Bengal Tiger
(2015)

Not great
At times I wondered what am I watching. Bengal Tiger was a gross compilation of the worst clichés and compilation of the biggest mistakes done by South Indian Industry. There was cheap humor in the first half but the second half was the worst I've ever watched. All in all, it was your typical masala movie designed for mass cinema which includes uneducated, illiterate, unemployed Andhra people. Ravi Teja is 47 yet finds himself to romance a 21 year old. Go figure. The woman is objectified and has NO reason to be in the movie besides the horrid dances. Ravi Teja's dance can best be described as one of a dirty grandpa's. His tight pants and horrid shirts make him the subject of a poorly dressed creep. Overall this is nothing special because it's a ravi teja movie.

Tamasha
(2015)

A jewel of Bollywood's crown.
Today, there are few movies in India which really strike out to be the epitome of a love story. Tamasha features Ranbir and Deepika and brings out their best on screen. Beware: this is no masala movie. Imtiaz Ali craftly designed the movie to accommodate the tastes of critics. This movie is bound to elevate Deepika's status and give a hit to Ranbir. Bollywood once again has shown that it can outshine other Indian movie industries, and doesn't have to prove itself to South Indian industries as the best in the country. Tamasha is proof of Bollywood's endeavors and capability to success. Overall, Imtiaz Ali really nailed this one. The movie was an example of a complex, uncommon love story and Ali's efforts to highlight Ranbir's and Deepika's stellar acting is one to be respected.

Akhil
(2015)

Just one of those regular tollywood films. All nonsense trying hard to compete with the rest of Indian Cinema
Here comes a story whose main character looks like a tryhard bollywood star. The trailer looked revolting and the movie even more. Terrible vfx, low budget movies, and SAME plot lines make the telugu cinema uncomparable to bollywood. Where bollywood has escalated to heights, tollywood remains delusional on their one hit: baahubali. Baahubali seemed to have grasped the nation's attention for a while and brought light to this south Indian film industry. Yet, movies such as Kick 2, Bruce Lee: The Fighter, and the upcoming Bengal Tiger make it clear that Tollywood is very much the same as it was before and Baahubali is nothing more than an exception. Nothing has changed for tollywood and not much will.
