Avengers: Age of Ultron
(2015)

Too much of anything is good for nothing
If I have to rephrase this: "Too many cooks spoil the broth" then it will be something like this "Too many superheroes will spoil the action movie". I came to this conclusion after watching this movie.

I got headache after viewing this movie. In I,Robot and Terminator, we have Artificial Intelligence (A.I) as the villain. Same goes here as well but one distinction is we have another A.I "Vision" as an Avenger. One can understand the story from trailer itself. Villain "Ultron" believes Humans are dangerous to the world peace and therefore from their extinction world peace is possible. He then enacts a plan to kill all Humans, only to be stopped by Avengers. Such a wafer thin plot is stretched to almost two and half hours by including action sequences and lame background of the Superheroes.

Why I didn't liked this movie? May be I have grown up questioning myself more about who I am? What is the reason for my existence?... etc.

This movie is for those who don't question and accept things as they are.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!

Watch it for the Dibakar Banerjee's creativity
I liked this film as the mystery was continued towards the end, probably that's the reason I was connected to the film. The only drawback of this film is its apparent slow paced narration.

I didn't understand few scenes in the film one is the killings at dental hospital and the last scene. I think the connection between the character's of Swastika Mukherjee and Neeraj Kabi was not properly established. However, I must admit the director's creativity is top notch and his showings of Calcutta is quite splendid too. Writing a suspense story is a tough job than acting. So I will give credit to writers and scriptwriters of this film.

Watch it as it's a very good mystery film.

What is this and that too from Chiranjeevi?
People avoid this film. Its a d grade film. Its an insult to mature audience.

I always liked Chiru and his films from the days of Pasivadi Pranam. I am from Rayalaseema and this film portrays Rayalaseema in such a bad light, gosh, one hour into the film I got headache and nausea. The film is full of ego and pompous from beginning scene to the end one. Except the comedy track from Brahmanandam, this film lacks humility.

Chiru has such a huge fan base and what sort of ethics and morality is he imbibing from this film. Being self-righteous and killing people that is his character in this film. There is this scene at the end of the film where he kills people then lectures the futility of violence and bloodshed. I can go on and on but the main point I want to highlight is: "audience avoid this film".

Panic Room
(2002)

A best example for "Thriller" genre
What a Thriller? That's the words that came to my mind when I saw this film. Acting was top notch by every actor. Any director who wants to make a Thriller genre should watch this film.

I was hooked up from start to finish. Jodie Foster displayed both vulnerability and resoluteness at the same time. The mother and daughter have to confront the intruders who want to get their hands on the money which is kept inside the panic room. Initially, unaware of their motives they holed up inside the same panic room. How they overcome this situation forms the crux of the story.

Forest Whitaker also displayed compulsion as well as compassion to his character simultaneously.

I highly recommend this movie. Watch it because it is one of the best film in thriller genre.

Too good to be true
Watching Amir Khan's portrayal as an Alien is both joyous and baffling at the same time. Are all aliens from his planet so naive and perfect? Moreover, don't they believe in God? His acting in this film reminded me of little babies who are astonished of life around them, then how come life is so advanced on his planet?

However, the film is worthy of watching. It carries a good social message and I too don't support blind belief on Godman. Only one theme I didn't like in this film which is the melodramatic portrayal of love story between a Pakistani and an Indian.

Watch this film for Amir khan, Anushka Sharma and the underlying theme that this film carries which is superstitions in Hinduism and also in every major religion.

Paris is a world class city and police are highly efficient there
Watching this movie made me mystified as the core plot of the film is based on kidnapping in Paris. I got so many beautiful memories when I lived in Paris. It is truly a safe city and have got a strong police presence.

Having said that the film was very emotional and a thriller. It is watchable but a 50 plus year old hero bringing down thugs with a single punch is somewhat doubtful. However, Liam Neeson as a father in this film makes a great screen presence. One can overlook plot holes because of his acting and also his love for his daughter.

Go and watch this film because Liam Neeson will spellbound you with his on screen portraying of a father who can go to any lengths to save his daughter from kidnappers.

The Avengers
(2012)

Due to Computer generated imagery (CGI) effects the film is watchable
Where do I start, OK, superheroes saving the earth from aliens, a recurrent and also favorite theme for the Hollywood to score big at box office.

This film is watchable due to CGI effects. Why this film is such a box office hit? Well, may be because of underlying desire of every human being to be a hero in one way or the other.

Eccentric super heroes and silly story dominates the film. The story is for kids not for me as I couldn't connect with it.

In conclusion, go and enjoy this film for its CGI effects and Physics defying stunts.
