The Minimalists: Less Is Now
(2021)

To people who only think about shopping on social media
I've just finished watching this movie on Netflix.

Too much shopping and consuming never leads to happiness.

These two men became minimalists through their own experiences.

And they could see what was really important.

The documentary conveys their real-life experiences.

I also never stopped wanting things until 10 years ago.

I kept buying and buying cosmetics, clothes, etc. And still wanted more.

Even though the room was filled with many things, for some reason it was unfulfilled, I was concerned about what other people had.

One day, my husband saw a large number of cosmetics, he mumbled, "What are you going to do when you only have one face?"

His logic was correct.

But I became grumpy.

A few years later, I was searching the Internet all day for new cosmetics, I felt like I had no idea what I was doing.

I realized.

I am happy to have satisfied my cravings for only a few days.

After a while, I want something new again.

Then I search the Internet all day long.

I have decided to stop shopping because it is getting ridiculous.

When I shop, I ask myself one thing.

"Do you need it?" Do you really need it?

If you think you need it, no problem buying it.

But do not buy it if you "want" it.

Now I have a simple life.

I threw away everything I didn't need.

In the movie they said you can recycle or give to others, but I think it is best to throw things away.

But I think it is best to throw things away because giving unwanted things to others will only change their places.

Memorable clothes from your childhood, school test papers, etc.

You can take a picture of it on your smart phone.

In the movie, they said that memories exist in the mind, not in things, and that is true.

You will be surrounded by only the things, people, and things that you need.

Then, there is no waste, and life becomes truly productive.

Shopping takes time and wastes not only money, but also the most important time of your life.

So now is the time for everyone to live a simple life and become a minimalist.

No one is happy surrounded by many things.

I recommend this movie to women who think only about shopping on social media.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour
(2023)

Spectacular! Unbelievable Performance!
This is a live film of Taylor Swift's culminating tour as a singer-songwriter. While I was watching the film, I felt as if I was actually there in the audience.

She has loved singing since she was a little girl and wrote lyrics with a guitar in her hand. She said she loved writing and singing songs more than anything else.

This Era Tour is a great opportunity to see her confident and amazing performance. The live performance lasted about 3 hours. She kept her concentration the whole time, singing with emotion and sometimes doing unique dances to entertain the audience.

I think Taylor Swift is that rare person who empowers young women. She thoroughly enjoys doing what she loves. She gets out of her comfort zone and tries new things. She understands what people want from her.

Her personal life and her song lyrics are all part of her entertainment and she keeps us entertained.

Spectacular! Unbelievable!

The Menu
(2022)

This movie made me sick.
This is the worst movie ever and not worth watching at all.

Most of the food in this movie looks so bad it makes me sick. Chef said." Don't eat." Yes, I don't eat them. One of the cooks shot himself with a handgun and a customer was injured. Sickness.

We pay for movie theaters and streaming services to see movies. But when I see these kinds of movies I am so disappointed. I have to watch a movie from beginning to end to give it a fair evaluation on IMDb. I feel like I wasted two hours after dinner.

It may be rude to the actors in this movie, but I'm telling you my frank impressions. The actors lacked brilliance. The filmmakers and casting staff should hire more beautiful looking actors.

They look no different than the average person walking down the street. They are all customers who say the F-word and have bad manners. John Leguizamo's role as a movie was a gag. That chef should run a hamburger chain rather than a restaurant.

M3GAN
(2022)

A robot can never replace a family.
I saw this movie on my newsfeed and I was curious about a doll girl named Megan. So today I chose "M3gan".

Now I will explain that this movie is not real.

A human child weighs 10 kilos, and as an adult it can grow to 40, 50, or 60 kilos. The sole of a human foot is a very small area, but we can balance and stand.

Do you know why the sole of a small area can support dozens of kilograms of weight?

It is because we have a "heart" in our body.

Because we have a "heart," we can support our heavy head and body, maintain balance, and stand.

Robots equipped with cutting-edge technology cannot stand like humans. Their heads are so heavy that they fall over easily.

We can make robots, but we can't make "heart". Now and forever.

The functions of the mind cannot be explained scientifically.

No matter how much technology develops, it cannot reproduce the human mind. A robot equipped with the most advanced technology is not a human being, no matter how good it is, but a robot. It is not possible to put a human mind into a robot.

In this movie, Megan was standing like a human being, which is impossible for a real robot. Megan is played by a child actor.

The Devil Wears Prada
(2006)

People in the fashion industry should see it.
About 10 years ago I saw this movie on cable TV, and I wanted to see a movie about fashion so I chose this movie tonight.

This movie reminded me of how I used to work for a cosmetics company. The cosmetics industry, like the fashion industry, is a market run by women. There is a female boss in the office, and the boss's subordinates have the most demanding personalities and are harsh with new employees.

In this film, it is interesting to see how Andi, who wears dowdy clothes, gradually develops her fashion sense. This movie was made 17 years ago, but if it were 2023, I would have thought that Andy could voice type on smartphone all the orders from Miranda.

Anne Hathaway is better suited to comedic characters like this than to serious roles like La Miserable. By the way, Emily's acting is outstanding, but her hair make-up is always not good at all.

Lola rennt
(1998)

The time limit setting excites the viewer.
Now I really have to work. But I'm lazy, so I thought it would be nice to have a short movie, so I decided to watch "Run Lola Run". I've wanted to see this movie for a long time because the red-haired girl impressed me a long time ago.

This one was fast-paced, exhilarating, and fun. It was also refreshing to see it switch to animation like The Simpsons. The story is simple, but the time limit makes the viewer nervous. However, I think seeing this movie once is enough.

By the way, the red-haired girl's outfit didn't go well with the blue tank top and the light green pants. It is better to choose darker green pants.

Taxi Driver
(1976)

You Talkin' to Me?
After dinner today, I felt like watching a movie set in NYC, so I chose "Taxi Driver" by Robert De Niro. This movie was made before I was born. Robert De Niro was young and like a different person. He had a unique presence.

In the 70's, there was a retro atmosphere, such as calling landlines and buying vinyl at record stores. Young people in their teens and twenties today will be unfamiliar with those old things.

Perhaps, in the future, Uber will become a major transportation, and the profession of a taxi driver like him may disappear. NYC in the 70's hasn't changed much from now, but I thought it was cleaner now with less trash on the roadside.

Mulholland Dr.
(2001)

Sometimes we live our dreams in our daily lives!
After dinner today, I chose "Mulholland Drive," a film I have been wanting to see for a long time and which is highly rated on IMDb and other film review sites, but it is not a masterpiece for me.

David Lynch and Christopher Nolan are very similar types of filmmakers. Both make esoteric films that mix dreams and reality. The first half of this movie is also a dream story, and in the second half, the atmosphere and names of the characters suddenly changed.

While watching the movie, there were some scenes where it was difficult to judge whether this was a dream or reality. However, if you think about it, there are times in our lives when we escape from reality and live in dreams.

We often dream of becoming famous, successful in our work, have everything we want, and then immerse ourselves in a completely different person."

Mulholland Drive" is the sad story of one woman, Diane, whose dreams were dashed, her love unfulfilled, and all shattered.

It's a little difficult, so I got tired before going to bed, but I thought I'd take a look at it again if I had the chance.

Kusama: Infinity
(2018)

She taught us to do what we love in life.
Yayoi Kusama suffers from schizophrenia and has a naive and sensitive image. However, in reality she is not. She came from a wealthy family in Japan and was able to make her way into the US in the 1950s. She was determined to make a name for herself in NYC. She wore fine mink and fine kimonos for seeking attention. She was a very aggressive and brave woman.

Now and then, artwork is an investment of the wealthy. She was successful in the art industry because she was very good at marketing, although she had numerous ideas plagiarized by other artists. Perhaps Yoko Ono imitated Yayoi Kusama's strategy.

Kusama said that she and Cornell were in a non-sex dating relationship, but all of the Kusama that Cornell had painted her naked. Cornell's mother throwing a bucket of water at her was a terrible act.

Over the years, she has been recognized on the cutting edge of art in NYC and London, and around the world. So it doesn't matter if she doesn't get recognized by her hometown, her rural Japanese city of Nagano, which has abandoned and insulted her.

Persepolis
(2007)

A multicultural country will not come true
Saturday afternoon. I chose this autobiographical movie "Persepolis" because I would like to watch European animated films once in a while.

The film is based on a graphic book. I have not read the book yet, but from what I can see on the Amazon page, the film is faithful to the original illustration.

My preconception was that since the film was set in the Iran revolution era of the 1970s, produced by France, I expected that there would be some discriminatory elements. My prediction came true.

The first is a scene where a school teacher tears up a textbook, the second is a scene describing God, the third is a scene where grapes are crushed in a bathtub, and the fourth is a scene where a Japanese man in movie "Godzilla" were cursed for cutting stomach open. I do not know if the same expressions are used in the original book, but these scenes should have been cut as they offended the people to watch.

The concept of this film that I realized is the message that "different cultures do not coexist". People have their own national, regional, and local cultures, where multiple cultures coexist cannot be realized.

The message I got from this film can be summed up in this. In fact, the protagonist's grandmother said, "Under the current situation in Iran, you should not go back," but in the end, her granddaughter decided to go to Iran.

Multicultural coexistence is a pipe dream.

So, overall, I give this movie 5 stars because it had both good and bad parts.

Song of the Sea
(2014)

It is like a work of art in a museum.
I was in the mood for a calming animated film after dinner last night. So I chose "Song Of The Sea" which is highly rated on IMDb. From the beginning, I was impressed by the beautiful animation that looks like a watercolor painting. The delicate watercolor-like animation made me feel like I was in a museum.

Overall, there are few lines of characters, and the story progresses. Every scene is a delicate work of art and I never got tired of watching it. The atmosphere of the art is similar to the old Japanese animation "Heidi, Girl of the Alps". "Song Of The Sea" is from 2014, so it's more modern and hi-tech, but still has the soft feel of old anime.

I think it would have been better if the story had been a little more about family relationships. I give this movie 7 stars. Also, if I have the chance, I think I will watch this movie again.

A Clockwork Orange
(1971)

Meaningless maniac movies made for self-satisfaction
I chose "A Clockwork Orange" today because I saw "Eyes Wide Shut" directed by Stanley Kubrick was great. To be honest, I didn't enjoy this movie and it made me feel uncomfortable. Stanley Kubrick movies are high quality, but this one was a disappointment.

The beginning of the movie begins with violence, robbery and rape. Young wanna-be gangsters are drinking milk all the time and pranking. They think they're cool.

By the way, when it comes to cool celebrities drinking milk, it's none other than Howard Hughes. This is Leonardo DiCaprio's best performance.

It is not surprising that violent criminals are subject to human experimentation by governments. It shouldn't be the subject of a movie.

I think the film director and staff made it with self-satisfaction. The soundtrack is livening up the atmosphere, but if you turn off the sound once. You'll find it's just a geeky movie that's ridiculous.

Self-produced movies on YouTube are much higher quality than this movie. Unfortunately, this movie is overrated. I felt like I wasted two hours.

Pitch Perfect
(2012)

A silly but humorous college student's campus life
Today I felt like watching a school life movie, so I chose "Pitch Perfect". I watched it while remembering campus life when I was a university student. After all, I think that the most free, dreamy and fearless time in my life was when I was a university student. Fat Amy's presence was prominent in this film.

For a film like this one, with no depth of concept, the required characters have a strict character limit of at least 600 characters. It's fun to watch, but there's no lesson or scene to remember.

This movie is recommended for those who participate in chorus and chorus competitions, and for those who want to watch it in their spare time.

Barbarian
(2022)

It was a comedy for me
I haven't seen a horror movie in a long time, so today I chose the new "Barbarian". The last 30 minutes are the most terrifying moments.

However, because it was an amateur performance, I laughed when the monster said "blah blah blah". It has no frightening effect.

This movie is very similar to the old 8mm video "The Blair Witch Project" and the Japanese horror movie "Ring". The scene where the VHS video comes out.

The actors acted naturally and well.

When it comes to spooky monsters living underground, my favorite is Michael Myers from "Halloween." It's enough to see this movie once, so 3 stars.

Elvis
(2022)

Watch the real Elvis live on YouTube rather than this movie
After dinner today, I chose "Elvis" to watch a movie. I was surprised to see Austin Butler, that little boy from Hannah Montana on Disney Channel, all grown up. He acted very naturally.

This movie is a pop production of the historical play set and atmosphere of the time. I never get tired of watching it.

But Elvis' movement and that charisma cannot be imitated by anyone. Austin Butler resembled Elvis to some extent, but he's not exactly like him.

This movie won a Golden Globe Award and is very highly rated, but if you're going to watch this movie, you'll have a more meaningful time watching the real Elvis live on YouTube.

Tom Hanks is not a match for the role of Tom Parker. That's miscasting.

It has a good composition and good actors, but I honestly feel that one viewing is enough for this movie.

Eyes Wide Shut
(1999)

Artistic work of Stanley Kubrick
This is the movie I watched slowly at home on Sunday today. I saw this movie more than 10 years ago, but I suddenly wanted to see it and chose it.

This movie has all the elements of mystery, eroticism, thriller, and humanity, and it's gorgeous. I like this kind of Hollywood look that you see a lot in the 90s.

The constant monotonous piano sounds create an eerie atmosphere. Feels like "JAWS". The couple who were really husband and wife at the time were also beautiful and their visuals stood out.

Stanley Kubrick made this post a posthumous work, but more people should know the message of this movie. In order not to be brainwashed by the news and media of the world.

This movie is composed of wonderful scenes from beginning to end, but there is one scene where I could see the cheapness. It is the scene where the daughter of the manager of the costume rental shop "Rainbow" is playing with two Japanese men.

That scene was so crappy it degraded the quality of this movie. That scene should be cut off.

I also missed doctors using Mac computers in the 90s. What was interesting was that the man who was the clerk in "Hotel Jason" looked exactly like Sam Smith.

I'm glad I finally saw a bright future for the couple. I love this movie and plan to repeat it someday.

Les Misérables
(2012)

People are always seeking freedom
The story of those seeking freedom during the French Revolution. From start to finish, it was a truly miserable story. "Les Miserables" is famous for its broadway musical. An overall dark and miserable scene progresses to the music. 2 hours and 38 minutes, it's like a musical. The music was good, so I didn't get bored with the long movie, but the whole city was dark and the people's expressions were dark as well, so I felt gloomy after watching it. What I noticed was that France had a national character of seeking freedom since the 1800s. I felt that there are many people who do not want to be slaves and want to live freely and in their own way. In fact, the Statue of Liberty in New York is said to have come from France, so it seems that France is a national character that strives for freedom. This movie is realistically portrayed in a timely manner. I thought it was enough to see it once, so I don't think I'll repeat it.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
(2022)

Highly recommended family movie! All characters are unique and interesting!
Today I saw Puss in Boots latest movie, "The Last Wish". It's fast-paced and packed with action and humor right from the start. I was able to enjoy the best 100 minutes.

Puss in Boots is a fearless hero. He is a reliable cat who lives with friendship and dreams. Anyone who loves cats should definitely watch this movie! Every character in this movie is unique and interesting, and the soundtrack selection is so good.

This is one of the best animated movies of 2022. Animated movies usually have a few boring scenes, but in this movie the story progresses so fast that the viewer doesn't get bored.

Puss in Boots has many other movies, but I understand that "The Last Wish" is highly rated. I plan to watch this movie again this year. Recommended as a family movie for the whole family to watch.

Alice in Wonderland
(2010)

It is a dark fantasy work without the lively and totally different from the original.
Today at noon, I watched the Disney animated movie "Alice In Wonderland" made in the 1950s. It was a very unique and great piece of entertainment. I was so moved that I couldn't get out of Alice's mood. After dinner, I watched "Alice In Wonderland" starring Johnny Depp.

To be honest, it didn't have the cuteness of the original, it changed to realistic HD, and it was like a completely different work. Johnny Depp still wears quirky makeup and fancy clothes.

He has also starred in many other Disney films, including "Pirates of the Caribbean". But judging by his court play with Amber Heard, he certainly doesn't deserve a Disney movie. Johnny Depp may be good at acting, but he shouldn't be in movies for kids.

Also, I was very concerned that the girl playing Alice in this movie had too much white foundation. She had powder on her face that was much whiter than the color of her neck, so it was very uncomfortable. Even after entering Wonderland, her face was white and eerie.

Alice in Wonderland
(1951)

What a Great Disney Classic Movie!
I was looking for a movie to watch today Sunday afternoon. I chose "Alice in Wonderland" which I wanted to see for a long time.

This is a great movie perfect for family movie holidays. After watching this movie, I felt very happy. Recently, Disney movies are mainstream with HD quality and realistic animation.

This movie lets you enjoy the good old Disney movies of the 1950s. Animated movies don't have to be high quality. Like" Tom and Jerry" that makes me happy on Saturday mornings.

We sometimes feel warm when we watch classic animation. Each character in this movie is unique and adorable. The movement of the characters was interesting and it took my stress away.

And the soundtrack for this movie is so great. It's really wonderful! I felt happy just listening to the music that matched the movements of the characters. I'm going to watch the new version of "Alice in Wonderland" after dinner today.

Le voyage dans la lune
(1902)

A movie that proves humans were ignorant, stupid and discriminatory 120 years ago
The content and quality of this movie is one star, but I give it three stars in honor of the actors and producers of the film 120 years ago, and the orchestra, which is the only sound.

Yesterday, I saw the news that "people go to the moon", so I searched for a movie about going to the moon. This movie is a classic short movie made in France in 1902.

The movie poster is an eerie scene of the moon peering through binoculars. It's a fairly old movie from 120 years ago. I like silent classic movies represented by Charlie Chaplin, so I am excited to pick this up.

Unfortunately, both the synopsis and the quality of the film were poor. First, the idea of going to the moon and fighting aliens harmonizes with the prevailing ideas of the time, which were aggressive.

In the 1990s, there was a Hollywood movie called "Mars Attacks," and the synopsis of that movie is that you are attacked and fought by aliens on the moon.

In any case, it means that there is an enemy on a planet that neither Europe nor Hollywood knows, which is very discriminatory and offensive.

So, at that time, children who saw this movie (even though they are the great-grandfathers or great-grandmas of people who are now 100 years old) must have thought this way.

In this universe, besides the earth, there are moons and unknown planets, but strange creatures live there and they are our enemies. It instills aggressive and discriminatory thoughts in children.

Though, we don't know if there are any creatures that actually live on the moon. However, it may be because there was a struggle between countries at that time.

The idea that planets, nations, and creatures that look different from us and we don't know are enemies is definitely a fallacy and a stupid side of humanity. I don't understand why this movie has 8+ stars on IMDB.

Knives Out
(2019)

The second half will be exciting!
I watched "Glass Onion" and enjoyed it so much that I chose Benoit Blanc's first movie, "Knives Out". "Knives Out" seems to be more highly rated than "Glass Onion" on the internet review sites. But I was the other way around. Benoit Blanc's unique accent and detective skills can be seen in "Glass Onion." The plot of "Knives Out" is a typical inheritance dispute. Bereaved families, such as a daughter who was successful as a businessman and a husband who was a good talker, decided to fight for a huge copyright. By the way, Jamie Lee Curtis and Toni Collette are doing great acting in every movie they watch. I'm impressed. Chris Evans, the least loyal member of the family, approached heir with the excuse that he doesn't like her family. It was interesting to guess who hired Benoit Blanc by the end. "Glass Onion" was full of humour, but "Knives Out" has a heavy Agatha Christie feel, and you don't miss the presence of Frank OZ in this film. I'm looking forward to the next Benoit Blanc release.

Le Petit Prince
(2015)

The way children live today does not foster the pure heart that the Little Prince cherishes.
I chose this movie today because I love the original of the book. In the original story, as you grow up, you give priority to immediate profit and lose sight of what is truly important. This movie is slightly modified from the original. A girl living in the present age reads a book and the story progresses. The girl's mother sets daily small tasks and commands her daughter to follow them faithfully. I was overwhelmed when I saw that huge amount of tasks. This is how modern children live. It is drawn in contrast to the concept that the Little Prince wants to convey. This movie differs from the original progression of the book. Since the original of the book is a wonderful masterpiece, I felt a little uncomfortable at first. The girl was overly self-conscious and told the old man that she wasted the whole summer because she was listening to a useless story about The Little Prince. The French insert song was also weird. I hope Disney will make a new Little Prince one day. I'm looking forward to it, whether it's an animation or a live-action version.

Bullet Train
(2022)

Violent and pointless boring movies
I picked this movie up today because it appeared in the recommended movies, but I immediately regretted it. The streets of Tokyo, the inside of the bullet train, and the Japanese spoken by people in this film are all FAKE. Casting also lacks a sense of unity. Suddenly Bad Bunny appeared as a wolf and and his line just said "NO!" in the non-speaking part. I didn't quite understand the concept of the movie and wasted 2 hours. The director of this movie may have been conscious of Tarantino in the 90's, but there is no doubt that it is clear CRAP. Even if a knife is stabbed into a person's body, that person will not die easily. I've been doing this trick over and over and it seems boring. I will never watch this movie again.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
(2022)

Gorgeous cast and thrilling crime suspense!
Another masterpiece of Netflix original film! Gorgeous cast and exciting crime suspense. The story is serious, but the funny jokes that come in from time to time so the 2 hours went by in a blink of my eyes. I'm happy to have found one of the best movies of 2023.

Each cast fits the character perfectly and I have no complaints about the casting. In the end, the scenery of the mansion burning was exhilarating! You can also see that people build relationships by prioritizing their own interests.

There are many cases of stealing other people's ideas and incorporating them into your career or business, so we learned it's better not to talk about them casually from this movie.

I will definitely see this movie again!
