Playboy: Celebrities
(1998)

Almost a 10
This is a video that should be in every guy's collection whether you like these ladies or not. Each celeb is profiled with some of their Playboy magazine still shots as a narrator describes their rise to fame. Then they have video "fantasy" scenes of the women presumably when they did the photo shoots. The only reason I didn't give it a ten was because of Carmen Electra's scenes which are just a few of her still shots from the magazine followed by her useless "Playboy's Cheerleaders" scene where she doesn't even get naked. How you can be in a Playboy video and not get naked is unexplainable. They should have shelved that video scene and used a "fantasy" scene with her like they did with all the other celebs. Shannon Tweed's fantasy scene is very hot especially her shower scene. Overall, if you are a Carmen Electra fan, you will be disappointed by this video. If you are not or if you are a fan of any of the other ladies, you will love this.

Playboy: Cheerleaders
(1997)

Disappointing
The actual cheerleaders in this "film" are hot and have some nice scenes. The shower scene with all the girls was good but should have been placed at the end. The car wash scene is also good. The disappointing part of the video is Carmen Electra. How can you be in a Playboy video and not get naked? Her singing is not that good and the song she sings (if she is the one singing) is annoying to the point of sticking in your head all day. Carmen has posed for Playboy nude and has done many nude scenes in movies, and this was made early in her career, so I don't know why they let her keep her clothes on? Don't buy this if you are just for Carmen. She should not have even got paid for this or have been in it since it added nothing to what it is trying to sell.

Perfume
(2001)

Boring
Maybe you have to be in the know of the fashion industry to like this movie? As a mainstream movie fan, or someone who is a fan of any of the actors in this movie, this is a boring and uneventful film. The plot was very confusing, and I had to stop the movie about half way through to re-read the story line on the back of the box to half figure out what was going on. Estella Warren is in the foreground of the picture on the box, but she is a very minor character in the film. Carmen Electra is the girlfriend of Omar Epps, but it was a completely useless character who was barely in the film. Omar Epps is a great actor, but with so many characters and story lines going on at once, he is hardly in the film as well. I did like Jeff Goldblum in this film, but his girlfriend (if she was even his girlfriend) was too whiny to care much about. Overall, I would say skip this movie unless you have been in the fashion industry personally, then maybe you can figure out what is going on I guess.

Sol Goode
(2003)

It's Not All Good, but mostly good
A fairly good movie with characters that you are rooting for at the end. Sol's "gay" friend is very funny and fits in well in this movie. I also liked the out-takes after the movie. Katharine Towne does a great job in this movie and I would love to see more of her (even more of her with less clothes). I will have to check out some other movies that she is in. Despite being listed second on the box, Carmen Electra has only two small parts in the movie and leaves you wishing she was a more used character. Also, more of Robert Wagner's character would have been nice as well. Overall, a better than average flick with good laughs and characters you care about. More skin and more of certain characters are my only complaints.

The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human
(1999)

Better than Average Movie
This was an original movie with good acting. There were some humorous scenes as well as some sexy scenes. For as many times as they were getting it on, it would have been nice to see a little more skin from the lovely Carmen Electra. Some parts of the movie including the ending were a little predictable, and some of the predicaments the male gets into were a little too convenient or seemed to be the stereotypical behavior of males in general rather than what you would expect from this specific character from what he had already shown up to those points. The "Sperm Guys" were hilarious and ingenious to add. Overall, this movie was good for a few laughs, some brief nudity, an original concept, and watching a relationship go full circle from meeting all the way to marriage and children.
