Astronomy Club
(2019)

More please!
I haven't seen too many shows that are consistently funny, but this show steps up to the plate on that. This is my kind of comedy, it doesn't come across as trying to be PC, but reaches across that PC line and dangles it toes over the edge and is shameless about it; love it! I only wish the episodes went for longer, nevertheless, 9/10 from me.

IMDbrief: Who Could "The Boys" Offend in Season 2?
(2019)
Episode 80, Season 1

Get ready to scratch your head.
Super heroes that do evil when it seems convenient!! ...... WHAT!!! Everything we have learnt about super heroes has been wrested with this tv series, but I love how this series has been realistic when it comes to fame and greed. It really lures you in as you understand more and more about the characters. This is one of the best tv series I've ever seen, I hope this series goes on for ten or more seasons. Keep 'em coming guys :)

Lambs of God
(2019)

Much better than I expected.
This really took me by surprise. In a TV series I like something that captivates and makes me want to hang out for the next episode, this does just that. There has a creepiness to this series that is akin to a cult/sect. Three "Sisters" have been living on a cliff side monastery for quite some time and are not fans of change. A priest comes to let them know that they must move out as the church that owns the site has other plans for it. A Kathy Bates "Misery" style scenario occurs, and the priest wants out! I don't want to give away too much, but this is a neat TV series, I'm hooked. 8/10 from me.

Room 104
(2017)

A series with loads of potential
I'm a fan of TV shows that differ from episode to episode, in the sense that they are not story grounded to an end game; ie: getting off an island, stopping a bomb from exploding etc..etc.

Nothing wrong with grounded story lines, but I prefer a TV series that can morph its episodes giving the viewer that, "expect the unexpected" feel each episode.

This TV series IS grounded however, not to a particular story line, but to a room, a room where the strangest things can happen.

Walking into room 104 is like walking out of reality and into a hybrid reality, a mirage as it were.

This allows a lot of flexibility for the producers of the show to work with, and since it's localized to a room , it's also going to be a cheap series to make.

This episode I'm reviewing, episode 1, is not a comedy episode (though I did laugh once or twice) it's more of a drama/thriller episode that goes for just over 22 minutes.

It never gets boring, even when nothing seems to be happening as there is that weird "What's going to happen next!" feeling going on throughout the episode.

All in all, a simple story well executed with acting on par.

I don't want to say much about the story line of this episode other than: Babysitter/young boy, things get weird (but not in a perverse way) bizarre twist at the end.
