also provides a darker and more complex plot and atmosphere. I think that GTA IV is the most interesting, exciting and fun-filled GTA game out of the others. Not only does it gives us the ability to freely walk around the five borough of Liberty Coty, but it also sets a subtext which tells you to not possess drugs or weapons as it just demonstrated the consequences. Unlike GTA V, the characters in the game (like Niko) have a intriguing personality and has more sympathy.

GTA IV, the game which never disappoints.

BrOTHERHOOD demonstrates its strong themes in a thought-provoking, poignant and satisfying conclusion to the grime gang street drama.

Usually, a third film would either be terrible, showing the lack of character development or a weak plot. But this film has thankfully avoided all of it. Giving us more of the lifestyles and the insides of inner-west London and the choices young youths make. This review won't be long but all I can say is that BrOTHERHOOD has improved dramatically over its predecessors, providing us a much darker and complex tone filled with shocking moments.

The only thing that I found uncomfortable or unnecessary is the nudity and the sex scenes. It must be really, really lucky that the BBFC gave this film a 15 certificate because most films similar to this would receive a 18 certificate. The nudity scenes were really unnecessary or unneeded, it only just gave us less comfort or giving a awkward moment to the audience.

Overall, I think BrOTHERHOOD has given the UK a much cynical, well- written film packed with emotional scenes and a strong performance by Noel Clarke, not to mention the pure cinematography!

Best Friends Whenever starts off with the two best friends, Cyd and Shelby, accidentally got zapped with some kind of taser-machine and find out they have the capability to time-travel to time periods that they choose to.

The first episode went to a good start to the series but as it continued, each plot of each episodes were going a bit weak and not very understandable, leading to the point where it unknowingly duplicates some of the jokes from previous Disney Channel TV Series. I would say the series is far better than Stuck in the Middle but it isn't. The characters weren't properly introduced, the jokes were extremely weak that the laughter was used frequently, even when it isn't funny but I will say that the visual effects has greatly improved and seemed realistic compared to other DC TV series.

Not a great TV series but not a bad one.

Thrilling, sophisticated and dark-toned, Suicide Squad delivers a big improvement over the DCEU, with Margot's portrayal as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's joker. What the critics say is a lie, the film is awesome, exciting and definitely fun to watch, it definitely improved over Batman v Superman, adding some humor and a less darker cinematography.

Enchantress was certainly my favourite, the surprise she turns out to be the main villain and her powers are just extraordinary! Cara Delevingne's portrayal was fabulous :) Amanda Waller just demonstrated such ruthless power, determination and antagonistic behaviour which I was extremely pleased about.

Now.. Will Smith. Many thought it was a disaster he was cast as a villain / anti-hero but his acting was pretty impressive. Same goes with Jai Courtney, both showed a big surprise to their acting.

I wouldn't really listen to what the critics say, this film is extremely dark and hilarious but I only gave it a 9 out of 10 because I thought it could've improved slightly, particularly the Joker's screen-time. He had about 25-30 or more minutes which wasn't enough but other than that, one of the best films of 2016 and certainly the best out of the DCEU (possibly till Wonder Woman <3)

However, there were some weak plot holes. Especially when they revealed that Enchantress is the villain of the film. The worst part is that Joker's screen-time was limited and most of the movie was cut out, the majority of the trailer scenes were not even in the film itself. Especially the car chase with the batman, it was so short, not as long as I really hoped. Still, the film did deliver a wonderful masterpiece with its CGI and acting.

Suicide Squad, a film which displays a talented cast and adds humor than previous DCEU films but needs to improve its plot and writing.

Considering that this film wouldn't meet the expectations I had, it actually did. It's very hilarious, funny and interesting at the same time. Ice Cube demonstrates his character very seriously and strongly, same goes with common and regina hall. In a torn=up society in chicago, this film is one of the best of the comedy genre.

Nicki Minaj's portrayal as her character is practically the same as herself, attitude-based, flirtatious (especially to common's character) and very talkative. I think she did it well, certainly a big improvement to her acting career from The Other Woman.

This film just has it all, very sophisticated and brilliant with its direction and personalities from each of the characters. In a gang- piled city where shooting takes place frequently, this film shows how easy it is to make change and never give up what you started.

Barbershop: The Next Cut, the film which inspires you in the future t bring about change.

I was quite hoping this film was going to be as similar to 1999's Tarzan but wasn't what I expected.

The Legend of Tarzan actually starts a year after Tarzan or John Clayton, whatever his name is, leaves the jungle with his beautiful wife (which she is actually), Margot Robbie as Jane. The film started to go a tad slow and was a bit boring. The film is just difficult to keep up with, nothing makes sense and the plot is just sluggish and confusing, very weak also.

Alexander Skarsgård's portrayal as Tarzan seemed a bit odd and dull though, his character was difficult to understand for me and what he thinks is best, makes him more wounded and weak. But Margot Robbie's portrayal was lovely and understandable. She showed her character as being lovable, caring and very rebellious which I thought was intriguing.

Although this film showed many errors in its path, I think it was an average, mediocre film that showed a lot of scenes that were just.. dope.

The Legend of Tarzan, a film that isn't as similar nor close to its animated 1999 version.

A hip-hop mogul must choose between his three sons who are battling for control over his multi-million dollar company, while his ex-wife schemes to get what's hers.

This series is beautifully written and played by the actors in the most astonishing way ever. It takes music somewhere better than ever. The manipulation of Taraji's character is just mind-blowing, I love the way she tells her sons the right thing and the wrong thing. She's seriously someone who you would side with, her brutal and manipulative nature just makes you get intrigued on her. Cookie Lyon is one of my favourite characters and one of the most iconic characters ever created. This is mainly because she just demands anything and if she doesn't get what she wants, she goes rogue and defies those who stand in her way of victory. It's just interesting for a character to seem like that.

This series also takes discrimination seriously. Unlike other series, we manage to see gay people, lesbians, bisexual people and I find that courageous and strong-willed for a series like Empire to portray those kind of people who are still discriminated in society.

I gave it an 8 out of 10 because I thought it could improve a bit more, for example the sense of humour on every character, not just the protagonist. All I see is Cookie with the humorous jokes and moments while the three sons and Luscious aren't as funny or laughable as they seem. Hakeem, the youngest of the three sons and the money-obsessed kid, seems a bit clingy and spoiled and I find that irritating sometimes. Andre, the oldest of the three, is portrayed as the business person but never seems to be contributed in music and where he works, mainly focuses on music producing.

Jamal, the middle of the three, has to be one of the most courageous, brave character in the majority of the series and particularly, in any series. He has the full courage to try and come out as being gay but his homophobic father prevents him but I think that's brilliant for him to come up with that. Society is just spoiled and brutal nowadays and Empire portrays real life and music in the best and possible way.

Empire, the series that has what you need to know about society and music.

After the success of Kidulthood, this film talks about Sam Peel, Six years after KIdULTHOOD, he is released from jail for killing Trife, he realizes that life is no easier on the outside than it was on the inside and he's forced to confront the people he hurt the most.

It's a surprise for the adults six years after they were into drugs, sex, money and robbery, they have matured (well, some of them .-.) and have a better life to secure. It's a bit depressing to see Sam leaving jail and being confronted harshly by the people he hurt the most, including Alisa and Jay. This film is great to watch over and over again but not as great or powerful as Kidulthood. However, the themes of this film are astonishing and the new characters, including Sam's brother, are improved and different towards the characters from Kidulthood.

This film talks about Sam's release from jail after killing trife or trevor, whatever his name is. He wants peace but he isn't getting any. It's just a sad thing to witness someone who killed a certain person that was dearest to others is being hunted by them for revenge. The only thing I learnt from this film is that revenge won't do anything good in your life. Revenge is what you want but is it something that you will be pleased about once you done your mission? Jay's hunger for revenge is extremely inevitable, but what he doesn't know is that if he kills Sam, it's not like trife will resurrect. It'll just make him more depressed and torn apart. It's just miraculous to see how the characters from its predecessor have moved on and separated for a better life but not forgotten what occurred when they were younger. Such a film, such..a..film.

Adulthood, the film that shows themes to remember.

In Mission: Impossible 5, Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate - an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

I thought I liked Ghost Protocol better because of its location and the pace but this film is just outstanding with the action. Unlike the other action films, this one really pulled off stunts that are life-threatening and it paid off. The organization that are targeting the IMF and plotting to dissolve it are really intelligent with their masterminds and etc. I don't have much to say about this film since there's nothing for me to say but it's the one film of the summer that you might want to see, if you're interested in action and drama.

Mission: Impossible 5, the film that provides action but not an improvement.

Although this film demonstrates highly inappropriate scenes and moments which aren't suitable for people under 12, it really does show the consequences of real life and choices. I live in London and this film is extremely accurate with the actions of young people nowadays in London, especially the fact those kids use drugs and give blowjobs to get drugs which is extremely unacceptable.

Ignore the low rating because this film has it all it takes to portray londoners nowadays. Noel Clarke is just the best at writing a story about this, especially his acting. To me, he portrays his character smartly and accurately. Aml Ameen's character is one of the best, it's just sad to see him die at the end but that shows the consequences if you are part of trouble these days. The majority of the characters are 15-16 years old, it's just unacceptable to see them do inappropriate choices that can damage their body.. They have a choice whether to have a better future or to just die alone and be addicted to drugs. I just love this film truly, it portrays real life in London and shows that we teenagers need to make better choices than those characters.

Kidulthood, the film that reflects real life in a city.

Fearing that the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on the Man of Steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs.

Well, this film kind of disappointed me.. I mean, the new creation of batman is very astonishing and wonder woman's first theatrical appearance is very breath-taking. But what I am absolutely concerned about is the whole plot?

The film's title says in clear words "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" yet in only of the 2 hrs, we see the rivalry between the two iconic superheroes but for around 10-15 mins, we actually see them finally fight and that's towards the end. Yet, they decide to reconcile and team up when Clark says "Martha!", comprehending that Superman isn't the real threat because of him saying Martha? I can completely understand that both of their mothers are called Martha but why would that make batman come to his senses that Superman isn't the real threat to humanity?

The film is not bad but needs a lot of improvements over its characters (apart from Wonder Woman and Batman) and their true meaning of contributing to the film. Lex is not even scary neither showing his antagonistic behaviour properly. The bombing of the capitol which killed Senator Finch was really depressing but that doesn't show how menacing he is, it shows how stupid and corrupt he is to do that.

What I truly loved is the intro of Wonder Woman (in her costume), that gave me the chills completely. I think Gal Gadot is the perfect person to play her, she's also accurate of the character's background and life.

Overall, I would give the film 7 / 10, mainly because of its confusing plot but great visual effects and brilliant portrayal of Wonder Woman and Batman.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Should be called Batman and Superman: United for Justice), the film that creates perfect visual techniques but a weird plot that misleads the audiences' attention.

Living large and loving life, Po realizes that he has a lot to learn if he's going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor. After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po must transition from student to teacher and train a group of fun-loving, clumsy pandas to become martial-arts fighters. Together, the kung-fu brethren unite to take on the evil Kai, a supernatural warrior who becomes stronger with each battle.

I am really proud the way they did not take out the humour in this film, especially turning the antagonist into a laughable but quite terrifying character. It follows the film's predecessors greatly and continues to outshine all the other dreamworks' films. This film has it all you expect. The storyline is just brilliant and dazzling, and it follows perfectly from Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2's storyline to this, while now Po is the master of his master.

Perfect film, quite hilarious and exciting to watch. Filled with plenty of mild action for the kids and quite an improvement over Kung Fu Panda 2, since the previous film provided a darker story but was also laughable.

Kung Fu Panda 3, a film with a whimsical sense of humour.

London has fallen talks about after the death of the British prime minister, the world's most powerful leaders gather in London to pay their respects. Without warning, terrorists unleash a devastating attack that leaves the city in chaos and ruins. Secret Service agent Mike Banning springs into action to bring U.S. President Benjamin Asher to safety. When Asher falls into the hands of the sinister organization, it's up to Banning to save his commander in chief from a horrible fate.

This film has to be one of the most poignant, plaintive and intense action film of the action genre. It captures the pure period of war and terrorist attacks. This is an improvement over Olympus Has Fallen and offers the same mindless thrills, and in true sequel fashion the stakes have never been higher. But what I thought was the most controversial scene was the murders of the world leaders. I mean, it's not in everyday life that killing all the world leaders in less than 3 mins can be highly possible for a terrorist and his group.

However, the plan to lure the leaders in was really clever. Especially what I realised the British prime minister was murdered by them and decide to kill the other leaders in retaliation to their society. Jacobs' death was actually the most poignant for me, it really hit me the moment when she said to Butler's character "Stay alive", it made me reflect back to the last hunger games film when Katniss said to peeta "stay alive". It shows how war can actually hurt the lives of your closest ones, especially someone who you work with.

The critics' point of view seemed fair though, considering most of them are old and they only like films that are based on real life. But ignore what they say most of the time, this film has it all for you.

London Has Fallen, the film that provides bloody action and vigorous moments.

Deadpool, the film that has it all. The humour, the pace, the direction, the acting.. all 100% perfect. Deadpool is like someone who was resurrected into another species. Whatever you do to him; kill, decapitate, torture him, he will still carry on and succeed his mission.

Ryan Reynolds is now one of the funniest and most intimidating marvel character. His role from green lantern to this has improved 99.5%. I mean, what film but this would you find an uproarious and hysterical protagonist? The only R rated film has redeemed itself. This film is extremely inappropriate at times and deadpool is strongest on his comedic behavior when it comes to battles. The only reason why I left the other 2 stars is because I thought this film was TOO inappropriate and had luckily kept its 15 rated (UK). The sex scenes were very unsuitable for even 12 year olds, a bit too graphical on it.

The majority of the characters in Deadpool seemed all right at times and I thought it could do a bit better with its action sequences considering it is a R rated film so it should include more graphical violence.

His thoughts on revenge were very funny, especially when he used the dead bodies (towards the end of the film) to spell out the antagonist's name which suggests how serious but hilarious he is. I liked his ideas on revenge, considering he was chosen to be in an experiment to "cure" his cancer problems so I must admit, he did his job well. Satisfying Film.

Deadpool, the film that includes graphical humour and images.

The Dark Knight Rises, the sequel to The Dark Knight (2008) and the prequel to Batman Begins (2005). The last film of the created trilogy and directed by Christopher Nolan.

Same as its predecessor, it is brilliant and dazzling. Although I find The Dark Knight more pleasing and amusing, I thought this film was better than two of the iron man films combined. It tells the story eight years after the Joker's reign of anarchy, the Dark Knight, with the help of the enigmatic Selina, is forced from his imposed exile to save Gotham City, now on the edge of total annihilation, from the brutal guerrilla terrorist Bane. Now, bane seems like a better but weird continuous antagonist than Joker, however, I found the joker's plan and his mind to destroy Gotham with anarchy intense and creepy, both which makes me pleased and excited. Bale (Batman) gives his best performance yet, purely feeling his own character at the best and possible way he can. Hathaway (Catwoman)'s performance is the best out of the whole actors. She was able to capture the humorous and joyful nature of her character, she knew what she was meant to do in order to amuse and delight the audience.

We now have the wonderful Gordon-Levitt (PC Blake). I thought his character was a bit controversial at times but the actor himself gives the predominant power to make sure he knows his own role and requirements. Freeman (Lucius Fox) has his magnificent and astonishing vehicles and weapons to show to Mr. Dark Knight and I personally think he has to be one of the most lovely and perfect character throughout the whole trilogy. It's sad to see this come to an end, I loved Nolan's direction towards the whole film, I also loved the way he portrayed the whole characters and the film in a dark and grim way. It was certainly an improvement to The Dark Knight, which was kind of an overrated film. However, my only concern is the running time. I mean, 164 mins? That is a bit of a long film, especially for a film that includes a DC comic character. Even superman's films aren't that long. But, I am very shocked with the fact how they managed to fit a great plot in 164 mins. Overall, this is the film you should watch relentlessly, even if it doesn't please you.

The Dark Knight Rises. A film that changes a city to chaos and an improvement over its prequel.

After the "earth-shattering" revelations in Insurgent, Tris and her boyfriend decide to go beyond the wall to discover and find a new world which had been separated from them for 200 years.

I can see why the negative reviews because of its confusing plot and unsatisfying performances. But I thought this film had some improvements over Insurgent, particularly due to Shailene's performance. The visual effects were not an improvement over Insurgent and I found its predecessor's visual effects more satisfying. A lot of people claim ever since The Hunger Games has finished (which I find it heart-breaking considering I am a big fan), the YA crowd has died. I think Allegiant can improve a lot more but other than that, it's not a film you would want to watch over and over again just to please you but a film that has some subtexts and a plot to explain properly even though it's sometimes confusing and odd, same with its performance. Miles' one wasn't hilarious, he always betrays his companions and then he allies with them again? A bit of an unusual character to side with your haters. Jeff's performance was brilliant, he was able to portray his character fully and properly. He hid his antagonistic behavior until the end which I found it awesome and pleasing. Zoe's performance was appalling, she seemed as if she didn't even care throughout the whole film, she isn't the actor who you'd want to hire in a YA series. Ansel's performance was okay. Wasn't the anticipated person who would be the extraordinary but he wasn't as bad as Zoe's. Everyone else who I did not mention except for Tris, their performance throughout the film was lovely and astonishing.

The Divergent Series: Allegiant. The film that has some improvements to overcome before releasing its final stand to governmental issues.

This has to truly be the best superhero film or the best DC comic film ever. The acting, the pacing, the visual effects. It's just mind-blowing and satisfying. A lot of people say this film is overrated which I personally agree with myself. But this film has got to be exceptional, the direction of Christopher Nolan, the joker's plans and the reactions by the hero. It's just pleasing and intense. I mean, not all superhero films can make a plan and nearly, just nearly get away with it. With all the marvel films that are great as well, I think this film tops the avengers as being the most clever, most intelligent and most reasonable film in the history of superhero making.

So after Allegiant is coming, I decided to review about this film.

Insurgent takes place 3 days after Divergent when the dauntless traitors attacked abnegation, tris' home faction and now, that villain is searching for divergents to open a box that she thinks will end all divergents. I thought this film was beautifully structured. Like, the visual effects are remarkable and so dazzling, the actors, especially Kate winslet and shailene woodley are incredibly outstanding! Jeanine's political words are just admiring, she knows the dangers of the threats but then again, she'a a villain so I have to hate her. The visual effects are just the best here, especially during the simulation where the building is ripped etc. So, great film but needs to work on the pacing and the running time is short, preferred it to be exactly the same length of Divergent or more than.

Well, I heard this film was going to make billions and it made a GRAND opening in its weekend. But sadly, the force isn't enough for the newly-released Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This film is pretty good and I'm starting to watch the previous star wars but this film lacks only one thing: Humorous Moments

There were some moments where the audience laughs but I particularly didn't find anything funny, just intense and worth-watching. If there were some humorous moments, I would've laughed frantically and never stop laughing. This film was brilliant in 3D but there were some awkward times where the audience AND the film stays silent for a short second which I found very uncomfortable.

I gave it a 7 because it was very dazzling, the special effects were mind-blowing and the actors (including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Daisy Ridley) were exceptionally superb with their roles. But i left the other 3 stars since the plot kept twisting and twisting and I was confused. Other than that, this film is worth-watching, especially in 3D.
