Never saw this as a child and decided to watch this movie yesterday. The start seem ok. A little bit silly but ok. I believed this was gonna be a movie about friendship, but the plot took a right turn after some time. The logic behind this could only be described from the perspective of a child. I have no problem with the silly inventions their scientist make. Like the robot bee that could polinate better then regular bees. Or the smell device that can identify anything only by smell if you point it at something. The villain is a typical villain for a Culkin movie. Almost cartoonish wannabe mastermind that cant do anything right. I also have a problem with him finding lots of bodyguards that would do anything illegal for him like its a job.
The entertainmentvalue for a grownup is pretty low so I try to see this in the eyes of a child. 5 is prob the highest I could make my self go on this rating.

I could have stopped at the title. I was curious and a little exited about this show because I love friends and consider my self ok on friends trivia. Thats what drew me inn. It was obvious from the start that this was just another americanized show with bad jokes and horrible laughtracks. The contestants seem to be going of a script and is over acting in every instance when they are not answering questions. I have obly watched episode 1 and Im not planing to watch episode 2. The writers who wrote the jokes for the host should be fired. They are so bad and nonautentic. Even tho contestanse are on time and it seem to suppose to be real they leave in a way that sets the host up for a bad pun/joke. Its so lame only americans will appreciate it. I cant stand this show. I rarely give 1 star on IMDB but this is some of the worst execussions I have seen of a concept my whole life. Joeys bamboozled would have been a much much better show.
Havent red the books and Im a sucker for sad/happy stories about animals and children. Still this movie made me reflect on my own thoughts and how I see the world. I allways had the soft spot for people, specially children in need, but people in this situation just wants to fit in and want the things you and me take for granted. In some way I might be a person like this. This is a sunshine story to how things can be if you just open your mind. Not everything is as it seems. This movie is a roller coaster of sad and happy.
I see some people are disapointed with the narrator cast. Yes another voice of a person who can relate to her situation might be better in some way, but I thought it was funny that she chose Jennifer Anistons voice because she watched her on TV. Its whats she chose. Its not about who can relate the most. The most important part is that she had a voice.
Recommend this movie to anyone who like a feelgood drama. Even tho its sad its mostly happy sad.
