Compared to your typical block buster, who are usually fast and with fun jokes.

Dune takes the time to show a complex universe, the story takes time and is serious.

But the scenes, the designs, the architectures, are amazing, and we can't applaud enough the work of the artists on this movie.

Okay I wasn't expecting much, and American movies always have to have cheesy ending.

But the movie in itself and the concept is not so bad or crazy.

I spend a nice time making fun of the situation for sure but at the same time I do see this as in the realm of possibility.

Maybe this movie came 2 months too early back then we didn't have COVID mutants and the fun of being in the 3 waves and vaccine possible made for not working in the end.

The idea of the movie that felt insane and implausible at release is getting closer to our live now as we enter the 2nd year of lockdown next month.

The movie focus on some core characters and does a good job with how to drive the action and how to drive Jean as the the phoenix.

Okay there is a few characters that are here only for the fight scenes and doesn't get a line, but you know what it's actually better that way than what we were used to : "About 20 random mutant that says 2 thing and then disappears" At list this time we only have around 5 secondary and they don't get to disturb the story.

To me it's the best X-men Team movie, but of course "logan" and the wolverine series remain on it's own category and is above.

Yeah not much to say that terrible movie plot and basically everything...

Maybe you can laught at how stupid is the movie... Honestly yes we are close to this point...

PS you won't find a decent fight scene either

First time it felt so nice and real .

the script is awesome the execution is awesome and the actors too.

honestly this movie yes fell into one category that some might not like , some might not like the subject. but this movie is one of the best of the cath. and of the subject.

and its fun...

Be aware because by just ready synopsis, you might believe this movie is a typical American post-apo movie with a love story on top of that, and going into that movie thinking is a "no brain" movie is the worst thing you can do. And that Is why this movie get so much bad notes.

This movie is about what could be the actual reaction of two people if everyone suddenly disappeared. And it's more about what would you think than what would you do.

So that movie is definitely a "with brain" movie. Even though the answer is to be find by yourself.

And the strength of that movie is its capacity to aspire you in that lonely world so you could really feel like your the last one on earth at a certain point.

Of course the movie have some bad approach like I think the beginning is maybe too "comercial", too "much love", but we also have to finance the thing you know.

I would recommend it to anyone who like weird movie as I am. movie like from the Sundance, like "Comet", "another earth", etc...

The film could be well-filmed, and put spectator in pression. But the side purpose of this film is to make people believe there is a real discussion about killing or not thank to drone.

And the all god dame movie is using or not the dame drone to kill the terrorist, and all British government is consulted before the hit...

Well, according to what we kwon, thank to wiki leaks and other, this film is full of bullshit on this side.

because we do know that US army consider family of terrorist as terrorist, and also by doing "follow up" strike there are also considering people who help save other after drone strike as terrorist. and we also knows that US is considering a possible ratio of civilian losses so the all god dame movie doesn't even exist in the real life, they will have kill the guys in 5 minutes.

And as the side subject, which is strike in an not at war country, we also know that USA was doing so.

this movie is trying to wipe in mind of people this reality showing then politics concern about civilian life, drones pilot who as never done that and feel guilty... and etc
