Blonde
(2022)

Smoked a little mj first
I watched it while I was stoned, and perceived it differently - in a good way. I gave it a higher rating than the majority because I noticed the smaller beautiful details.

I'm going to quote another reviewer who put it perfectly.

"If you're going into this expecting the usual biopic drama - you will be disappointed.

If you go into this expecting truth - you will be disappointed.

If you go into this with an open mind and pay attention to what the film is telling you then you'll see the greatness in it.

Every scene is in itself breathtaking"

I especially enjoyed the beginning of her relationship, then marriage to Arthur Miller. It was a real high in the film. Marylin seemed very happy living a true love story.

It wasn't all lows.

Outer Range
(2022)

I usually like a good slow-burn but...
This show is a snooze fest. Is there even a plot? Nothing in the story grabs my attention. I am 6 episodes in and I am wondering why I even watched it this far. We are still in the dark about the mystery hole and while waiting to find out, the story has not gotten any interesting since the first episode. I gave it 3 stars only because of the great ensemble. I'm shocked they agreed to be a part of it though.

Raised by Wolves
(2020)

A really good one!
It's been a while since I have thoroughly enjoyed a show so much. Such a different storyline, literally out of this world with such a hook. I hope there are many many more seasons to come.

The Gilded Age
(2022)

Dull, just a dull and boring story.
I really wanted to love the show. I love period pieces, I loved Downton Abbey and from the trailer it seemed it would be similar in direction, but it just falls so flat.

It's a shame, such a well casted series (except for Mrs. Russell) could be so dull. Not even the sub-stories have any sort of intriguing attributes. The costumes are about the only good thing going for the show really.

For All Mankind
(2019)

Innteresting!
This show did a great job at depicting an alternate reality about the moon landing. Wonderful job in casting as well. It is a bit of a slower drama, but it is done so well that I find myself anxiously anticipating the upcoming episodes.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople
(2016)

Great & wholesome!
I can't believe I just watched this for the first time in 2021. How had I never heard of it before? I loved the story line, it's such a funny & witty adventurous film.

¿Quién Mató a Sara?
(2021)

What a shame..
This show had promise but it was easily one of the worst Spanish-speaking shows I've ever watched. I definitely believe most of the 9 & 10 star reviewers have either - never watched anything other than telenovelas so this was great to them, or they work for the show and are trying to hype it up. I don't even know where to begin. The sound & scene editing was amateur and quite frankly laughable many times. They couldn't make up their mind whether it was a drama or an action flick. The acting was disappointingly terrible or subpar depending on the actors. The intimate scenes were so awkwardly placed and so so cringey.

Lastly, the story line had way too many ridiculous twists that it just made it the show a mockery. Don't waste your time, really. I'm so upset I did.

Emily in Paris
(2020)

Very disappointing
Huge cliché of a show. A non-sensical & far fetched story line without any sort of direction. It is definitely no SATC. I'm so disappointed in Lilly Collins for having accepted this role. She portrays an absolute tone-deaf entitled ditz. I've lost so much respect in her as an actor. The show is clearly made to glorify the current fashion blogger trend, therefore no thought was put into creating an actual scenario of an american living in Paris. It is not ok to be such an entitled foreigner in any country, much less France. Then the whole musical number so cringey!! As if one american ditz in Paris wasn't enough, you have to deal with the singing so-called "Chinese" friend storyline. For our sake they could have at least cast a non-American to play this part, but no, because their target audience is not the true SATC fan, but rather all the teeny bopper social-media-addicted tweens. There's just no way as an adult to appreciate this show. Or maybe my expectations were much higher?

Enola Holmes
(2020)

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I wish it were a series. I'd like to see more of it. I loved the cast, the story was original. Overall delightful!

Ana
(2020)

Don't watch if you're a prude.
Which seems to be the case for the people leaving the 1 star reviews. This is a comedy, yes it's raunchy, but it's very relevant with the times. I found it funny and refreshingly different from anything out there. To add, this is nothing like Fleabag, maybe in the raunchiness aspect, but far, far from being anything else like it. If you're not a prude, you'll enjoy it.

Outlander: To Ransom a Man's Soul
(2015)
Episode 16, Season 1

Highly unnecessary. Disgusted
There was absolutely ZERO need to give this much detail. It ruined a really great show for me.
