Jealousy is another title from the Vivamax series of movies aimed at adults. Now, these movies are just pure titillation with a decent story thrown in to keep the interest, so expectations should be set as such. Although I have seen a bunch of these movies already, I actually found Jealousy to be a little more engaging than some of the others.
First of all it should be noted that the casting director struck movie gold here by hiring Angela Morena, Micaella Raz & Stephanie Raz to play the three lead sisters, since they are all sisters in real life. Name me one other movie where three actual (beautiful) sisters are willing to bounce their bare b**bs like it's a Lakers game? I'll wait... And with that unique hook in mind, Jealousy becomes much more of a movie event for every b**b loving male (and female) around the world.
The third act may drag somewhat, but I kind of feel like this movie should dethrone Die Hard for best Christmas* movie ever.
*There's no actual Christmas in this movie, unless you put tinsel on your TV whilst watching it.

From the Vivamax label, these collection of movies are soley directed towards adults looking for a slightly higher standard of film coupled with copious amounts of titillation. And that's exactly what we get here with Studentin am Tag. A beautiful young student moonlighting as a working girl by night, played by Denise Esteban, gets more than she bargained for when her private affairs become entangled with love, blackmail, violence and murder.
For the most part, the darker elements of the movie are saved for the final act, which allows the beginning of the movie to fill itself with an endless amount of nudity and trysts.
What's most nobile about Vivamax productions is that all the actors and actresses are attractive, and the movie looks aesthetically pleasing. Some of the acting may be below par, but no one expects an oscar here.
Overall, Doblado is a decent entry into the Vivamax catalogue and delivers exactly what you would expect from a title of this nature.

Ever since I Spit on Your Grave and The Last House on the Left, the R&R sub-genre has been filled with rather tame imitators. There have been a few exceptions though with Revenge (2017), Nightbird (2023) and possibly even the remakes of I Spit and Last House.
For this reason, I am happy to say (as an exploitation movie fan) that Sabel Is Still Young doesn't shy away from pushing the boundaries of good taste. From the titillation to the violence to the revenge, it's all here. And that's exactly what I wanted to see. At 135 minutes, every act of the movie has enough room to breathe and never feels rushed.
Although there may be a few odd plot holes (like is Sabel with a wig so unrecognizable? Surely her tattoos should have given the game away), these can be easily overlooked.
Overall, if you're a fan of the sub-genre and are tired of rewatching the classics, Sabel Is Still Young is a worthy successor.
