Reservation Dogs
(2021)

A really good show with a lot of 💜
After watching the first episode I thought "this show might be okay but it's nothing special". But there are very few shows that have their timing down from the start. After watching the second episode I thought "okay, they are starting to gel as a cast". By the end of the third episode I thought " I am really enjoying this show and I truly like the main characters plus I have always been a fan of Gary Farmer". By the time I got to the episode Come and Get Your Love I was hooked. It was hard at first to see the guy who was so vicious in Fargo Season 2 (Zahn McClarnon) be so likeable. I have always been drawn to characters like Big who is a person that others may poke fun at but you can tell he is genuinely a good person with a bright soul. I truly enjoyed the episode Hunting where we see the dynamic between Willie Jack and her father. It brought me back to the times in my life that my parents may not have agreed with my decisions but they stood by me nevertheless. This is a really good show with a lot of heart and I would recommend it to anybody.

Alan Tudyk leads a great show, don't listen to the people who constantly complain everything is "woke"
I have always been a fan of Alan Tudyk all the way back to his Firefly days. He does a great job in this part as his mannerisms and facial expressions are spot on. He's almost as good as John Lithgow in 3rd Rock. The rest of the cast is very good as well. I truly enjoyed the dynamic between Tudyk's character and the kids on the show. One thing I will say (and it seems I have to constantly say it these days) is don't listen to the "everything is woke" crowd. Its enough already. We get that you have to have your white male egos stroked to find any enjoyment. If you're not an incel who hates everything that doesn't cater to your fragile ego you will probably like this show.

Justice League
(2001)

Good show, some things seem off
I like the show for the most part. They get most of the characters right but it seems they made Jon Stewart a little to brooding and moody. He's worse than Batman in this series. Other than that and the fact that they make Superman look weak throughout the series I enjoyed it. I was happy they included Hawk Woman and Martian Man hunter. I know they only did it for toy sales but it was a good change of pace.

Young Justice
(2010)

The problem isn't the source material....
First, I agree with most people that seasons 1&2 we're near perfect. The animation, storylines and character development were amazing. Season 3 seemed to be missing something the first two seasons had that I can't quite put my finger on but I guess that is to be expected when a show has such a long time off between seasons. And as a whole season 3 is still very enjoyable.

The people who have a problem with season 3 mostly feel that way because the show doesn't bend the knee to Trumpism, which anything that doesn't is now being labeled as "woke". The problem isn't with the source material, the problem is the right wing in real life now mirrors the villains in comics.

The Tick
(2016)

A great show that the negative reviewers didn't give a chance past the first episode
Being a fan of The Tick for decades I came into this show with scepticism. I can say that I really enjoyed it once I got past the fact that this wasn't going to be a Patrick Warburton knockoff. I actually think it's better than the original live action show. It runs a lot closer to the comic book adaption. And those negative reviews you see here didn't even give it a chance past the first episode. One idiot even complained about Whoopie Goldberg who makes an appearance in the first episode but that's it. We get it, you're a conservative who has to protect your ignorance. If for no other reason you should give this show a watch to see Jackie Earl Haley as The Terror. He is amazing. I truly hope Netflix or another provider picks this show up for a third season because as usual Prime let's a true gem slip away while they keep duda like Fleabag. I will never forgive them for dropping this show or Hand Of God.

54th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards
(2019)

Keep shunning Sturgill Simpson, I'll keep shunning your show
There are plenty of good country musicians out there. For some reason you refuse to put them on your awards show, even going as far as shunning Sturgill Simpson. It backfired on you in 2017 when he stole the show and a lot of your patrons outside the arena the awards were being held. Even Chris Stapleton left the show to join his fellow troubadour. 2018 you shunned him again and I stood by Sturgill again. I will continue to ban this show until you invite Sturgill and give him the respect he deserves. "Hegemony and fascism is alive and well in Nashville, Tennessee."

Black Summer
(2019)

Decent show, bad reviews are from TWD fans that are mad their show sucks now
I thought this was a decent show. Like some of the other reviewers I agree that there were times where I was saying " what the hell are you doing?" The Walking Dead was great t.v the first 5 or 6 seasons. Z Nation was a pretty funny low budget zombie show that was enjoyable for a few seasons. When I started watching this show I expected them to go somewhere in between the two shows. Some seriousness like TWD and some comedy like Z Nation mixed together. I was surprised that neither of the shows were really copied. This show has it's holes but it has A+ cinematography , a few likable characters and a decent enough story to make it watchable. It's not as good as the first 3 seasons of TWD but that's a high bar to overcome. I can say it's better than any of the crap that TWD was putting out before I quit watching it altogether.

Happy!
(2017)

Wow, just wow. Chris Meloni does it again
First I want to say THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR KIDS. There are so many adjectives that can be used for this show. Sharp, witty, salty, blaring, heavy, abrasive, aggressive, evil, outrageous, repulsive, immoral, zany, amoral. I guess the best one to describe this show is insane. Christopher Meloni has played crazy very well in many roles but this is role is jaw droppingly awe inspiring. His new imaginary friend voiced by Patton Oswald is the perfect counterpart to Meloni's insanity. Christopher Fitzgerald and Patrick Fishler are absolutely amazing in their roles. Don't let the imaginary unicorn fool you, this show is brimming with originality. You will be laughing one moment and on the verge of vomiting the next. This is one of the weirdest and most disturbing shows I have ever seen. And I absolutely love it.

Death at a Funeral
(2010)

I enjoyed both versions of the movie
This movie is a great comedy, both the UK and US versions work well. I initially watched the UK version because I am a big fan of Alan Tudyk and once I saw Peter Dinklage was also in it I made it a point to watch that version first. I was not disappointed. Tudyk was amazing and Dinklage played his part expertly. I then watched the US version with my parents and a few of my aunts. I figured they would prefer the US version since we are from the US and it would be easier for them to understand because although I like dry British humor it is not for everyone. James Marsden was serviceable but I thought Tudyk played the part better. All in all the movie was a hit and my parents and aunts were literally rolling on the floor with laughter, as i did when I watched the UK version. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who has a sense of humor and ignore the bad reviews. I agree the original version was the one I liked better but not everyone likes pretentiously dry British humor. It's the same thing as "The Office". I like the British version but I get tired of trying to understand their slang and my parents/ aunts would just tune out within 10 minutes if I put that version on. It's just easier watching the US version.

I loved both version

I love John Cleese but Fawlty Towers sucked and was way past it's expiration date 40 years ago.

Silicon Valley
(2014)

First few seasons are great
I thought this show was really good through the first few seasons. After that it tapered off some and season 5 was stale. Season 6 picked up some of the original shine to finish strong. This show does have a lot of great actors who are still making a name for themselves. Kumail Nanjiani is finally getting the recognition he deserves. I've been a fan of Martin Starr since his days in Freaks and Geeks but my favorite role with him was Roman DeBeers on Party Down. The two of them bantering is my favorite reason to watch Silicone Valley. Zach Woods is another actor who is coming into his own and will surely get some good parts in the future with his work in this show as well as VEEP. T.J. Miller is the same character in everything he is in. It works but it is starting to get tiresome. Patrick Fishler is good in this show but he takes it to another level in Happy. All in all this is another winner by Mike Judge. I do have to say I find it funny reading some of the 1 star reviews. But as usual when you go check who wrote the stupid reviews you will find that they are trolls who made an account just to bash this show then they went dormant. Don't listen to the haters, the first 4 seasons of the show are great.

Isn't It Romantic
(2019)

Very dissapointing
With the cast involved one would have though this movie would have at least been watchable. Everything about this movie was a dud. Even Rebel Wilson couldn't save this stale script. This will go down as one of the worst movies of the year. I actually feel sorry for anyone who gave this movie a 10 rating.

Workaholics
(2011)

Decent show with fresh ideas
This show is what it is. If you think a new take on the three stooges is something you could get into then this show is what you are looking for. It's not going to blow you away with dialog but if you like stoner jokes and beer farts look no further.

Superjail!
(2007)

Better than King Star King
I really didn't enjoy this show but it gets a second star because it's better than King Star King and there are a few characters that work. For the most part it is just violence with no story.

King Star King
(2013)

This show was awful
I'm not a fan of Superjail but I would watch it on repeat before I ever put this show back on my t.v. There is absolutely nothing redeeming in this show. Animation is bad. Story line is bad. Character are empty. Just an awful show.

Metalocalypse
(2006)

Don't listen to the haters
It's hilarious reading some of these reviews. Really, this show is an insult to metal? Brendon Small is downing metal? This show is funny, and the music is great. I love the characters and although I agree the violence can be over the top at times, this show wasn't made for kids so who cares. If you want to have a good laugh find the people who gave this show a bad review and go look at the pure crap they gave a good review. That's what I usually do in order to truly gauge these morons. As far as the show, I give it two thumbs up, but what do I know? "I do cocaine".

Mr. Pickles
(2013)

Blah
This show is not very good. I get what they are trying to go for but if you want dark, satanic humor go watch Metalocolyps instead. I gave this show multiple tries and it just wasn't funny.

Brickleberry
(2012)

Horrible
This show sucks. It gets a second star from me because of some of the voice actors involved but I found absolutely no humor in this show. Don't waste your time, there are better things to do with your time.

F Is for Family
(2015)

Give it time
The first time I tried watching this show I got through the first episode and told myself I wouldn't like it. After putting it off for a while I decided to give it another try and push past the first few episodes to give it a proper chance. I'm glad I did. It's not your typical animated slapstick comedy. This show is more in line with real life. The jokes are funny but not in the same tired way they try to strike them in shows like Family Guy or The Simpsons. The jokes come from a place where an actual family dynamic are in play and anybody who has suffered through dysfunction can relate. If you start watching this show and think it's not funny just give it time.

Final Space
(2018)

Excellent
This show is excellent. From the entertaining story to the fantastic music. Every aspect of this show is good. I understand that the main complaint is Olan Rogers take on the main character Gary, but I found him to be very entertaining once I got the premise of the character. This show has heart, which is something that is hard to say for anything in modern television. I have watched the first season twice now and it was just as entertaining the second time around. I cannot wait until season 2 starts airing so I can see where this show goes next. I highly recommend everyone to watch this gem. Even if you don't like animated shows or sci fi.

Home Movies
(1999)

McGuirk is another in a long line of great Benjamin characters
I have recently re-watched the entire series and enjoyed it as much the second time as I did the first. The whole cast is great but John McGuirk by far is the most entertaining in the show. There are so many great quotes from his character it would be impossible to remember them all but here's one of my favorites.

Coach John McGuirk: Brendon, there's nothing wrong with lying to women... or the government... or your parents... or God. Alright? Brendon Small: Yeah, but what if they figure out you're a liar? Coach John McGuirk: What, women? Brendon Small: Sure. Coach John McGuirk: Then who needs 'em? Lie to men.

The Big Bang Theory
(2007)

Easily the second worst sitcom on tv
This show is just horrible. Jim is awful. Just awful. The only thing worse than him is Blossom trying to regain some sort of fame but she's a horrible person in real life. She's a female version of Mike Pence. I hear nothing but bad things about Cuoco who I find unfunny and unattractive. This show is a dud for the most part. Ill give it one extra star because Leonard is somewhat likeable. This show is easily the second worst sit on on tv behind "how I met your mother".

Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell
(2013)

I got exactly what I expected.
It's not an award winner but the 15 min. format keeps it interesting. A good fill in for an always good AS lineup. If your watching AS shows already then it's worth the watch.

Cube
(1997)

Entertaining
Decent acting from a relatively unknown cast. If you watched "Haven" or "The Dead Zone " tv series you might recognize a few of the actors.. A good premise to the story with some intrigue and drama. I found it entertaining.

Bob's Burgers
(2011)

Still going strong
Even after all these seasons I still enjoy the Belcher gang. The chemistry that this A+ cast has is amazing. Benjamin is on spot as always. Schall, Merman and the rest of the gang always deliver. A lot of the voice actors in this series were involved in past work with the creator. I have always been a fan of " Home movies" so I do have a built in nostalgia factor. If you are in the mood for some dumb sing alongs and childish fun, give Bob a try.
