Lots of suspense building and much better dialogue and acting than many previous episodes. I was pleased that they didn't drag out certain elements of the story and that we will be getting to the heart of the matter shortly. So to fill up some the required character count, let me just say once again that it was Lee Jung Jae that brought me back to Star Wars as a series to enjoy, and he has been absolutely stellar in this series. This episode was less action-packed, but that's 100% okay, because the backstory was well presented and I'm even more invested in the outcome. I remain very hopeful for a second or even third season.
Like another reviewer said, I'm not giving this episode a full 10 because I think it's completely at that level, but to counter the negative review bombs. It's a solid 8.5 for me though. I continue to not adore what I refer to as the FL's teenage tone of voice, I'm not a fan of much of the dialogue, and these episodes are far too short. But the "Sith" character is outstanding, Sol continues to be solid, and the fight choreography was stellar. This episode also just didn't come to play; it was a whirlwind of both the expected and the jarringly unexpected. I rewatched it once already and am about to again.
Excellent and more than worthy of your time and all 10 stars. This is a prequel to the 1971 series titled Chief Inspector. As the original did, it blends historical facts and footage and weaves them into the daily lives and psyche of the characters to really get a feel of the times they were in.
Each episode deals with a new case, with some overlap regarding the ongoing issue of police and political corruption. There are several notable cameos, with the original Chief Inspector being the most poignant. There's some wiggle room for another season, but there weren't any glaring loose ends and the ending itself was bittersweet perfection.
