This movie started as interesting within the first 10 minutes or so, and as it continued, it wasn't getting scary. It really never got scary and I give it a 3 because I still watched it all the way through.
It actually had potential, I thought, which is why I really wanted to see it, I didn't even read reviews beforehand, the story is really subpar, and the acting isn't good. The story also seemed very rushed, and kind of reminded me of American Horror Story, which isn't a compliment.
Blaming the patriarchy after a priest died saving your daughter in the original is a pretty big slap in the face too, don't you think? Bad writing, no scares, and not a good movie.

Ryan Murphy is good at writing the first episode of a tv series, then he seems to always give up.
The first two episodes were good, then it just became unwatchable like American Horror Story.
Even when I watched it I thought it reminded me of AHS with how well it started and how horrible it was to watch further on, only to then find out it was in fact written by Ryan Murphy.
Done watching the crap he puts out. Have never had to say that for a writer but I mean cmon man enough is enough.
It really must be nice to be able to do such little work in writing and then get paid a crap ton of money from some stupid company to produce it and give it to the public.
Hard pass on this one, and any other Ryan Murphy nonsense.

Will Ferrell knows what's funny and he delivered a great role as an aspiring pop star from Iceland. Almost similar to Leslie Nielsen, he gives a serious yet hysterical performance while simply being himself. Gotta love Will Ferrell and give this movie a try!
