Couldnt survive the first few minutes
Can they hire better writers who belong to this era ?

Cant the writers think of a way to introduce a man to a woman without them glancing on the street and the man starting to chase after her ? Does the man have to start stalking her ? Should there be a rescue scene right after to provide some male savior complex ? Cliche upon Cliche. It literally shows the woman having to disguise themselves from the "hero" to feel safe. So cringe !

Maybe the movie picked up and got over these tropes half way through. I couldnt sit through it for that long. How is this a family entertainer when women are portrayed this way ? None of the women nor men in my family could stomach this movie. None of us were entertained in any sense of the word. Write better movies.

Man is nature
This documentary showcases a wonderful relationship this sect of humans have with their forest and the animals in it. For too long, we have tried to draw the line. We are here. Nature is there. This made it easy to exploit the natural world since we dont have a deep relationship with it. Indigenous way of living erases this line and teaches us the symbiosis. If you want to protect one species, nurture the habitat in which they thrive including the humans in that habitat. If humans are in poverty, they cant protect the flora and fauna around them. Thank you for talking about the well being of the indigenous tribes.

Boring and regressive
How embarrassing it is to be a woman in this movie. Every one exists for the male protagonist to save. Male savior complex is the theme of this movie complete with an antiquated 80s story. They are using Vijay to scam the audience out of their money. Poor guy dances and dances at every change he gets when not "saving" people. Rashmika is used as item girl in the songs and outside the songs. It's embarrassing. How can anyone go with their family and see women portrayed like this ? How do anyone sit next to your daughter/wife/mother and show her examples of women being candy and glorification of male savior complex. What do women see for themselves in this movie ?

for the men, by the men, to the men
How is this film not problematic ?

Women have no role in this except for showing some leg / dance to titilate the audiences who seem to be liking this "family entertainer".

The protagonist staring at her legs and the boss lady falling in love with the creepy guy, in a family entertainer, .....

The male protagonist speaking for his boss, and her being portrayed as constantly being in need to rescuing, .....

How is everyone okay with such narcissism where nobody else matters in a film except for one man ?

Is this culture ? Worship of the one male protagonist who alone can solve everything ?

What a waste of casting Tabu, an actress capable of work like Andhadhun.

If I ever meet Allu Arjun, I would ask if he is embarrassed of acting in such narcissistic roles where only he and only he matters.

The 1 star reviews are all upset about not being able to police women's body
Refreshing movie.

Everyone needs a father like hers.

We have too many patriarchal forces asking women to obey in the name of society, religion, their personal philosophy, some anecdotes of what happened to someone they know, ......

Women making their own reproductive choices is empowering to watch.

Thank you for making this film.

Not funny
Neither of the characters are worth rooting for. Waste of time.

What were they thinking ?
Terribly boring.

"a moth eaten script from the 70s", as Rajeev Masand puts it - sums it up.

Poor Kartina. You can study this film to learn a new way to objectify a woman.

Thank you Nag Ashwin
I wanted to give it 9 stars because movie did take artistic liberty with a few of the scenes, but I have nothing but praise for how they went about making this film.

The parallel story to help us connect with the past is brilliant story telling. The research done by the costume department paired with the cinematography of Dani Sanchez-Lopez gives us the closest one can come to time traveling into the past while staying put. Venkateswara Rao Kotagiri's editing features seamless transitions when switching between time periods and helps with Savithri's aging process without abrupt change. The soundtracks and background music isn't you typical people breaking into song and dance but an extension to the emotions experienced by the characters. The director can pat his back for the casting. You have given a chance for Keerthi to show her acting skills. The support cast did a great job too. Samanth's dialog delivery at the end of the film gave me goosebumps. DQ's performance as a charmer translated across the screen.

This is the sort of cinema I have been waiting for. If film making is one of the prominant art forms of contemporary telugu people, the commercial mass films do little to progress the art form. There is art for art's sake. There is art for a reason. This film is definitely the latter. I have often wondered how we went from the likes of Satyajit Ray to what we have today. This film is what I have missed for a long time. It makes me proud of my heritage. I cant wait to watch some of the older films featured in this film.

It left me teary eyed and stronger somehow. Thank you Nag Ashwin for this work. I will follow your career closely from now on.

Terrible
2/10 because they have some good actors in there.

Please fire the script writer and the research team. It undermines the intelligence of the organization that they portray.

And its become quite boring at this point. I am surprised it got another season into production.

They seem to know how to drag it on and on. Make episodes for the sake of them. It stopped being a thriller lot time ago. And is it more of a drama series ? It fails at that too.

I will not be watching the next season. Now that its not Netflix, I gave it another shot at continuing the ones I left off. But its quite unbearable even if its available on demand.
