Son-hae Bo-gi Silh-eo-seo
(2024)

A funny Romcom with a 5* cast
I really enjoyed the story and the characters development in this movie, despite a bit shallow the development was light and interesting enough to be remembered as a good watch in a cloudy day.

For me Shin Min-a is a great artist and one of the few human beings capable of portrait a young version of herself despite being 42 years old. She have a great capability of making the romance and others emotional part echoes in the viewers, this genre of storytelling it's definitely told much better and with much depth when is done by her.

Kim Young-dae was amazing too, that was the first time I watched him in a kdrama but the feelings and emotions were on point and the chemistry with Min-a works very well.

Han Ji-hyun, Lee Sang-yi and Lee- Yoo-Jin, were a great addition to the plot, specially for Sang-yi, after watch him in Bloodhound, which he did a amazing job, I got mesmerized to see it the great actor he is despite being in so different genres.

I definitely recommend this series and hope other people like it as much as I did.

A slow burner with a happy ending
This show was really memorable, a great message about life, pain and death.

The whole cast gave an exquisite interpretation of their characters, the chemistry and Friendship through the main team brought great laughs and good vibes. The history dragged a little but this is something proper of kdramas, the asian culture of do not touch or show affection all the time like in the western countries is something a person must learn to pass through to eventually enjoy those shows properly. The patients disease and the main arc of the history was well written and executed.

Anyway I recommend this show, vividly!

Pain is always a heavy subject to talk about.

The life threatening situations that most pains inflict upon patients, it's a struggle often not depicted in most medias due to the lack of consensus among most physicians of what is moderate to unbearable pain. Truth be told, all pain that triggers body and mind to perceive something as such, should be classified as a major disturbance, no matter the level, must be addressed.

But it's a utopia to even fathom a world with such a miracle.

Heavy Subject Not suitable for faint-hearted
Was a difficult show to watch, the heavy subject made impossible to be gladly entertained with the plot. Throughout the storyline the actors was mesmerizing, a stand ovation to Kim Nam-Joon portrayed of Soohyun, her heartfelt performance made me cry over and over, She was able to pour out so many emotions but with depth and intensity, for some seconds I thought that was for real. I usually spend most of the time watching something and seeing their mistakes but in this case I was able to surpass those mistakes because the acting of most people were on point.

Nevertheless I don't advice to watch this show if you have a traumatic experience, mostly because the emotions and pain in the history make the viewers introspectively remember past experiences and the weight of such memories can trigger something painful and difficult To deal with.

Very informative and captivating drama!
A exquisite reproduction of the invasion of Qing Dynasty in the former Joseon dynasty. But the love storyline despite well executed by the great Min Nam-koong and Ahn Eun-Jin could be wrapped up in ep 20, the ongoing obstacles to keep their characters apart to keep the viewers watching was too much to bear.

But the whole show deserves the highest praise for the phenomenal performances of the battle scenes, was indeed a pleasure to watch such a talented crew perform those roles so well, making the war and fighting scenes believably and memorable.

Some scenes dragged a little bit but was necessary to create the characters development so accurate and related to the Personal maturing from adolescence to adulthood of Gil Chae.

I surely recommend this show and once again praise the amazing Min Nam-Koong. When I saw his smile I knew it something good would come.

Despite All was a Healing Journey!! I Love It.
I Highly recommend this amazing Drama.

Don't mind bad reviews this show is totally worth the watch.

Depicts one of the saddest moment of life, but also address major and profound impact terminal illness have among relatives of those people and the long term effects of this traumatic event and its ending. Nonetheless, the show create an important healing journey, of such events on its characters which talks profoundly to viwers thanks to amazing performances, production and cinematography.

The subplot of the biological father is one of the turn off for me, because the content of the drama it's already heavy and too emotional and his monstrous behavior it's too much to bear. This is my reason for a 9/10 rate.

As someone with experience with terminal ill patients I think this heavy subject must be treated with care and attention because may be easily become something the viewers end up giving up watching before the closure because of the emotional impact in the memories of such traumas.

Terrible ending BUT AMAZING Performances!
It could be much better but the ending destroyed the plot.

Despite that, the outstanding performance by Ji Chang-Wook and Wi Ha-Joon completely saved the show, their chemistry and noir bromance brought another layer to the characters, something I saw Wi Ha-Joon having with Le Dong- Wook in Bad and Crazy, but didn't knew he were able to connect so seamlessly with others actors. Kudos to him.

Ji chang-wook, is a outstanding actor, the development of his character blow my mind, the depth emotion of a kind hearted person to a greed human searching for recognition it's so raw and intrinsic to human nature that reminds us of how far someone may go to achieve such notoriety. And his action scene are so authentic, we completely forget it's a choreography.

I'd like to say: " go watch this show you won't regret" it but this is an ambiguous statement. Personally I understand the noir genre is always end in some kind of disturbing situation but in this case was a too realistic wrapped up history and definitely it's going to resonates with me every time Ji Chang-Wook and Wi Ha-Joon name came out.

The Good Bad Mother
(2023)

Great performances! A Must Watch!
Not for the light hearted for sure. This show brings deep and emotional content for viewers everywhere specially those ones with great fierce mothers, like myself.

I'm not saying I agree completely with the way she treats her son, but her kind and loving heart endures hard times till the day being though is all she can do to prepare him for the future. And that is a message that echoes through the ages.

Kang-Ho character was so amazingly portrayed by Lee Do-Hyun and Ra Mi-Ran was so great as Jin Young-soon, I'm pretty sure this show will continue to be on people minds even after a while because of the superb work by those two actors.

The kids and the rest of the cast were also fantastic.

The only thing missing was a better wrap up of the last episode, but overall I definitely recommend this poignant show.

Amazingly Done !!
Those two amazing lead actors made this show a masterpiece!

Such deep and powerful storytelling with a great development of the couple story, but with the painful and stressful experience of growing up individually. This show made what others didn't it before, bring light and attention to the pressure some people face in old fashioned mindset environments, marriage is indeed much harder when some relatives want to get their beliefs fulfilled through someone else's life.

Buy a house alone, is even harder now, than back in 2017.

Apart from all this details the most important life lesson I take from this show it's, the waiting and acceptance, of a loved one healing process, to start up to the end. Happiness isn't a looping state of mind, actually is a temporary feeling, which must be cherished.

Worth the Watch
I give 8/10 because the amount of times the main characters are put to unbelievable painful and heartbreaking situations are too much to handle. From the beginning to the end they cry in pain and despair only to be happy at the last minutes of the show.

Despite that, the chemistry and performance of the ensemble cast made the story captivating and inspiring in many ways. Trauma is the worst thing a person may endure in our lifetime. And they all portrayed this dark moment with depth and intensity bringing the pain to us with a sheer sense of how meaningless is our lives, we must carry on, sooner or later.

I get a little frustrated with the lack of happiness in Dang Doo life throughout the drama.

Great Performances and good history.
This drama has catch my attention because of the great chemistry between the two main characters, the king and the player.

Also the casting was a masterpiece.

She delivered an exquisite performance along with the king character, which made the slow paced history bearable.

I remember seeing Jo Jung-Suk at the great KDrama, Hospital Playlist, so I knew he would be embodying the character as his own persona, making the show a immersive experience in the Joseon era bringing a new perspective into the subject. Despite the slow paced scenes the amount of detail and development of the characters made those scenes justify by the end.

I was afraid of the end, because usually they are all the same in this kind of KDrama, but this particular show brought new perspectives and a nice end to are already captivating history.

I recommend it for sure.

KDrama are great to just let go some steam and enjoy the cheesy love stories. Nowadays everything that helps the mind scape a while from the craziness of daily problems, i'm in.

Great performance. But slow plot. Overall as a KDrama fan was a exciting experience
At the beginning I was not sure about spending time watching this drama, but for my surprise the great performance of all actors, (from the good to the worst character, they were all on point, delivering a believable performance and captivating audience attention), make me watch the whole thing in 2 days, even I was amazed with how intrigued I became over the episodes, the flashbacks, for the first time IMHO, told the story with depth without taking the viewer's attention towards any aspect of the development of why Jinman created the Mall.

At the end of ep 8 things started to be even better. Hopefully the second part will be the same.

9-1-1: Lone Star
(2020)

Not Amazing but still entertaining
This show isn't the best one about the first responders theme, but after a busy and stressful day, it's a good way to rest the mind, you just don't think about the accuracy of events portrayed by the actors. Truth be told isn't the actors fault, that's no way someone alone could save this script, it's not like "Black List" (despite the awful, terrible and so disappointing ending) which we have Spader carrying the whole show in his back, 9-1-1 Lone Star suffer of poor writing and bad production, but they fight to bring us a better episode in every season, and that built some kind of link between actors trying, and people needs of entertaining themselves, in days the brain can not or won't to think too much.

The First Responders
(2022)

The best o 2023 Drama!
Let's say this kind of serie is very common, but usually they doesn't have three different "First Responders" working so well together, and with such a amazing Chemistry even on point in every situation.

This is definitely not your average KDrama, full of cringy romantic scenes and the usual on and off love history.

The second season was a rollercoaster even better than the first one, a lot of tears it's what I can say about the beginning of the second season, but ends with a miscellaneous cases of different types of Police series with quick-witted cases, making sense of the fire department working with the PD and the NFS, it's easier to make the last two work at the same cases but have the Fire department within also, was a great demonstration of expertise, with a fulfilling end and great performances of all cast. Rae-won Kim was brilliant, his performance was one of the greatest one's I ever watch.

Totally worth it Show.

Very entertaining but could be a little Better executed
The plot was funny. And thrilling at the same time, but I was hoping for a better chemistry between the main leads, despite separately actors made great performances, was very believable, engaging and funny but the romantic couple has had zero chemistry, .

"Dr. Brain" was indeed very gorgeous but the fact that the character must be a person with traces of a psychopath, (and he did the most good looking psychopath the I've ever seen), made his character emotionless and unfortunately sometimes was annoying to watch his plot development. The chief police officer character wasn't engaging at all and I think it shouldn't be there. Is the same situation with couple but in his case the script overshadow a great actor.

Overall it's a interesting serie i recommended, but could be much more famous if this faults was adressed previously.

One Dollar Lawyer
(2022)

Great history and characters development
I watched this episodes so fast, because was so good, that I didn't even noticed the time pass. The lead actor embody two kinds of personalities so exquisite and sharp, that you can laugh out loud and be serious and touched by his performance. I can only congratulate the others two characters for the great addition to the story with keen interpretations of distinguished social status, but doing like the three belong together, with the same goal, and a greater cause, helping those in need, with a great extra of good chemistry.

Once again kdramas proofed that a magnificent serie can be done with the old vision of working hard and having parents with money (LOL), but within the law, and no romance is need it between the main characters.

First Love
(2022)

We Never Know What Tomorrow is going to bring us.
Great cast, genuine performances, usually I watch others types of series this is the first Japanese serie but I can say was totally worthy. The scenario was light and daily related, we can se the snow, sea, mountain and the ordinary traffic. And that plus the acting and the history makes you wanna keep watching.

**And now some not requested thoughts:

For me was a completely immersion in real human emotions and actions, we are not wise or inspiring in the one third of ours life, we make huge mistakes and unfortunately we always hurt the loved ones because they are the souls around us seeing ours learnings and growing moments. But that is no excuse to keep failing. Is never too late to apologize and try again, try our best for the people we care, like or love.

Loved the Movie but the bittersweet end, killed me.
Great performances from the cast, very believable acting, storyline with a plotwist I wasn't expecting.

But at the same time was really inspiring and nostalgic, I remember the new millennium day, like it were yesterday, this movie bring a lot of bitter memories about my past, nevertheless like in the movie despite the sadness, we keep studying and working and trying to be better persons to us self and the ones around us.

I hope this director, writer and producer keeping doing inspiring movies, maybe even series, to make everyone think about the importance of inspiring the new generation of being better to themselves and to one another.

One Day at a Time

Great Sitcom! Political but necessary!
I watched the whole serie and love it. The differences, and people bad habits towards others, have to be addressed, is the only way to create, in a light way, a permanent path to the change we wanna see in the world. Or at lest we must try. Just my Opinion.

A Great Medical Drama
I love Ryan work, and finally, he get into a Good Show. A real Medical Drama, with medical complications instead of sex interest.
