2 hours 20 minutes of WTH? I love Adam Driver , cannot fault him. But this movie was just so boring. The songs were really repetitive and dull. We did contemplate leaving when the singing started for the 100th time but we gritted our teeth through the last hour.

I get it's supposed to be weird and artsy etc. But it just kept missing the mark. A few people walked out, should have joined them. I feel embarrassed for Adam Driver ..

No chemistry between the two leads whatsoever. It was all very 'forced' Lucy was so over the top and annoying. Film was Not funny at all, I genuinely couldn't wait for it to finish.

Predictable. Boring. Totally dull.

Why did they remake this? This original is perfect.

Absolutely mind blowing. 10/10. And I am not a comic book/Batman fan at all. I just love Phoenix. This is one of the best films he has ever done.

These boys voices haven't even broken yet and they're saying every other line! It's so cringey, they look so young.! If that's what makes a movie funny these days then that's pretty sad. I actually took my time going to the bathroom during this movie as i didn't want to go back in.

Only went to see this because of the main actors but even they couldn't save this movie. Anne Hathaway's accent was so cringey! The 'story' was just ridiculous, not funny at all. A few people even left half way. Go see something else.

Horribly inaccurate as others have pointed out. All over the place so you have no idea what is supposed to be happening 90% of the time. A mish mash of boring short scenes that don't make any sense. What a waste of 2 hours.

Boring, lacked direction. Scares too obvious. This could have been so good given the amazing setting and scenery. Really disappointed in this movie. The Nun was barely in it.

I don't normally write film reviews but feel like I owe it to potential watchers of this movie to write one.

First of all, the people that gave this movie 7/8 put of 10.. have you ever actually seen a decent horror movie?!

The acting if you can call it that was beyond terrible. Literally painful and cringey to watch. Felt like they were all auditioning for a commercial or something.

This could have been so much better had they used decent actors and a slightly bigger budget. Also did anyone notice that the movie was filmed inside a hotel?! Nothing about the movie felt genuine and I didn't expect much from the movie but didn't realize it would be this bad!

Please save yourselves the time and watch a proper horror movie instead. 'The Boy' for example is a great doll horror with a great twist.
