Heartstopper
(2022)

A queer coming of age story without the drama!
This has to be one of the best portrayals I've ever seen of a teen discovering his sexuality.

Nick's awakening to bisexuality was so real, and it showed us that you can come out at your own time, that your parents can be understanding, and you can do it while surrounded by an amazing group of people (Charlie and the gang) I applaud the beautiful way this show approached the relationship between Nick and Charlie, they were always so respectful of each other and always very honest with one another

Heartstoper managed to show us that a queer love story between teenagers doesn't always have to be about the drama like the media always makes them about: forced come out, homophobic parents, toxic masculinity...

The writing is phenomenal, I cannot stress this enough! The acting is great as well! I mean, it all just fits together perfectly. I loved the secondary characters almost as much as I loved Nick and Charlie, and even the ones we're not supposed to like were very well written.

I don't think I've ever seen such a healthy portrayal of a bisexual teen boy, and I hope Nick and Charlie's stories help kids everywhere who are going through something similar

This show is so good and was so refreshing to see, I recommend it a hundred percent!

Batwoman
(2019)

Season 3 is just wow!
I have never seen a show who's lost their main character and still manage to turn the story around to something good.

Batwoman did just that! Sure, the adjustment to the whole new lead of the shown in the beginning of season 2 might've been hard, as we all loved Kate and the change means a whole new future for the show and a new face leading it.

Although it was harder for some, especially "traditionalists" aka racists who showered the show with critics over a black batwoman.

The show managed to keep going and really showed its best work in season 3 which I think might be their best one yet!

So... Ruby Rose leaving the show proved to be a devil in disguise, Batwoman who all thought was done for good managed to turn it all around into being an even better show than before. They deserve huge recognition for having the guts to change a character that's been around for so long and even more recognition for doing it so beautifully.

The Owl House
(2020)

A fun show for everyone!
I'm 19 and i watch this show with my little sister and sometimes my parents join in as well.

It's such a fun show to watch, it's "made for kids" but has a plot that's suited for all ages, with characters like Eda that come and shake things up!

I love Luz and her story, how even though she was human she managed to find a way to make her dream come true, it teaches kids to be confident and to dream big and I hope we get to see more of her and the gang soon.

Yagate Kimi ni Naru
(2018)

They have a perfect ending in the manga
I love this anime and the ending of season one.

Since season two is taking forever I went ahead and started reading the manga online from the chapter matching the end of season one forward, and man when you think it can't get better it does.

The whole depht of it is insanly beautiful and so worth your time, not to meantion you see these two and their story grow, and end up getting, in my opinion a close to perfect ending.

Encanto
(2021)

INCREDIBLE SOUNDTRACK but overall something's missing
This movie has one of the best and happiest, fun to dance to soundtracks.

But in terms of the plot it leaves room for more, the story ends without ever really begining, it feels like we're on to something when Marisol finds Bruno, but then it's all a race until the end of the movie it feels rushed and, well, like something's missing.

Genera+ion
(2021)

super harsh and unrealistic reviews!
I don't write reviews very often but after seeing the hate this show is getting I have to! What are all the 1 star reviews about, are you all mad?

Is this the best show I've seen? Absolutely not, it's not at the level of other, better HBO shows but it is worth watching

This is a show about discovering yourself as a teenager and let me tell you all the cringe and weird moments the show has that you're complaining about? Those are what makes this series real, life is weird and cringy especially as a gen Z teen and they show that really well

It's fun and easy to watch, it has a diverse cast and storylines, these are characthers you can connect with and that seem real, like they could be your classmates

The acting could be better but it's mostly good and I like how they show the story from different perspectives it is giving me skam vibes

Stop trying to compare every teen HBO show to euphoria, that's a pretty high standard to have and not all shows have to be so challenging some of them can just show you real life, that's needed too

Give this show a try ,a real try before judging it!

Anne
(2017)

Absolutely beautiful
Anne with an E is a work of art, such an amazing show! It is life-changing and eye opening in so many different ways. I recommend it to everyone, no matter the age, culture, gender or kind of tv series you usually like, you'll fall in love with it and it's characters!

Utopia Falls
(2020)

The 1 star ratings mad by people who watched 10minutes of the first episode are ridiculous! How can you rate something you haven't even watched? It's an awesome show!
This show is about freedom, liberation, artistic expression and so much more! The characters are interesting, the plot is fun and refreshing, they touch subjects that definitely need to be addressed. It's very well put together. The first two episodes are a bit more slow than the series in question because the world and characters are still being introduce to us. The plot starts really developing in episode 3 and it only gets better and better. A great show. The most diverse cast I've seen in a while. I like the way they portrayed the relationships on the show, very realistic and natural. It's fun, has a cultural impact and an overall good plot. Really great soundtrack. A good binge. Worth watching!
