Skyline
(2010)

It's like watching an account of the American Bison genocide
From the point of view of the Bison - the impression I got throughout, especially during a scene near the end that seemed to involve the sorting out of delicacies.

Actually, I found it a kind of "humans get the comeuppance their species-supremacist behinds richly deserve" kind of movie.

Points off for the ending, though.

Rambo: Last Blood
(2019)

It's definitely Rambo
An American veteran uses the tactics his Viet Cong enemies once used against his ilk for to rid humanity of 30 no-soul Mexican pimps. What more could one want?

Fishing Naked
(2015)

Loved the alien design
Which is why the high score.

On top of being a worthwhile watch.

Guardians of the Galaxy
(2015)

It's OK, but
They really need to learn how to draw animals better, especially when their faces are in full-on view. The way they do it is very disconcerting, as if they were only trained to draw flat, human faces.

Also, why is Rocket digitigrade, when raccoons are naturally plantigrade, like humans?

Making History
(2017)

Needs time to hit its stride
I think this is one of those shows that is going to take its first season to really get into - but in my mind, this makes it little different from the first season of Star Trek: Next Generation; the acting in those early episodes is so wooden, the show would have died without the ST label, according to other reviews here.

As it is, things take a turn for the somewhat heavy at the end of the fourth episode.

It seems to have definite potential, after a questionable pilot, and a rather weak follow-up. I'm giving it a 6 as a preliminary score, but I hope I can say I want to raise that up by the end of the season.
