Surprisingly multifaceted feminist text during which the beautiful faces of Gillian Anderson and Melissa George morphed into those of the 'ugly' Others. The score continuously contributed to the sickening motion sickness endearing a mute button many times enforced. Unable to look away from the horrendous transformative horror, the switching of The Feminine, the metamorphosis of twitching madness enables both women to retain the ugly, retrain their Otherness and begin life anew, begin life again, rebuild, remake and reinvent themselves and their relationships. Women need Shirley in their lives and in their loves.
This is an edge of your seat, taute and intelligent, feminist text. Amazing performances from the three leading female detectives and from all the young female students. The Pack is about power and abuse of power, trust, love and hatred of The Other. Best watched back to back fir the full, terrifying experience.
Watching Nicole Chamoun trying to stop her bike while channelling Fred Flintstone was the best part of each episode. She plays her character with determination and style. Loved her so much in this role. Way too many unanswered questions.
