Superior Donuts
(2017)

Just awful comedy
Cliché, cliché, cliché just about describes this tosh.

The humour does not transcend outside the USA. The comedy acting is simply second rate with stop start before each gag line. This is one to miss unless you are easily pleased. I could practically spew out the punchlines before they arrived.

Sorry to say but nothing new or innovative here, just the same ole, same ole.

The writers really need to to better to take comedy up a notch otherwise we are stuck in the past.

Series 2 - I hope not.

Equity
(2016)

This was pitiful
Not sure why this movie was so bad. Perhaps the slow pace and the enforced slow dialogue. Perhaps the bad acting. In either or both cases this movie should be given a wide berth. I loved Anna Gunn in Breaking bad, in fact she was instrumental in it's popularity but I watched a different actress here. Her interpretation in this 'Wall St' type movie was simply awful. Totally unbelievable. I always turn off movies when the leading lady has either Botoxed lips or stupidly unreal white teeth, for some reason I can't take it serious from that point on. So many women in the industry feel the need to wreck their natural looks. Anyhow, back to the movie, I dare anyone to watch Gunn's on-screen divorced husband acting out a serious scene and avoid breaking out into laughter at his facial expressions. Again terrible acting. This movie could have been interesting but the casting director had lost his marbles. The writing was drawn out and laboured with far too many close up 'still life' moments. Take heed, it's valuable time you are wasting if you labour through this stuff.

Suits
(2011)

A sham of a show
Suits started out as a very credible show. Always homing in on an awkward case with the intricacies of defending their client. Thrown in was the interactions between the characters. So far so good. Then came this final series. What a joke! Do the producers actually think that this is entertaining us? The whole premise is about showing facial expressions along with slow hush hush speech. It's shocking. This final episode of Mike going to jail is more like a Laurel and Hardy offering. Add to this the dress sense of the boss of this huge law firm and I can't help howling with laughter. Forget our marriage, forget what the gangsters will do to me in prison, I have to go to jail in order to be true to Harvey said Mike to his Bride to be or not to be. See you in two years when I get out. Hopefully this show has run it's course and we will not be confronted with this drivel again.

Hunting Hitler
(2015)

Huff n Puff n nothing!
A group of already wealthy guys fizz off all over the world looking for something that ain't there. A lot of money was had by all.

How on earth could one conclude anything from this kind of mediocrity? I mean it has taken 60 years to come up with an idea - I know lets stretch 6 shows out of finding Hitler who wasn't even lost in the first place! Pure boring entertaining dross. If the conclusion was positive then we would be bombarded with the news all over the world.

Save yourselves the wait. Watching the first episode is about as exciting as it gets. Subsequent episodes are rehashed with 25% looking back.

I give it a 2 for the decent locations thats all
